I called during the week and made an appointment for 9am on a Saturday. The wheel well plastic protector on one side of my car came completely off (I involuntarily went mudding). There was not many people in when I got there, which was fine with me. Jesse was quick to greet me and check me in. I still had the piece that needed to be re-attached so they took it on back to see if they could fix it. Roughly 45 min later, Jesse came over to where I was sitting, smiled, and handed me the keys "looks like we were able to re-attach, so all finished". Great, then I asked where I needed to pay. Jesse simply said "nope, no charge. Good to go". Just like that! Needless to say, I stared at him for a moment in disbelief. I even asked "are you sure?" Great service, made my day! I'll bring my car back for sure, and most likely buy a new one from Keith (he saw me looking at the shine cars) in the near future. Thanks guys!

I bought a new vehicle and rust bubbles started coming through the paint less than a month later. I was told it would be taken care of. Months later I'm still trying to get it fixed.

I reached out to The Hive Auto Repair, and from the very first conversation with Sivan, I felt completely at ease. They were able to get my son in quickly, which was a huge relief because he'll be on the road soon. During the oil change, Sivan and his team noticed a couple of things that needed attention and took care of them right away. I really appreciated how clear and honest they were throughout the process. As a mom, knowing there's a reliable place my son can go to if anything ever comes up means everything. I hope we don't have to go back anytime soon, but if we do, I'm glad to know The Hive is there. Great service, fast turnaround, and genuinely good people.

I spent over $4,000 for a new power steering pump, alignment, and they somehow found that my steering was still not straight (even though it was not an issue before) so they called me and told me everything they needed to do. Since I travel for work 5 days a week, I felt I had no choice but to let them continue and finish the service. When I brought the final cost and services to a different auto repair shop, they felt so bad for me for spending the money I did. That's when I knew I made a big, big mistake. They also don't have an issue pressuring you into making sure they get to work on your car. They want to overcharge and take advantage of people who have little to no car maintenance experience. They also take too long to get simple repairs done. I had my car dropped off for the above service. During that time, I needed to get a rental because they didn't have any loaner cars available (according to them). They promised me it would only take 2 days. I called every day for 4 days and then they changed the pick up day/time for the following day. Finally was ready. BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!! I drove about 5 miles and started hearing noises as I drove on the main road. I took it back and they said my struts were worn out and they needed to be replaced. I asked them how did they not catch that during my initial service? They told me they didn't hear anything during the test drive and they didn't do anything to those parts of the car. BULLCRAP! They did a wheel alignment (or did they?). I took it to Les Schwab and they said my struts were fine that they were just loose and they did what they did for free and sent me on my way. My assumption for that is they want to take their sweet a$$ time so they can charge more for labor costs. So many issues with this crap auto repair company. I encourage anyone who is thinking of getting services done here to go elsewhere. Literally anywhere else in Moscow or Pullman. Heck, travel to Spokane/CDA if you have to. It will save you so much time, money and frustrations!

My daughter dropped the car off and was told worse case it would be up to 5k, for a full steering replacement. My daughter told me and I knew it was BS. She went to pick up her car and was told it would be around $850.00 to replace a $20 part. I knew based on my own experience and review of the car a few weeks before, the repair would be no more than $500.00 total. The shop charged $285.00 for their 2 hour assessment. Took me all of 20 seconds and a Google search to understand the problem, they basically told me what I already knew. Ends up I called a few other repair shops in the area, each quoting me between $400-$500 for the repair, no more than 2 hours of labor. This shop clearly attempted to take advantage of my daughter who's a college student. Do not trust this shop, ripoff for unnecessary charges.

Everyone we checked with in Pullman and Moscow were closed so, just by chance, we ran by Lux Autohause to see if they could help us. We found out the car was safe to drive home, and he told us what to have done once we got back home. Ken is an all-around great guy! I try to give all businesses the benefit of the doubt, however after buying a vehicle and buying…read morethe bumper to bumper lifetime warranty, we were patronized and misinformed every time we brought our vehicle into the service shop. The lady that texts information, texted like she knew what was going on with the vehicle when she didn't. We brought the vehicle in several times explaining the situation to the service department and have to pay $200 every time we bring it in, mind you costs for repairs would be substantially higher into the 1000s. One of our first repairs was the rack and pinion impacting the steering column, they charged us and when we got it back the vehicle was shaking and making clunking noises, so we brought it back, and they said a U-bolt was forgot to be put on and fastening it was not done. This was very dangerous for us to trust to bring it back for anything else as we drive quite a bit in this vehicle as it is our family vehicle. The latest starts in the spring time (April) when our dual heating and cooling was not working correctly, regardless of what we told the service department, they went and replaced several other sensors, heater core, it was a mess and the problem still persisted after several times bringing it in and paying the deductible. One time they said it was finished, had us pay and sent us off with parts and tools still in the back seat as if they weren't put in, the middle console was extremely loose flopping everywhere. So, we finally contacted the owner and GM of Wysup and they promised better service from there on out, except the problem in the spring time was never fixed fully correctly. Fast forward to today, we just received our vehicle back for and temperature control on the passenger side and rear controls. It still does not work and in this winter, the back only blows cold air and the temperature only allows syncing so both sides have to have the same temperature. They said they recalibrated everything and took several drive tests to warm the vehicle and test it and that it was functioning correctly. Now, this is a luxury vehicle and we paid for it and the warranty to have it function properly. My wife and I did a simple research of the problem and was able to give them specifics of what we found that needed to be fixed. They did not listen to anything we said and come to find out after replacing several other things, the actuator door or mechanism for how the actuator door is processed to correctly distribute the set temperatures for each seat was not fixed. Their communication used too many words, explaining themselves over and over, when we saw them as excuses and condescending as if we didn't know how our own vehicle should run. It was unfortunate and we will never do service with them again or buy a vehicle there.

We've been buying from them since 2015, and each time reminds me why we keep coming back. Car shopping can be one of the most stressful things a family does, but working with Murphy has always made it feel easy. He's honest, straightforward, and genuinely caring. Ridge was great at walking us through the warranty and GAP options--no pressure, just a real conversation that helped us make the best choices for our needs. Even the little things made a big impact: when we walked in, the lady at the front desk gave our daughter a coloring book. Later, after we had been there for a couple of hours, someone noticed she was getting fussy and brought her a bag of chips. That kind of attention to detail and kindness goes a long way. I truly can't say enough about this experience. There's no question why Murphy and Ridge are part of the dream team. Huge thanks to the leadership at Dave Smith Motors for creating this type of culture. You've earned our loyalty--again. - Cris Engel
