Tacos 210 was my favorite go to taco place. They had the most life changing Brussel sprout tacos. My husband loved their queso tacos and whatever special they had on the board. We used to go and order from them at least twice a month. I was so happy that after the fires they had moved locations and set up on Woodbury. But then I heard that they were gone. Tacos 210 makes some of the best queso tacos in the city. The tacos are fantastic glad they are back open on fair oaks. The service is nice and friendly it's also very fast and efficient. They have a couple tables and seats on the sidewalk. I highly recommend the queso tacos with both the red and green salsa. Went at around 6pm and thankfully there was easy parking on the street and no line. The tacos were incredibly good. The fish was breaded perfectly with not too much batter and tasted airy and light. The staff was super nice too. You can pay with Venmo or Zelle. This might become our new favorite taco truck! read more

Tacos 210....what happened?!? As of about 3 months ago, the food quality has dropped. My once delicious chicken burritos are now under stuffed with giblet chicken, gloopy rice, and flavorless beans. Even the salsas no longer taste fresh. Tacos 210 used to be my go to place when I didn't feel like cooking and I would relish every bite, but last night when I went I had to force the last bite down simply because I didn't have anything else to eat at home. Let me tell you: I'm so glad I did! These tacos are delicious. I highly recommend the quesatacos (birria was my favorite, but they were all delicious!). Wow ... the ingredients were fresh and the portions were just right. I had a chicken combo, my husband ordered the veggie burrito with potato and kale, and my kids got a quesadilla. My friend picked this truck out for us to try last night. On a street with plenty of parking. This is absolutely my favorite taco truck or restaurant EVER. Their vegan tacos are incredibly good. Mushroom kale tacos on corn tortillas or squash and spinach- so much flavor. Don't be fooled by the good reviews. We ordered 2 Al Pastor tacos and one torta via Uber Eats. Our first order the tacos were burnt chicken with no cilantro/ onions. After calling they offered a future credit (no idea how they'd track that) but we asked for a replacement meal. The second order we had to pick up, the al pastor was dry and the torta had a hard piece of meat that couldn't be chewed. Service was also mid, they didn't seem to care that they messed up the order and they treated the situation like it was an inconvenience. I picked this place because of the positive reviews but it seems like the quality has gone done a lot recently. read more

Me ordered three tacos: asada, chorizo and buche. Thank you for bringing GOOD Vegetarian Taco options to Altadena. My kids and grandkids love it! My favorite are your fried Fish and Shrimp Tacos. I love how you garnish them with a lot of Cabbage etc. Makes me feel like I'm balancing my meal with protein and veggies. Also, we just can't get enough of the super yummy, pickled red onions!!! I normally check my food before I drive away to make sure you've got my order right. Recently, however, I sent my daughter and $50 later, all of our orders were wrong. There was dairy on the non-dairy, the Fish taco was grilled not fried, full of grease with little toppings and the Potato taco shells were over cooked and too hard to enjoy ( Unlike the beautiful ones in your photo). I was so disappointed! Occasionally I've had trouble clarifying my order with the very kind gentleman at the window because of the language barrier. My daughter felt the same. 12/13/2019 I wanted something to eat. I needed something to eat. I could go back to my usual taco truck/taco spot. I saw that this is a really new truck. The quesadilla sounded really good. Not many or any trucks serve birria so that is what I wanted to try. The quesadilla is only $7, I wondered if I would still be hungry after to order tacos. I could see the chef working on my order from the outside. Only because I was the only idiot standing in this cold weather at a taco truck, I know that is my order. This truck is on the side street called Ventura in front of Baja Ranch Market while watching cars pass by on Fair Oaks. I was surprised my order is called so quickly. He told me that the quick way to make the quesadilla is to grill the cheese in order to melt it and put a crust to it. The chef tells me the truck is a partner of Tacos el Pollo on Rosemead and Colorado but this is so much better. When I have a hankering for a taco, this is where I should come for the fixings. For the longest time I drove by the 210 Tacos truck almost every day to visit my sister who lives four blocks away from the truck. I am local too. Each time I drove by the truck I saw long lines, specially on the weekends. I said to myself, "this truck always has long lines so the food must be good." One day two years ago I finally decided to stop and order myself some food. I ordered a carne asada burrito and birria queso-tacos. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and I became a regular customer. Sometimes I ordered food three times a week. Around late summer 2023 I noticed that the food quality started to go downhill. The carne asada burrito's had mostly rice and the little meat it did have was poor quality. It had a lot of connective tissue. The rice always seemed to be under cooked and no salt. The pico de gallo had seemed old and had no taste. Before I could taste the onions, cilantro and lime juice. The birria in the tacos had no taste and just tasted like meat. Before you could taste all the seasoning associated with birria. I kept going to 210 Tacos because I understand that sometimes restaurants drop the ball a little bit and bounce right back. This was not the case and I kept getting the same results. I understand that the inflation has caused the prices of food to go up a lot but that is not an excuse for restaurants to serve bad food. A good restaurant will raise their prices but keep their high standards for the food that they serve. For example, I love Zankou Chicken. About a year an a half ago, the price of a two shishkabob skewer plate combo was $13.99. I recently went to Zankou and the same plate is now $19.00, a significant price increase from a year and a half prior. However, the quantity and quality of that plate has not going down one bit. It was as delicious as the first time that I tried it. I still go to Zankou. I do not mind paying the extra money because I know that I am getting quality food that I enjoy. When I started going to 210 a carne asada burrito was $8.00 and they were always delicious. The last time time I got a burrito from 210 (about 5 months ago) it was $10.00 and it was mostly filled with tasteless rice. I do not think that its just me that has noticed because I still drive by their truck almost every day to visit my sister. I no longer see the long lines as I use to see in the past. Usually there is no one in line or one or two people. There has been two taco stands that opened up nearby on the sidewalk that may have taken some of their customers. However, I believe that the decline in customers that I have noticed is because the quality of their food has gone down. I feel bad writing this review because I liked the guys that worked the truck a lot. They were always friendly and polite. read more

SO good. I came here on a "diet" and really had to limit myself to "only" two tacos and a piece of quesadilla. If it wasn't for this said "diet" I probably could have ate out the entire truck because it's THAT delicious. You know if it's good tacos when the smell lingers in your car days after you had your meal, lol! And it's always a plus,plus,plus when my kids enioy the food as well so you know I'll be back (sans "diet"). My safe choices of al pastor and asada meat did not disappoint.
