They have a small simple counter to the left of the truck so you can stuff your gullet right there next to what is a nicely kept but unassuming food truck in front of a Japanese specialty auto shop. It's cash only, but there's Chase and BofA pretty close by if you need an ATM. Parking is limited to Fair Oaks unless you wanna walk past all those antique shops up North on Fair Oaks towards this other taco truck which I like less than this one! There's an interesting Santa statue on the store to the right of this truck that I always think about. All of the taco meats are good. I don't even like cabeza, lengua, or chicharron but it is delectable here. They have pollo, carne asada, and carnitas too. There's also a pineapple beverage, horchata, or Coke cans to drink. It's a simple menu but a strong one.

They offer onion and cilantro separately which is a rare perk at taco spots. They sell horchata and pineapple drinks (recommend), and a few soda options. Truck workers are friendly and efficient, you receive your food moments after ordering. There's a bar style table off to the side if you want to eat there, no seating options but the area is clean. *CASH ONLY* and well worth a stop at the ATM. Open late weekdays and even later on the weekend, great spot for a late night bite.

The food was delicious and the prices can't be beat. My personal favorite were the aguachiles, they were perfection! We also ordered two shrimp tacos and surf and turf burritos and neither disappointed. There seemed to be only one person working so kudos to the chef as the food came out fairly quick but you could taste the freshness. When we went it was empty but a few people had pick up orders. The restaurant looked clean and well maintained. I can't wait to come back as those aguachiles are still on my mind.

When I came in it was near closing time and there was no one sitting inside. I think they were closing up, but I had enough time to order something to go. I ended up ordering two fish tacos. It was neatly packaged and plenty of toppings, along with some salsa on the side. When I finally got around to eating the tacos, it was very tasty and there was a nice crisp to the Ensenada style tacos. I definitely cheer for places like this, and I tend to score a little higher only because I feel like there needs to be more places like this around. Not only that, but they have a pretty extensive menu, but I really just came here specifically for the fish tacos on this visit.

Overall, really good. The service was great. Omar, our server, was really informative about the food and the portions. Glen(assuming owner/manager), came over to talk to us and wished us a happy anniversary. We gave him our history about how my wife and I met at work and how we used to work down street many years ago. So it was nice to come back to the area. The interior decor and mood was perfect. Not to crowded on a Tuesday but still enough people.

I had been raving to my friends about the food and amazing service at the Manhattan Beach location, so I was excited for them to try it. We were initially told our best option was outside, despite it being nearly 100 degrees. When I asked to sit inside, the manager focused more on the obstacles than finding a solution. We were eventually offered two separate tables, which we accepted just so we could stay. Our server was slow and not particularly friendly, and the service overall was mediocre. The food was delicious, but unfortunately the experience and hospitality were nowhere near what I've experienced in Manhattan Beach. Very disappointing, especially after recommending it so highly.

We were eating there when another customer came in and was waiting for over 7 minutes with the employee not acknowledging her at all. She eventually just left. Another couple walked in, also waited 5 minutes until she came to assist from the back. While the customer was saying her order, the employee got a personal call while dealing with the food, answered and was preparing the food while on her phone call. I have a video snipped of this interaction. As we were finishing about to leave, another customer came in and was waiting for over 5 min. The entire restaurant can see and hear her on the phone. Something about another employee not coming in and it was just her and that she had done everything. When the customer tried to get her attention she motioned hold on with her hand. I completely understand it sucks when a co worker calls out. But that was a bit much. No wonder this place is always dead. No one would want to come back after this experience.

I got the steak picado, tinga de pollo, and cochinita pibil tacos. I wasn't asked what heat level I wanted for the cochinita pibil, so they gave me what tasted like a level 5 to me. It was so spicy that it basically burned my taste buds. Unfortunately, I ate that one first, so when I moved on to the steak picado and tinga de pollo, everything tasted spicy and I couldn't really enjoy the flavors of the other two tacos. I also tried their burrito, and I was honestly surprised by how tiny it was. I wasn't expecting a huge burrito, but this was much smaller than I imagined. Flavor-wise, it was also pretty underwhelming and not something I would order again. Overall, this location was a disappointment, especially because I normally really enjoy Guisados. I probably won't come back to the Pasadena location. Boyle Heights is so far from me, but I still feel like that's the one location that consistently does it right.
