My husband and his new Corvette!
    Kari G.

I was completely up side down in the car I had, Chandler, James, and Al were amazing. They got me out of it without getting "hosed". Gave me a great deal on an extended warranty too. Then we came back and bought a new Corvette. Chandler goes above and way beyond what he does to make sure you're comfortable and feel good about your decision. I will travel from western Washington to buy a car here!

Made a deal over the phone on a new 2026 GMC Canyon. Drove 7.5 hours to pick it up on 1/5/2026. When I went to sign paperwork, finance manager Raymond Routh had a $4,500 warranty added on top of what I was supposed to pay for the truck. When I told him "no" on the warranty, he said that this is an added option they do that would not come out of my pocket and that it doesn't go on your loan. He gave me no option to check a box saying no. At the end of everything, this $4,500 was added on top of my loan. When I went back in to tell him I wasn't going to pay for this, he told me that the finance company requires it and that I can cancel it after my first payment. I had no option but to be stuck with the added warranty that he told me I would not have to pay for. When I got home, I called the finance company ( Santander ) and they informed me that they do not require any added warranty for my loan, so basically Raymond Routh lied to me. Then when I tried emailing and calling Raymond Routh, he never answered or returned my calls. My salesman DJ, finally got the AUL warranty cancelled on 1/14/2026 and told me it would take up to 6 weeks and my $4500.00 would be refunded towards the lender. Now it has been 6 weeks and still haven't seen my refund. Once again, I left several emails / calls to Raymond Routh and get "0" responses. I will follow up when I get my refund for the AUL warranty but would strongly urge not to buy from this dealership. The salesman, DJ, was good to deal with but the Finance manager Raymond Routh is a crook.

Customer service is horrible. I was told I inquired in too many vehicles and it cost them too much money every time I inquired.

This is our second purchase from the Coeur d'Alene Dave Smith dealership and I'm sure it won't be our last.

We found my daughter a car with low miles and a good price. Living in a different state, I asked the dealer to put the car up on a hoist and give me a video tour. I got a 3-4 second video. I asked about two known typical problems with that make/model..."Our mechanics went through everything. Those are in excellent shape! Nothing to worry about. This car runs awesome!" Now, I like to believe the best in people, so we purchased the car. It shipped across the country and arrived with 3" of water in the trunk (dealer failed to mention the convertible top had a leak). Both glove boxes are broken. The dipstick is broken off. Oh! And the two problems I asked about? Turns out they needed to be fixed -- which tells me two things. First, the mechanics didn't do their inspection very well. Second, the dealer straight up lied. And the convertible top sensor was held in place by cardboard and tape. So what happened when I called the dealer? "We'll look into that and I'll get back to you." What happened when I didn't hear anything back after two weeks? I called his boss and mentioned that I've spent as much fixing the car as I spent on the car. "We'll look into that and I'll get back to you." When I asked about the warranty? "That's not valid because we can't do the work since you live in another state." That was 4 weeks ago, still haven't heard back. If you see a car you like here, run the other direction. Avoid this place at all costs...or it will likely cost you a bunch.

I had a great buy experience with suraj Kendia and Brandon carrasco when I bought my 2025 subaru outback back in August 2025. When I bought the car I also purchase the maintenance package, thinking it would help save me from having to keep the receipt for the maintenance that I would do my self or having another shop do. I have had issues at 2,128 miles, 5,501 miles, 5,523 miles, 6,201 miles, 10,663 miles. Issues ranging Check engine lights, eye sight disabling, Driver side windows slow to roll up, left side of steering wheel fraying, Airbag Code after service, window code after servicing windows for slow roll up. My last service was probably the worst one yet, I was scheduled for a oil change and tire rotation, Not only did the service take almost 2 hours. Once I had received my car after service, I had called my boyfriend to let him know how it went. When I informed him that they said my front break where 10MM and rears where at 8 MM with my tire tread depth being 7/32 second. My cabin and engine air filter passing as clean. My boyfriend was a bit suspicious about these numbers so he had me stop my his shop as he is a mechanic. Once my boyfriend got to look at my car my front breaks where a 7 and the rears at 5, cabin and engine air filter are dirty. Tired tread at 6/32 on all 4 tires, oil was over filled by about a quart over. My oil drain plug was lose and oil was leaking out, and the oil filter rim was full of oil as well. This is not the first time I have had a sloppy job from parker subaru. When I called Parker subaru I was asked to return to the shop, this time I brought my boyfriend with me. They brought us out to the shop and showed us everything. They where using the break checker wrong, and the tire depth reader wrong as well. They drained my oil and refilled it. I would never suggest using Parker subaru service department, take your cars else where or learn to service them yourself.

Horrible customer service: My Experience!!…read more Living in a remote area, basic errands often become an ordeal. For me, that includes the annual ritual of driving into town (thirty minutes) to get my vehicle serviced and my snow tires mounted--something I make a point to do before winter fully sets in. This year, however, my trip was far more frustrating than it needed to be, thanks to what I can only describe as a lack of customer service and transparency at Mike White Ford in Ponderay, Idaho. Like many, I rely on snow tires to navigate our challenging winter roads. My tires are in great condition, despite being ten years old--they have fewer than 500 miles on them, have been stored indoors, and are well-maintained. I scheduled my appointment weeks in advance to ensure everything would be taken care of before the snow became too treacherous. Yet, when I braved a snowstorm to make my appointment for an oil change and tire mounting, I was blindsided. At pickup, the dealership informed me they would not mount my snow tires because, as they claimed, it was "illegal" under DOT regulations. This declaration struck me as odd, so I asked for clarification and interacted with both the service advisor and the service manager. Unfortunately, neither could provide proof of this supposed law. Instead, the service manager handed me a printout from the Ford owner's manual, specifically page 58, which states, *"In general, tires should be replaced after six years regardless of tread wear."* This was presented as their justification for refusing to mount the tires. However, it's clear this is a recommendation, not a regulation. Their inability to distinguish between the two and their insistence that no other shop would mount the tires left me frustrated. Curious, I called two other local tire businesses and was told they'd need to inspect the tires but would likely mount them if they were in good condition. So much for "no one else would do it." Safety is, of course, paramount. I understand the concerns about older tires, even those with low mileage and good storage conditions. What frustrates me isn't the dealership's adherence to their policy--it's the lack of communication and accountability. They didn't mention this policy when I scheduled my appointment weeks in advance, nor did they apologize for the inconvenience it caused me. There was no acknowledgment of the time and effort I spent driving in a snowstorm, no attempt at service recovery, and no sign warning customers of this practice. A simple heads-up when scheduling the appointment would have allowed me to avoid the hassle and find another solution. A courteous apology or even an offer to help me find a shop that could mount my tires would have gone a long way. Instead, I got defensiveness, misinformation, and an unwillingness to take responsibility for their failure to communicate. Customer service is about more than following policies. It's about how those policies are applied and how businesses treat their customers, especially when things go wrong. My experience at Mike White Ford in Ponderay, Idaho, was a lesson in how not to handle a situation. I hope by sharing this story, I encourage businesses--especially those in small communities where trust and word-of-mouth matter--to prioritize communication, honesty, and service recovery. That's what keeps customers coming back, storm or shine.

Now I might not be a vehicle expert, but I do know basic laws of gravity and that they haven't changed and that water cannot run up hill. We had to call out of state to the transmission shop that installed it and they called the ford the got the transmission from to assure us that this issue is covered by our warranty. Even after going back and forth with the transmission shop out of state (and that shop with Ford the company) Mike White still would not do the warranty work. Took it to Burnett and sounds like he gets a lot of work from Mike White not honestly honoring warranty issues. Unfortunately I will be going all the way to Spokane for any further work that must be done at a dealership.
