Heritage Auto Repair - This was the work they did to my car. Supposedly a broken bolt. All I see is weld marks and another catalytic

My daughter is a student at WSU and called me to tell me her car's brakes were squeaking. I found…read moreHeritage Auto Repair on Yelp and saw their high rating, so I called on a Friday afternoon and spoke with AJ. He was able to schedule an inspection for Monday morning and quickly put our minds at ease that everything is just fine and safe. I really appreciate their choice of honesty over opportunity. Thanks AJ and crew at Heritage Auto Repair!

I would strongly caution anyone considering Heritage Auto Repair…read more We brought in our 2018 Nissan Murano because of a screeching noise. Heritage diagnosed the problem as a serpentine belt and tensioner and charged us over $560 to replace them. The very next morning the exact same noise returned. When we contacted them again and sent a video, they told us it was actually a wheel bearing issue and quoted another $1,150 for repairs. At this point we lost confidence and sought another opinion. A different shop diagnosed the actual problem immediately: the transfer case, which explained the noise and the acceleration issues. So to summarize: * Heritage charged us $560 for a repair that did not fix the problem * They then misdiagnosed the issue again as wheel bearings * The real issue was the transfer case, which they completely missed What is most concerning is that they were prepared to perform another $1,150 repair that would not have solved the problem either. Good mechanics diagnose problems before charging customers for unnecessary work. This experience felt like guessing at repairs while the customer pays the bill. I would recommend anyone experiencing drivetrain or noise issues get a second opinion before authorizing repairs here.

I've used Les Schwab for years, because they are very reliable, and they do what they say. They are…read morenot always the cheapest, but they are never out of line or they always communicate what needs done, what they must do (not always the same) and a close estimate. I've never been surprised. Above all, they are service and customer oriented. Let me tell one story. I drove across my state on a weekend - 300 miles each way. On the way back, my vehicle started bouncing in a way that made it dangerous to drive. I was at the halfway location, it was Sunday and Les Schwab was closed in Ellensburg, WA, where the problem became severe. I called anyway and left a message, really hoping to be first in line Monday morning. 30 minutes later I got a call from Les Schwab, the owner or manager offered to come in and put an old wheel and tire on if he had one. HE DID EXACTLY THAT, on a Sunday afternoon and I got home later that night. That's just one story. I have a few. Trust your car to these people.

Do not recommend. My tire was slightly low and I went to ask someone here to put a little air in it…read morejust to make sure it's good. I pulled up to one of the bays and without saying a single word this guy comes up and starts "putting air in the tire" after about a minute I asked if it was low and he nodded just continuing what he was doing. Few minutes later he says i need to go inside and make an appointment and buy a new tire, he also said there's no air going into the tire. Even though it aired up just fine 2 days ago. i immediately pull over to a parking spot to check out the tire and it is COMPLETELY flat. There was just a very slow leak before this until he messed with it and also stole the tire cap. So this man left a pregnant woman to drive home on a rim with no help whatsoever. Not the first time either being treated this way by them
