My friends and I came here for lunch. We ordered our food at the kiosk right at the front and then seated ourselves. There's plenty of seating available. Food: I ordered a sushi burrito. I loved that I could easily pick what exactly I wanted in my burrito and what sauces to have. It makes it easy for people to get what they want. It was also pretty good. I also ordered a matcha milk tea that wasn't bad. Service: Ordering at the kiosk was pretty easy. You pick up your food from the back counter once ready. Super negative experience and do not recommend Tai Chi in Pittsford. The first time I ordered from here an entire entree was forgotten and when I asked for a refund they would not refund the missing entree. I gave them a second chance two years later and ordered a two protein sushi burrito. When I opened the burrito at home'it was missing the protein entirely. They now have a sign forbidding you from grabbing your own takeout, which often is ready to go and right there. The problem with this is that no one working here wants to come over and get your takeout for you. They conspicuously avoid eye contact and ignore you, even though your order is right there. Super tasty food with fast and convenient options for takeout. I opted for ordering lunch online and picking it up at the restaurant, and everything was ready within 20 minutes. I ordered the rice bowl with three proteins (spicy tuna, salmon tartare, and shrimp, plus a whole slew of toppings, and they did a great job of presenting it in the takeout box. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious, and I loved both the spicy mayo and wasabi sauces I chose. They pack the sauces on the side, so nothing gets soggy before you eat it. It was a surprisingly large portion, and ended up lasting me a meal and a half. I also ordered the Zang Zang Matcha Tea, but it was pretty sweet (you can't adjust the sweetness on certain drinks), and wasn't my favorite. Next time, I'm looking forward to trying one of their fruit teas, which looked pretty good. Online ordering was a breeze, and although their system isn't the clearest about when your order is ready, by the time I got to the restaurant about 20 minutes after I ordered, I walked to the register and they had my order all prepped. There's also an option for curbside delivery, where you park in one of the designated spots in front, order through the website, and denote your parking space in the notes section of your order. I haven't tried that service, but it seems handy if you want to avoid public spaces altogether. Overall, the food was delicious and a great value. While my typical order is a sushi burrito, I am a little under the weather and opted to go with some Cilantro Tonkotsu ramen to soothe my sicky soul. I am SO glad I did as their ramen is just as good as their sushi options! The Tonkotsu is a nice full broth with a ton of noodles, egg, scallion, a protein of your choosing, and MORE! All of this came together (with some bonus sriracha) to be the most delish brimming bowl of soup evah. Staff was prompt as per usual and my Taro tea was as delicious as ever. I am absolutely in love with Taichi, and I have one of their tofu bowls at least once a week, When I heard they had a new location, I had to go check it out. It's really nice inside, with nice and spacious seating. The order forms are right inside the door, and they had new pagers for your order. I had the best service I've probably had at any Taichi when I was here. The cashier told me that I had rewards available, so I used them, and my bowl was ready faster than it ever has been. It was also correct, which is a big deal! And it was really good. I just love the bowls here! The rewards card could use some work though. There's no website or anything to look at to see how many rewards you have or what they're worth. When their program switched over a few months ago, someone at the Irondequoit location actually took all my points off rather than adding them on, and I have no way to prove this, except that the next time I went, I didn't have anymore rewards. Since I go so often, it was probably a good amount, but again, since I can't look at it anywhere, I don't even know exactly what it was. I also got a bubble tea this time, and they have new thinner cups. They look nice, but it wouldn't sit in my cupholder very well because it was too skinny. So you might want to put a napkin around it or something if you take it to go. This new location isn't really convenient for me, so I probably won't be at this one too much, but it's really nice and I'd definitely go back again. If you've never been here, try one of their bowls. You might become and addict like me! read more

I usually go to the Tai Chi location in Irondequoit but I'm excited that this location is now open because it's close to my work and where I take hapkido classes. I stopped in after a class on Saturday afternoon and ordered a sushi burrito and mango smoothie. They have a lovely spacious interior with lots of seating areas: tables, booths, and bigger couch-style seats near the windows. They also have board games and sketch pads for customers to use. The menu is huge and you can get sushi burritos, poke bowls, and ramen. They have an extensive drink list of hot drinks, boba tea, smoothies, and more. Tons of flavors with lots of add ins. I was served pretty quickly because it wasn't busy, but I know that as more people realize this location exists it'll get busier! Very cute place. The service is slow. We only ordered boba tea. I got the match milk tea with red beans. My brother got the Zang Zang tea with sweet potato, almond milk and tapioca pearls. The match was decent. The red beans were an interesting twist and not one I would consider a second time, may just stick to regular boba. But the combo was interesting. I felt that the taste of the red beans took away from the matcha flavor a little. Others may think it balances it out, but I'm matcha-mad. It's refreshing to see folks of various backgrounds coming to order a bubble tea further acculturating a business building. I think the Ramen here tastes better than their other branch in college town. Tonight I experienced disappointments from 2 Tai Chi Bubble Tea locations. First being College Town, Mt Hope... I purchased a $20 gift certificate, which was handed to me by the cashier wrapped in receipt print out. Shortly afterwards, I discovered the card was Christmas themed (keep in mind it's June) and covered in greasy finger prints. I am guessing it is was refurbished. So I decided to make a quick stop on the way home to the Pittsford, Monroe Ave location... hoping to make an exchange for something more appropriate for a 14 year old's birthday present. The gift cards at the second location were cute... pink, glossy, without grime... perfect for a teen... and yet the manager refused to assist me with this simple request! The receipt in my hand wasn't even 15 minutes old! So I proceeded to explain how excited I was to share bubble tea with the birthday girl, but now I wouldn't be recommending the place to anyone, nor be returning myself. I spent good money, yet was so frustrated that I simply slapped the undesired card on the counter, stating "to whomever walks through the door, because I can't do anything with this." I am a bit at a loss for word reviewing Tai Chi Bubble Tea... probably because there are a few steps I think that they could take to elevate this fast casual concept. First off, I think the food options are a tad limited and a bit oblique. I like the build your own concept sushi burrito, but I'd recommend they have some pre-configured options for us sushi burrito naifs. I give Tai Chi props for their ramen, BUT I'd like to see them add a veggie broth that is not tomato based or at least a chicken broth for those who are beef avoidant. Other than that, it is a cool joint that unfortunately seems to hew a little it too close to the Millenial/Generation Z demographic. They have a decent set up for covid precautions. You can order from the parking lot if you would like and your drink can be brought out to you. There was only one customer ahead. I got a mango bubble tea with passion fruit bobas it was really good. I like that they let you choose if you want sugar less, more or none and ice less more or none. I choose less ice and no sugar and it was really good. The poke bowl was really good. Some parts were warm from the rice and other parts were cold. I wasnt too sure if this is a normal thing for poke bowls to be this way. I kind of was expecting it all to be cold because of the fish. Love the variety and the amount of veggies that I can add! My fav is: white rice, tuna, red cabbage, kale, edamame, cucumber, carrot, black bean, avocado, broccoli, pickled radish and corn. I like to change up the sauces, but always include spicy mayo, tomago, masago, cilantro, ginger, green onion & fried onion. Had my first tai tea here and it was amazing. Sushi burritos are so so good too! The veggies are perfectly ripe and everything taste really fresh! They're very good with allergies and even have a little sign that lists all the gluten free and vegan sauces! I lost my debit card there and called them 20 minutes later and they were like yeah we found it and we tried to find you on Facebook, which is, like why are you trying to find my Facebook???
