Hi, I recently visited this restaurant. and just wanted to give a point scale review on my experience. Also I would like to share some notes as well. 1 being needs improvement, 10 being excellent Parking: 5.5 /10 shared lot that gets pretty busy but not too bad depending on the time of day. Outside appearance: 4.5/10 could use some TLC but they make it presentable. Chairs and tables c.o.d use a upgrade. Wish there was more seating. Staff service: 5.5/10 they couldn't really understand me and I could barely understand them but they got my order down. Food and restaurant experiance notes: for a quick bit to eat this is a perfect spot. The food is good and well prepared. Dont plan on eating there not many empty seats and keep in mind that its outdoor seating only. Just your basic taco joint here. The dollar taco days is what I would recommend. read more

WE LOVED THE ASADA TACOS ... but they screwed me over, on my order of 22 tacos. This establishment isn't even in my area. Keep in mind, it was my daughters graduation day, it was very late. Tired & hungry We wanted a latenight snack. We're in Whittier, Tacos Giyo is in Paramount. Not incredibly far but the inconvenience of driving there twice (2 times) for the wrong tacos; ruined our night. Cash doesn't grow on trees, my $41.14, paid for 22 tacos of the wrong meat! Twice (2 times) I ordered 22 Asada tacos; I was given al pastor. I arrived home, immediately called them to let them know. I drove back. I artived at the location. The guy had replacement tacos packed. I trusted him. They even allowed me to donate the initial wrong order... i get home, to find , again al pastor tacos... i wanted to die. I calked the next day , the young lady answering for her manager was aggressive and confrontational. I meant to go back ... its been 12 days i still have the bad tacos in the ridge and the receipt... Good but not great burritos. I had the Birra and it was semi-dry in texture. They do stuff it with all the goodies that you expect in a burrito. Maybe if I visit there again I'll ask them to put some sauce on it. The prices are good and they do accept major credit/debit cards. There's an eating area out doors. If you're looking for street tacos, this place is an excellent choice. For $10 you get four tacos, rice, beans and a drink. Omg the rice and beans are delicious. I am Hispanic I know good beans vs Rosarita canned beans. I wish i can give this place a higher review, but sadly I cant. This place has amazing tacos and breakfast burritos. In fact I have returned multiple times for just that... Sadly my last meal here where the Chilaquiles for breakfast. They were absolutely terrible! The tortilla thats supposed to be used are chips that are doused in extremely hot(temperature) sauce to soften them. I dont mind this so much but the tomato sauce was not good at all and flavor less. THE WORST PART is that i got sick to my stomach!... 30 minutes after eating. BUT did i learn my lesson!? NO! I figured i would give this place one more shot because the tacos and burritos were so good. About 1 month later i returned and ordered the dreaded chilaquiles... Same terrible presentation and flavorless tomato sauce. To top it all off... I GOT SICK AGAIN!!! Work was terrible the next few days. Because of this, I decided I could not eat here again. I gave them a 3/5 stars because the breakfast burrito and the tacos were so good and I had eaten them many times before and never got sick. After hearing my roommate rave about this place, I decided to finally check it out...Downey & Alondra, I know where that is -- next to Tams... For some reason, it didn't hit me until I got there that "yes, this this its that parking lot that is always over-flowing with cars...with a line of cars wrapped around on Downey for the Tams drive thru"...We'll just say, parking was fun :) You then quickly learn as you walk to the window, that there is NO indoor seating...after ordering my cliche Carne Asada burrito, I turned to claim what I hoped was the cleanest bench to sit/eat at. Plenty of carrots, peppers, and salsas, ready for you to pick up...the carrot slices are huge... How was the food? You know you are at a great taco place when you see the al pastor meat, slowly spinning and cooking on a "trompo" (spit)... No trompo, no thank you! Why is this important? Well for starters, On the trompo the al pastor meat (pork) is slowly is cooked and marinated before being thinly sliced off as each order is served. This results in a very tender meat. Which is why I recommend you keep an eye out for this delicious rotating pile of meat if you're looking for an authentic taqueria. Aside from the al pastor, they also have several other tacos to choose from along with tostadas, tortas and burritos. The location is small and parking can sometimes be tedious, due to several other merchants sharing the small parking area. There are a few outdoor tables with sunshades to sit and enjoy your tacos. Orders are taken and served through a "walk-up" window. Overall great tacos, but not much of a dinning area to speak off. Tip: Order to go and enjoy your tacos at home :) read more

Good flavor very good price... only complaint is the wait but I found out you can call in orders so that's no longer an issue. Had the tacos plate the first time- the tacos are pretty good, plentiful meat and the sides are okay. Grabbed a breakfast burrito with chorizo this time. You can tell this place knows the definition of quality. The tortillas had a homemade feel and taste to them. The burrito was packed with awesomeness and I couldn't help but try some of my friends Asada nachos. Ugh if only this place had fries to order cranes Asada fries.
