If I could give this place zero stars or even a -10 star review I would because I doNt know what the heck type of taco this is.. I can't even believe they felt comfortable handing me this. I asked for street tacos but I asked for the corn tortillas to be fried or pan seared how crispy street tacos are normally cooked. The girl at the front said oh ok you want crispy tacos I said yes... this is wtf they gave me and I AM LIVID! The tacos are dry as hell. Barely any meat and you had the nerve to charge $15.00 for a taco an elementary school kid could have made in the comfort of their home. With store bought hard shells telling people they are crispy corn tortillas . Just flat out unacceptable!

The kids chicken tenders were crispy but not over cooked. The fries were a bit soggy but that could have been because I ordered on Uber eats which took a long to get delivered. I also appreciated the free chips and salsa. The reason I ordered from here was because of the three birria tacos for $14. Although they meat itself was delicious and so was the consume (would've like it a bit thicker) I was thrown off by the onions / white slaw they were in. The taste was a mix of a slaw and cream sauce which I wasn't expecting and is the reason for my 4 stars. It threw off the taste

I ordered 6 tacos through door dash. The dasher delivered 2 tacos. When I saw the bag was very much missing several items I called and was told, " it's not their problem" . I spent $40 to be disrespected in this manner. Never again. I would have picked up the items if that was the only option but instead I received a rude response to service issue.

Don't let the outside of the restaurant fool you. We almost turned around because it looked like a real hole in the wall. The inside is completely renovated and the food is really yummy without a high price. I ordered the shrimp burrito and it was very yummy (although there were limited shrimp and a lot more rice and beans). My partner ordered the street tacos that looked like authentic tacos and tasted yummy. They also give you chips and have a dip bar of about 4 sauces to try.

The Good: The establishment was clean and the employees were nice. The bad: Firstly, I was given the wrong drink. I ordered a Root Beer and was given a Diet Coke. Secondly, I had two orders of vegan tacos. One order was just fine while the other order was soggy. My wife, she ordered the fish taco and she also said that it was just fine. Lastly, while we were eating, the TV in the establishment was playing an Eminem song, so while we ate, and we have our 3 year old son with us, we listened to Eminem talking about about genitalia, saying the F-word, and jerking off in a nursing home. It is not really the type of music you want to listen to while you're eating, especially with your 3 year old there. There was another child there that was slightly younger than our son listening to this trash as well. Judgment: Take Your Business Elsewhere

No matter when you go, the food is always on point. The street tacos are a must try. (Steak if you ask me lol)

Excellent Choripollo! Standard size portions, friendly staff; the Guacamole is phenomenal, as is the street Carne Asada taco. We drove up here 30 miles to an event, and stopped by here because we were hungry. Now we will make the drive just for this food!

This is not real Mexican food, very little flavor, not satisfying at all! I've been to authentic Mexican restaurants before and this is most definitely not it! I beg of you if you're looking for Mexican food DO NOT go to this restaurant. I was so disappointed because it has good reviews here... I do not trust the people that reviewed because the food was trash. read more

We ordered tacos with no onion, and they gave us extra onion. Then we ordered 2 bags of chips for 2.50, and each bag came with only FIVE chips!!! We also ordered the tacos with pineapple on them, and we got no pineapple. The quality of the food we did get was good, but overall, very disappointing. read more

I've been craving tacos for a while now and I was told about this place maybe a month ago and decided that I want to try it out. I walked in to be greeted with the sign stating that they were out of chicken, steak, Carnitas, beef, shrimp and cheese. Definitely was not a good first impression I looked at the menu before I came and just had a taste for some chicken street tacos. I heard their street tacos was to die for. I settled with some fish tacos that were decent, the beans looked canned and unappetizing and the rice was okay. We were looking for another Mexican restaurant and this place is great! We ordered the dragon burrito, Mexican rice, guacamole, queso, chips and americano chicken tacos. Everything was so good. The queso had a really good kick to it. The guacamole was seasoned well. The chicken in the tacos was seasoned, moist and delicious! The burrito was huge and delicious. Would 100% recommend this place! read more

We were on this side of town and it was Cinco de Mayo, used Yelp and this is what immediately came up. Yay for yelp because this place was a winner. Very small moms and pops spot in an obscure strip mall. But the burritos we had were huge and DELISH. We enjoyed ourselves so much and will certainly drive back out here just for the food. Additionally the customer service will bring us back too. The young lady cashier answered all my questions, and I typically have a million. She also adjusted the burrito I requested to suite my pescatarian palate. While you wait for your food they bring out warm chips and you self serve yourself salsa from a tiny cold bar. Don't mind the 7-11 drinks, there's one next door and we asked if we could bring them in. read more

Always up for trying a new Mexican restaurant - we have so many excellent ones here in Baltimore! Not sure how this place earned all these stars. As far as taste goes, would probably be more like 2 stars but the waitress was super nice and they were very fast with our orders so that pushes it to a 3 :-). Prices are fair. Street tacos are $2.50ish but definitely nothing to text home about ;-). None of my friends seemed to blown away by their steak quesadillas, beef burritos, or tacos either so I know it's not just me. The shopping center vibe does not help matters either but I'm pretty good at keeping an open mind about the setting but would still say there are FAR more delicious Mexican eateries in the Bmore area so likely won't be re-visiting this one. read more

This is what you call as taco's heaven. I accidentally found this place after went to the flea market not far from this place because we went there with one of our Mexican friend. And I have to say that this is the best taco I ever eat in Baltimore. Even my Mexican friend said the same. They have two different kind of taco, the American style one; with lettuce etc. or the real Mexican taco, just meat, cilantro, onion and salsa. So good and so many varieties. I will always come back there read more

This place is so good! Luis is lovely. Make sure you don't over order because their portions are HUGE. We had vegetarian tacos and the dragon burrito which is smothered in cheese and mole. I mean, soooooo good. $25 for two people and you get free chips and refills. You could probably do it for $15 but we ordered with our eyes. Haha. read more

I eat here every Friday. Tough to find quality like this in Maryland. Some items can be a bit expensive but are totally worth it. The Gordo Burrito is not on the menu. Ask for it. Real children, chorizo, beans rice, diced cilantro, onion and Tamayo. Do it!! read more

My boyfriend and I stopped by here on a whim because I was craving nachos BAD! So we stopped here and we were NOT disappointed!! The serving size, considering the amount I paid for the nachos, was much more than what I was expecting. I spent $12 for a huge plate of nachos, steak, pulled chicken, queso, pico de gallo and sour cream. Had I known the serving was so large, we would've split the nachos vs. him getting his own taco bowl. The food was amazing and again, I couldn't beat the price. It's a little hole in the wall in a not so pretty location, but my goodness it was worth it! I ate half the plate and took the rest home for lunch the next day. Food came out fast, hot and the service was good too. Definitely will go back again! read more

I was a little unsure of this location as it is in a kind of sketchy area, but the food is great! I am giving the rating a four because it was a little slow to get three carnitas street tacos, and the floor needs mopped (probably due to it was packed when I was there and the ladies behind the counter were working non stop so they had no time to spare). The corn tortillas were done right as they were not rubbery and heated correctly. I would recommend this location. Dont expect to sit down and eat, like I said it's super busy, and if you order take out call ahead to beat the wait time. read more

Tacos tolteca is a great place for fast food tex-mex in the dundalk area. The food is made quickly with generous servings. We only eat here every few months but the food is always consistent. I would definitely recommend the tacos and enchiladas! The churros are definitely a winner for dessert! read more

I would actually award Tacos Tolteca a 4.5 if possible. This place is surely a diamond in the rough called Dundalk. I ordered the chicken quesadillas and it was freshly made in about 5 minutes for me. The staff was extremely friendly and those quesadillas were some of the best that I have ever had. Their menu isn't huge but the next time out I am going to go for the specialty burritos. It is a shame that their location dulls the perceived value of the restaurant because this is truly a must try! read more

The BEST mexican restaurant in the area. The chicken quesadilla was GREAT!! My husband loves the street tacos. I have had the taco salad. It was wonderful!!!! I have been looking for good Mexican food since I moved here from the southwest 6 months ago. So happy I found this place! We ordered a little bit of everything. Two kind of enchiladas, 2 kinds of chimichangas, 2 kinds of the Gordo burritos, 2 taquitos, 12 tacos and some quesadillas. We tried all the salsas they offer and had a bunch of chips. Everything we tried was amazing, seriously some of the best Mexican food I've tried. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, the prices are great and the food was prepared fast and deliciously. This place is awful. Do not waste your money. They barely have anything that they list on the menu and their service is awful. I honestly don't know how they are still in business. Our order was wrong 2 times in a row. The first time they gave us the order it was missing a whole entire entree. When we placed it, they told us they were out of the El Pastor tacos. Then they ran out of ground beef. The second time they gave us 1 of 3 tacos and again a whole entree was missing. Their food and customer service are not worth your hard earned dollars. read more

My husband and I go here at least once a week. The kind workers know our order by heart. This place has the best authentic Mexican food in the area. The street tacos are perfection. Their quesadillas are packed with tons of meat and cheese. Their little salsa bar satisfies every type of craving. The burrito is huge and tasty. This is a quality authentic Mexican restaurant located behind Eastpoint Mall. They have all the standard menu items for that style of restaurant and everything is made fresh. I've been here a few times, always getting just a couple of soft tacos. They include freshly made tortilla chips and two deep fried...small white onions or some shit. W/e it was, I ate it with tacos. I've only been disappointed here once when I ordered tacos de lengua (beef tongue tacos), which I later realized wasn't even on the menu. Anyway, it was really chewy and still had the skin/taste buds on it. Had the same thing elsewhere before and it was a lot better prepared. No bueno. read more

Tired of the fast food/pizza n sub shops that abound the area? Well, MY favorite lunch spot when i'm working in the area is this spot here. Just finished a couple of their tacos..the red sauce is actually burning the side of my lip as I type lol This was my fourth visit, and I can say consistency is not an issue here. Today's lunch was of chicken, ground beef, and steak tacos. All wonderful. All ingredients are always fresh. Service always friendly and fairly quick. Highly recommended in this food desert of Dundalk. read more

I went there on a Sunday to get some food and since it was close i decided to try something new. Their tacos were great i had carnitas, pulled chicken, and chorizo. I highly recommend the carnitas the fat just melted in my mouth and had so much flavor and the chicken and chorizo were really good as well. Walked out full and happy, great restaurant!! read more

Wish I could give it 3-1/2 stars. It was quite good, the portion sizes were great and the service was nice. It didn't blow my mind (5 stars) and I wouldn't say it was excellent (4stars) but it was better then average. I had the 2 grilled chicken enchiladas, and a Classico taco. My wife went for the Gordo burrito. My enchiladas were better. Wish the retried beans and rice were a little hotter. I would definitely and gladly go back again. read more

I always order the Strawberry Margarita, it is one of my favorite cocktails in Baltimore. Do not eat here if you have any dietary restrictions. Literally every single time I have gotten food here I have specified that I cannot eat meat or I will be sick for days and every single time they put meat in my food. How hard could it be to just not scoop chicken into a quesadilla. I am also allergic to avocado but about half the time they put guacamole on my food despite me specifying that I don't want it. This happens to both of my siblings as well. They screw up 3 of the 5 dishes we order. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I would give 0 stars if possible. read more
