Came across this place on social media and I'm so happy I did! First of all, the service was excellent! Their menu had many breakfast options. I had the Huevos Rancheros with barbacoa. The eggs were cooked perfectly with a delicious salsa on top, the potatoes were soft inside with a nice crisp on the outside. The beans had a great flavor and texture and I loved the little touch of chorizo on top of the refried beans. The barbacoa was not overly greasy and the plate was served with homemade tortillas. The food was delicious and the coffee was on point. Loved the friendly atmosphere. Can wait to try their dinner options. I will definitely go back! Delicious Mexican cuisine! This place is a must try!

The salsa, rice and beans stole the show for me. I had a great chicken dish and their ground beef also has a delicious taste to it. Best part? Loved their menu and reading about their family history as well. Go give this place a try!

We wanted to try this place because it had birria tacos and wasn't too far from our house. The…read morebirria tacos were decent, though they had very spicy pickled onions in them and it took away from the flavor in my opinion. We also tried their empanadas, which were just ok. Drinks were kind of watered down, though, and we were surprised to find out that the sodas are not free refills! Kind of weird and soured our experience, especially since we found this out after we got the bill. Overall, the place is just ok. There are a lot of other tex mex restaurants around that are a better value for the money. I think they were expensive because they're close to Seven Lakes High School and know people will just pay for the convenience.

No need to the menu, it's been a slam dunk to order their elite fajitas. Ambience and comfort has been top notch. This year their beef fajitas were different. They seemed like a different cut of beef. They tasted alright, but texture was different. They weren't the "melt in your mouth" variety I remember. It wasn't the elite fajita place it was a year ago. Beyond the fajitas, the sides were excellent. The guacamole was perfect; pure avocado mashed to perfection with nothing else added. to it. Finally, they didn't have the green tomatillo salsa I was craving. I requested it, and it never came. No explanation. And they weren't busy at all being a Tuesday. I'll be going somewhere else next year for birthday fajitas.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. My husband was also impressed by the attention to detail throughout the restaurant--even the restroom was stocked with everything you could think of, from toothpicks to mouthwash, which was especially appreciated after enjoying all the delicious corn and black beans! It's rare to find a restaurant that combines amazing food, excellent service, and thoughtful hospitality so well. 1 Star -- Good Food, Horrible Customer Service!…read more I visited Los Perez Mexican Restaurant in Katy, TX, and unfortunately, this will be my first and last visit. Let me start by saying the food was actually good, but good food means absolutely nothing when the customer service is horrible! Both my son's order and mine were messed up. Instead of enjoying my meal with my son, I sat there for approximately 10 minutes without eating while waiting for the situation to be corrected. Although they eventually attempted to fix the mistakes, the entire experience had already left a bad taste in my mouth. As a paying customer, I shouldn't have to deal with poor service just to receive what I originally ordered. Mistakes happen, and I understand that, but how a business handles those mistakes says everything about how much it values its customers. The food may bring people through the door, but customer service determines whether they return. And I can assure you, I will NOT be returning. Good food, terrible experience. Los Perez needs to understand that customer service is just as important as what's coming out of the kitchen.
