I've been to this place several times since it opened. Originally I was disappointed that they didn't have some of the more authentic meat choices for their tacos - lengua, barbacoa, or even chorizo! However a simple ask at the counter and they were more than happy to make me an order of chorizo tacos even though they weren't on the menu. They were outstanding. While the price point is a little high for street tacos ($2.50/taco), the freshness and authentic taste were more than worth it to me. This place is amazing! Everything I've tried has been fresh and delicious. I love that they a little self serve salsa bar with plenty of spice levels to pick from. We usually go for the street tacos( chicken for me and tongue for him) which are fresh made and perfect with just a squeeze of lime. Chicken nachos are also superb. This place is wonderful!!! Everything our office has ordered from here has been amazing. The portions are huge and all ingredients are fresh. The pulled chicken is soooooo juicy and flavorful! The restaurant is super clean with full visibility of the kitchen. The staff is always friendly and even when it's busy they great you with a smile like they are actually happy to see you and to be at work. Please don't let my 3 stars mislead you. This place is good and I've been there 3 times and plan to keep coming as its near my house. However, for what I normally order I can get much larger portions for comparable prices elsewhere. I typical order the street tacos and black beans. The carnita tacos are extremely moist and my new fav, but I really like the grilled chicken too. Take the the time out to sit inside, as they give you free chips and have a little salsa bar with 5 different salsas (well one is some white/ranch sauce I haven't tried, lol). That's the part I absolutely love. The place is always clean and the people who work there (I've only seen three at the most) are friendly and patient if you're unsure what to order. Even though the street tacos are small in my opinion, with the beans and chips I always leave stuffed. I tried one of the burritos a while ago, and it was okay, but felt much more Tex-mex to me versus authentic Mexican. For the Dundalk area though, this is about as good a Mexican spot as you'll find. read more

So yesterday 6/11/19 went to this place for food, seem pretty decent. Ordered food. Wanted tea or lemonade "we dont have any" oh ok then I'll just take water, oh really ok, that's odd, so processed to ordered food. Received food. About 20-30 mins into eat another customer walked in and then walked out but before they walked out they asked if we knew they did not have water, we at first said yeah they and they said no..... your not understanding what I'm saying they have NO RUNNING WATER! So we asked the staff and they confirmed it. No running water, since 11am-noon. Now we got there about 730pm. We said why weren't we informed of this, they said it's no big deal. We then asked if you touch something how do you wash hands they said "hand sanitizer", we were like really? Then I asked you are dealing with raw meat like chicken, pork, steak, etc-etc. how do you clean counters and equipment they again said hand sanitizer. So now we had eaten chemicals and co contaminated food. They did not see to care. Today I've had stomach cramps all day and been pooping my brains out. I've called 31 times and they finally answered and of course no manager is there it's ran by a bunch of kids. They went on to say they don't know when they will be back. I'm really mad. I want a refund. I spent 40.00 and i'm following a complaint with the health department and contacting my bank and my lawyer be careful I would give them no stars but yelp requires 1 read more

i got the steak taco and the al pastor taco. i was very disappointed in both. but more so the al pastor tacos. the meat was mush, almost had the consistency of liver spread and had a really bad bitter aftertaste. the steak taco was just ok. the al pastor tacos was so bad it ruined the steak taco for me. at the price point that each taco came at, i was so unhappy. the service was nice and the lady was friendly. read more

This place is delicious! some of the best Mexican food I have had! You will not be disappointed!!! The people who work here are so nice and make sure you are happy at all times. Came to our table many times to refill our drinks and take away dishes. I got pulled chicken on my burrito it was super juicy and tender. You would look at this place and figure it is simply Mexican fast food. That would be so wrong. This little place turns out some seriously good food. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. They have all the standard fare but the Carnitas really stands out. The pork is spiced perfectly and very tender. The nachos with Carnitas is no appetizer, it's a full meal. The street tacos are amazing. They are simple and fresh and I love the corn tortillas. The refried beans are perfect. My favorite part is the salsa bar. You can choose from a variety of salsas. I love to mix and match salsas and this is perfect. The hot salsa has some pretty good heat, and if I think it's hot then most would think it TOO HOT. Very good, pretty authentic. They offer street tacos (corn tortilla, meat, onion, cilantro) and Americano tacos (flour tortilla, cheese, lettuce, tomato), along with quesadilla, burritos, and some kid friendly things like chicken fingers. Like another reviewer mentioned, they are lacking some authentic meats, but they do indeed have chorizo, which is good enough for me. Chips are included with the meal, and there's a salsa bar you can use for your chips and whatever meal you order. Food comes out quickly, and hot and fresh. I work a few minutes away, and there's a serious lack of good lunch options, so I'm going to be a very regular customer there. I'd consider this place a 5 star for the area, but only 4 stars in comparison to a place like Tortilleria Sinaloa (my favorite that I've found in city), or some of the food truck tacos I had in Philly. read more

Honestly I was a little hesitant because of the area. I didn't think it would be that great. My fiancé and I looked up reviews and decided to give it a try...and I'm SOOOO glad we did!!! I got the chicken nachos and he got beef tacos. Everything tasted so fresh and yummy. The girl at the counter was very polite. She let us sample the Horchata and Jamaican (Hibiscus) water. I have regularly enough ordered from here (since they opened several years ago) to know what to expect. This time? So shockingly disappointed that I will never go there again. Called in and ordered a chimichanga - fried. Such as I always have. Arrived 20m later (as instructed) only to be told at 4:15 in the afternoon (they close at 9) that they didn't fry the chimichanga because they "cleaned the fryer". I asked incredulously: in the middle of the day in the middle of the dinner hour? Are you suggesting that you don't want to get it dirty again? They said "no we just clean it at different times". IN THE DINNER HOUR? I politely and briefly and quietly explained that I do not like soft tortillas and had no time to select another dish or get something from another place. They took $3 off the price of the overpriced approximately $16 bill (chimi dish and chips; no drink). Which didn't really help because I knew I wasn't going to like the way they prepared it having arbitrarily done so without notifying me of the change before I arrived. Got the dish home and not only was the chimi not fried but not even baked or crisped in any way, shape or form - basically "raw" soft out of the package tortilla - but the chimichanga was also exactly HALF of the size it always had been before (but the same price); the dish was extraordinarily overloaded with mushy sticky Spanish rice and a pile of refried beans that did not even have cheese on them as it had before and as is tradition. A number of the chips were rubbery as if exposed to moisture and all were cold. Not even warm. Much less hot. The salsa tasted like ketchup and water and the sauce on the chimi - usually queso - was -,I have no idea what. Thank goodness I ordered extra queso for a chimi which ended up having none on it at all. I immediately called them back. Reminded them who I was from 20m before - told them these facts, said I wanted no reparations because of the many fails on so many levels and that I would NOT be coming back and would be leaving this review (I have never left an online review before). I have no idea why the quality and quantity and condition of the dish has fallen so miserably but I will not be returning. Consider my experience if you wish before patronizing such a place. I was so shocked at them telling me they didn't fry it (it's like you ordering a rare steak from somewhere and they make it well - thinking that that major arbitrary change without your notification and permission wouldn't matter) - that I didn't notice if the staff was wearing masks. Very unlike me. But a foggy memory of the recent differently-focused encounter - makes me dubious. Good luck if you go there. read more
