I made my first purchase with Jess Ford in April, 2025. I am so glad I did! It was fantastic! I was sad I had waited so long to try them. Perry sold me my Bronco and he was great. There was no "upselling" or pressure. He was educated about the car and answered all my questions even after I had the car for several days. I have been to the service department twice since owning it, once to get a hitch and bug guard installed and the entire experience was painless and perfect! The second time was for a recall, again, easy! We are going to have to purchase another car this summer and we will absolutely be back to purchase from Jess Ford! Called them up and asked for a miracle and they delivered. Fixed me up and got me back on the road in a couple hours. New hose, coolant flush, and back on the road. read more

I went to the service dept. with a check engine light on. Because its a 2005 Escape I knew full well repairs could be more than the value. I went for a diagnosis, Im a 44 year mechanic did not want to be cold. I received a call from service stating maybe it was the fuel injectors and if that did not work change the catalytic convertors. In other words their fix was to throw parts at it in hope it would be fixed. I declined the repairs went to the dealer with a list of diagnosis questions in order of how it should have been conducted. The service writer got defensive and basically blew me off. I asked for the fuel pressure reading that could only be done with a obds reader. Service writer would not give me the reading or admit it had been done. when in fact very first thing for the condition my vehicle displayed. They did not even test or address a light for the airbags. I was charged 227.00 for basically nothing. read more

Each time I go to Jess Ford of Pullman they don't offer any good customer service. The first time I came in I just needed a standard oil change and my car was acting up with its dashboard not turning on after I would start my car. I only had 2 weeks to get this done since winter break was around the corner. They told me they could get me in 3 weeks from the day I came in. At this point I was sure they weren't that booked, so I called the manager and sternly told him that I am in need of services and that I am a loyal customer Ford. So he took my car in and got the change done and fixed my dashboard problem. I was happy at this point because it showed me the manager cared but the employees obviously did not care to even check out what was wrong with my car. The second time I came in same thing happened they blew me off and this time it was a safety issue with my car. Still they did not refer me to another body shop or repair shop they just said they could not help until next week. They couldn't even look at my car. It's for real a walk away. I could have payed for the diagnostics. I just wanted some service since I am a paying customer. Either way I'm never going back because the employees are guys who obviously don't know good customer service. Some help would have gone a long way in my end but since I got no help I'll just write this review. read more

Had my transmission fluid changed here and they didn't bother telling me my transmission was failing and then charged me separately to tell me. Also I'll go in and they say I need my brakes done then next time I go in I tell them go ahead and put on new brakes and then they say they don't need changed! Do not buy a car from Jess Ford! Worst dealership ever. I bought a new Focus from them with Lifetime Warranty. So far I have had 3 clutches replaced, fortunately all of them have been covered by Ford Motor Co extended warranties. BUT every time I take the car in for service they mess the car up. Even for a simple oil change (it's a requirement of the Lifetime Warranty that oil changes be performed by the dealership - at $60 a pop), they splashed oil on my windshield and didn't even attempt to clean it up. The last time I had the clutch replaced, 3 days later my car wouldn't start. Took it back to them and they said the battery was bad - really, after 30K miles the battery is bad? Replaced the battery, 4 days later the car wouldn't start. Took it back to them and they did a diagnosis and said the alternator was bad. Really, only 4 days after replacing the clutch and the alternator suddenly goes bad - with 30K miles????? They gave me a price of $800 to replace the alternator. I called another shop and they will do it for $300. They also charged me $120 to diagnose the alternator issue which took all of 15 minutes, which means their labor rate is $480/ hour! I'm never taking my car back to their service dept! My cousin also bought a new F150 from them and had such horrible experiences with their service dept he sold it and bought a Tundra. Buying a vehicle on line is new to me and spending over 55k on a truck without actually seeing it much less driving it was a bit unnerving to say the least... Drake was the guy who answered my questions from the online site and really made me feel comfortable. The first vehicle I had a questions about sold before I was ready but they found me another one that was perfect for me... they gave me a fair offer for my 2002 truck and we agreed on a price. They even sent the truck off for a spray in bed liner (cheaper than I had found localy) and then Drake drove the new truck over 3 hrs with all the paperwork. I never left the house except to drive the new truck around my town before doing the paperwork. Honest, straight up deal! Felt like an old school handshake type of a transaction that you just knew was a fair honest deal! I request certain features in an F-150. Jess availed every engine on the lot. Then, took time, found a low mileage new vehicle for eight to ten thousand less than order price, installed an after-market navigation system for less than a new Garmin, found simple financing, detailed it beautifully with finish hard coat inside and out and finally took care of getting and installing tags. Hey... and if you are avoiding a Ford 2.7 liter eco-boost engine as some kinda sacrifice - it's wrong thinking. The 2.7 eco-boost has more H.P. and more torque than the 3.5L VI-VCT V6, and virtually the same torque as the 5L V8. The aluminum body is child's play for the 2.7L-V6, and its two turbo-chargers will still pop your neck at 75 mph - a stretch for the 5.0L V-8, and I'm getting 21.6 mpg mixed city & hwy. The 2.7L just has more spirit. Ford has stumbled onto something unique, and Jess ford is a place you should stumble into. read more

After calling to make sure the car was still there and speaking with Preston, i Took the short 70 mile drive to Pullman, met with Preston . he was fabulous...he was professional, he was courteous, he was friendly he was super helpful...was a wonderful experience. There was only 'one' going back to the finance guy not this back-and-forth and back-and-forth. We quickly made a deal after a short test drive, very pleased with the service from salesman Preston and Jeff, finance guy. the general manager came up to me afterwards just before I left, to thank me. Folks, don't be fooled by the "Warranty Forever" sales pitch. I was a total sucker and overpaid by a few thousand dollars over market price for a F-150. Within two months I had to fix $2000 worth of maintenance to the truck that didn't pop up in their inspection. Within another 18 months, the power steering goes out. Another $3000 worth of repairs. Neither repair fell under the program. I learned a big lesson, the dealership at Jess Ford cares about making a good margin over selling quality trucks. Nice folks, but not good tucks. I told them several times which financial institution I wanted to go through. I was assured they would go through my preferred institution. When I got there, Wayne my salesman had everything in order, was knowlagble on how everything worked, financing was ready to go. Truck was washed and fueled up. No high pressure sales. Real nice and friendly people to work with. Wayne followed up to make sure everything was going fine which it was. Had my first service, made the appointment. when I got there they got me in right on time which was nice, serviced the truck as they should, did not try and upsell me on anything. While I was waiting the owner, Jim came out and asked how everything was going, we chatted for a while. Real nice guy and nice of him to care about his company. Well, I'm very disappointed in Jess Ford. I took my Ford RS in to get the head gasket recall fixed last year and had a very terrible experience. I received the survey request asking for my input on my service. I provided my honest feedback and now I'm being refused service at this dealership - Jess Ford of Pullman, WA. Mind you, I didn't find out that I was refused service until after I had scheduled the appointment, brought the car in and had left the dealership. I find this to be very unprofessional considering the fact that I was willing to give them another shot. Never once did Jess Ford reach out to me to see why I felt the way I felt. Never once did they try to make things right. Then when I inquire about the refusal of service, the owner Jim Jess, tells me that I'm creating a toxic relationship and they don't want to provide service for me to provide another negative review and would rather cut ties. I explained to Mr. Jess that I was willing to give them another shot and not once did someone try to reach out to me regarding the complaint, but rather just send me on my way packing. I purchased multiple vehicles from them and find it very disheartening for treatment such as this. My wife and I decided to buy a pickup locally and made a huge mistake by choosing Jess Ford of Pullman. Not only did they withhold information about repairs the truck needed before we bought it, but when we asked for their help in making it right, we were only deceived more. They sold us a truck that needed costly repairs, not to mention they never told us until after the sale that the truck was "red tag". Some of the repairs needed even made the truck unsafe to drive, such as a cracked coolant housing. Which of course they owned up to "finding" after we had to bring the truck back to them the first time. We hadn't even had the truck for 24 hours when the electrical system went bad and the engine started leaking oil. Everything from the odometer to the radio didn't work. After having that repaired, they said they also had fixed the cracked coolant housing and the major oil leaks we had also noticed the first few days we had it. After weeks in their shop, we finally get it back to see it is still pouring oil, so we took it to a local shop to have a diagnosis done. This diagnosis revealed that the truck had several major oil leaks, still, and the mechanic informed us that he wouldn't even touch it was so extensive and was at least $1,000 in repairs. He said Jess Ford's shop had maybe repaired the 2 more minor leaks in comparison to what was still leaking. So of course we call Ford back and ask what the deal is and they tell us they can no longer help us and that they have "done enough" after of course presenting us an inspection report that was made on intake of the truck and they never showed it to us before the sale. So after all the bad news we decided to take the truck to another ford dealership to get repaired only to find out the oil leaks would cost $2,700 to fix and on top of that there was another $4,000 in suspension issues. The suspension components failed the mechanics inspection and could make it unsafe to drive. We have only had the truck since early September and have only driven the truck 450 miles and now we are stuck with a huge shop bill. Needless to say we are beyond frustrated and will never give them our business again and we made sure all of our friends and family know about it. We found the perfect truck on their website, but we live in Gig Harbor. We thought we were going to have to fly out to get the truck, but they went out of their way to make the transaction easy on us, and even delivered the truck to our doorstep the next day. We worked with Andrew, who was a great salesman. I strongly dislike high pressure salesmen and he was the complete opposite of this. He was knowledgeable and honest, made us confident in our decision to purchase a truck site unseen.
