The staff is very friendly. The food was amazing. Very flavorful and generous portions. I had the Puffy Birria tacos. Yum!! My daughter ordered the asada tots. So crispy and delicious. My husband had the Birria super burrito which didn't make it in the pictures.

Birria ramen on a gloomy day is one of my favorites. Call ahead to place your order, typical wait time is 15 minutes.

Best customer service and fresh food! The quality is great!

WOW! Today was my first day trying taco addiction and I am blown away!! Like absolutely floored with how good this place is! I had to get the Birria taco and it was the best! The tortillas tasted home made and the Birria melted in your mouth! There was a perfect amount of cheese and the consome was PERFECT! Not too thick and not over salty! The Birria ramen was HUGE and I have a pretty healthy appetite, I couldn't finish it!! It was to die for! The ramen noodles were cooked perfectly, the onion and cilantro were the perfect compliment, the squeeze of fresh lime enhanced all those beautiful Birria flavors! I have tried sooo many tacos trucks in Napa and I will give them all their dues.. some are better than others, some are conventionally located near my house but NONE can compare to Taco Addiction! Their prices were seriously the best pricing I've seen in a while and they had great customer service, I advised them I was trying them out for the first time and they wrote on the bag with the Birria "appreciate you trying us out!" Taco addiction has a new customer!!! And I am so excited to try more things on their menu! Go try them out Napa and everyone else who visits!

Let's just say.. this was the 2nd stop for Mexican food in Napa and they didn't disappoint. This truck is the best place for birria anything! They give you a huge side of consume (sometimes I just like to drink it alone) and the flavors are amazing! We "hiked" this morning, then wanted some bomb Mexican food and we def got that! I got 3 queso tacos and 4 birria egg rolls. The egg rolls have cheese too. I'm sitting here stuffed trying to figure out which one I liked better! BOTH! Thank you for feeding my addiction!

The only addiction I want is TACO ADDICTION! Hands down, thee best BIRRIAS around. No joke. I'm not big on chasing food trucks but TA is the only I will. I love when they are local (in my town) because for sure, it's cheat day! The birrias are full of mad flavor and the consume is the absolute best I've ever had. So good you want to eat it like soup! And did I mention the generous size/serving? You get what you pay for!! Not only are they one of my favorite trucks because of their food, but because of their service. They are super super nice. They always take my order with a smile and so patient when I ask about other menu items. Tip- you can text your order (visit their bio on IG- @tacoaddiction.us ) Thank you TA for the delicious food. Until our next meeting.

I've been tracking this food truck down for a while. It finally came to my area and Solano Brewing Company. I got 3 quesabirria tacos with consommé. I also got a El Pastor street taco. All taco's were delicious! I thought the El Pastor was some of the best I've ever had. Really good flavor. I really enjoyed the food. If you ever see this food truck you need to stop and try them out. You'll love them too

Best Birria tacos in the surrounding area! If you haven't had these type of tacos before you're standards are about to be high after this place. The meat itself isn't oily or saturated in the consume (aka the sauce that the meat is stewed in). I've tried birria tacos that lacked flavor, but these had the right amount of sauce with the consume already included ready to dip that crunchy outer exterior. It's loaded with lettuce and dare do I say it so much cheese! The cooks literally grab a handful of cheese and stuff that taco with it. I've also tried the regular tacos that weren't puffy and the quesabirria. My favorite is still the puffy birria tacos that are 2 for $10. Pro-tip- follow their ig account so you know if they are in Napa or Vacaville, have sold out for the day or even better text in your order! They are made to order so it can take 20 minutes or more. I've been lucky enough to go during the middle of the day in the middle of the week so my wait times are short. Support local!

Yesterday's trip to Napa to get my car was 100% worth it to go to Taco Addiction. I first had Taco Addiction when it was parked outside of a tasting room about two years ago. The TA team was making fresh tortillas and I knew it was going to be good. I had never had a handmade, fresh tortilla until then. I have never been a fan of street tacos, as I am not a big onion and cilantro fan, but, these tacos were exceptions. They were savory, they were the perfect merger of texture, salt, acidity and protein. It was a pleasure to eat these tortillas, and it forever shaped my appreciation for the taco, which for much of my life as regulated to Chi-chi's and Taco Bell growing up in the Midwest. While Taco Addiction offers the traditional "street" tacos - and those are delicious - it's the birria and puffy tacos that were on the agenda yesterday. Puffy taco = chalupa. I had the carnitas. It's topped with an excessive amount of cabbage and shredded cheese. I hate cabbage, but it's thinly shredded and basically merges with the cheese and I can't even tell the difference between the two. The taco, made from TA's handmade tortillas, is fried. It's buttery and delicious. The diced steak is savory. So good. I topped it with a mix of red and green salsa. Heavenly. Birria - A beloved special occasion goat stew from Jalisco has become cultish in Southern California, where taco trucks and cafes have replaced the goat (due to it being harder to find) with beef and pushed it beyond stew. TA sells it as stew and with a ramen noodle option (pictured). We also had three birria tacos - folded handmade tacos with cheese baked in, topped with shredded beef, and consommé on the side for dipping. The food we enjoyed is made for hangovers - it is buttery and dare I say greasy. It's made for fans of junk food, it's made for people who want savory pleasures that make you moan and groan so loudly the other patrons look at you and say "I'll have what she's having." If you're looking for healthy options - they have vegetarian and vegan food, and lighter street tacos. Lauren got a vegan burrito to go and he said it was exceptional. Our tacos were pure pleasure. Even more so during a time when we're limited on being out and about. I have been struggling with my lack of in-person socializing with comrades in food and standing at the back of the bed of Lauren's car eating these delicious foods crafted with love, in the sunshine, just reminded me of the value and pleasure I get out of the efforts of chefs and cooks and the happiness I gain out of sharing it with friends and family. Visit Taco Addiction's Facebook page for their weekly calendar. If you're in a rush, call ahead to place your order. We had a 20 minute wait for our food.

Omg!!!!! The birria egg rolls are fire!!!!! The birria is so flavorful and tender, it literally melts in your mouth! The egg roll wrapper is crunchy and delicious!!! That consome is to die for!!! Literally everything I've tried from here has impressed me beyond words. Christina is sooooo nice and they work hard to make sure we get quality, delicious, beautifully flavored food! The truck is so cute. I get a nice home feeling whenever I chat with them on my breaks. Listen, if you haven't tried them yet, YOU NEED TO!!! I can't wait to try the entire menu. I'm grateful they are right outside of my job, although when you're starving and smelling that all day; it's a huge tease hahaha.

We tried the tacos and tostadas, and everything was absolutely delicious. The margarita was fantastic, and the homemade sparkling wine was such a unique and memorable touch. A special shoutout to Vanessa, who truly went above and beyond. She took the time to share the history of the restaurant and the owners' background, which made the experience feel so personal and meaningful. When she found out we were in Napa celebrating our 10-year anniversary, she offered us their homemade sparkling wine, and it was such a thoughtful gesture that we'll never forget. You can tell there is so much heart, history, and passion behind this restaurant. La Cheva is the kind of place that makes you feel welcomed, appreciated, and excited to come back. We can't recommend it enough, and if you're lucky enough to encounter Vanessa, you're in for an extra-special experience. We will absolutely be back!

We visited La Cheve on a Sunday and immediately noticed the long line. That alone didn't discourage…read moreus. We had seen the restaurant featured on Check, Please! Bay Area and had heard plenty of positive reviews, so we were genuinely excited to finally try it. One thoughtful touch is that La Cheve provides umbrellas for guests waiting in line, which is especially appreciated when you're standing outside under the sun. It's a small gesture, but one that shows the restaurant has put some thought into making the waiting experience a little more comfortable. They also offer the option to order coffee through a QR code while waiting in line. I ordered a large black coffee, while my partner ordered a café con leche. Unfortunately, it took about 25 minutes for the drinks to be ready. When we picked them up, the café con leche was served in the same large cup as my coffee--but it was only half full, with roughly a quarter cup of coffee and another quarter consisting of foam. It felt odd drinking from a large half-full cup. Once we reached the counter, though, we were greeted with a warm smile, which was appreciated. We ordered the chilaquiles with an addition of Al Pastor meat, the asada and eggs, the concha French toast, a cronut, the house lager, and a local craft beer. it took approximately an hour and a half from the time we got in line until we were finally seated. By that point, we were more than ready to eat, and despite the long wait, we were still excited to see what the kitchen could do. Unfortunately, that excitement faded quickly once the food arrived. The concha French toast was a big disappointment. The menu description had immediately caught our attention, and we expected something that combined the richness and texture of French toast with the distinctive character of a concha. Instead, we received four small, shortcake-style pieces of bread that were dry and didn't particularly resemble either French toast or a concha. There was no noticeable cinnamon-egg batter, nor any powdered sugar. The dish was served with fresh berries and a side of cajeta ( a craft caramel sauce). The caramel itself was delicious, but it wasn't enough to make up for the lackluster bread. The chilaquiles were the biggest disappointment, and unfortunately, this dish had several execution issues altogether. The tortilla chips were soggy, lacking the texture you'd expect from well-executed chilaquiles. I also ordered the dish with Al Pastor meat, hoping to get a taste of the restaurant's house adobo. Instead, what arrived was a measly portion of tiny pieces and crumbs of meat that appeared to be mostly the remnants from the bottom of the pan. Then there was the oil. There was an excessive amount of it-- so much that a pool had collected in one corner of the plate (see picture below). I actually had to ask the server for extra paper napkins so I could soak up the oil. It was difficult to appreciate the pastor's seasoning or adobo from the oily portion that I was served. The eggs were another example of inconsistency with this plate. I specifically ordered them over medium, expecting set whites with a warm, runny yolk. Instead, the eggs were cooked very unevenly. One was noticeably overcooked, while the other was so thoroughly cooked that the yolk had essentially been obliterated. For a dish that relies on relatively simple ingredients, getting something as fundamental as the eggs right should be a given. My partner's asada and eggs wasn't terrible, per say. However, the dish consisted primarily of bell peppers, a blob of melted cheese, and some asada meat-- the kind you get with regular asada tacos. On the other hand, the biscuits that accompanied the dish, were a genuine highlight. We particularly enjoyed the jalapeño and cheese filling, which gave them a nice savory kick. Thankfully, the bakery items and beer showed us where La Cheve really shines. The house lager was crisp, refreshing, and very enjoyable, while the cronut was downright scrumptious. These were the kinds of items that reminded us why we had been so excited to visit in the first place. Ultimately, La Cheve feels like a restaurant with two very different personalities. The bakery side is impressive, while the savory kitchen needs considerably more attention to execution and consistency. If I were judging the bakery alone, I'd happily give it around 4.5 stars The cronut, biscuits, caramel, and house beer all showed plenty of promise. But the brunch dishes need work--particularly when it comes to texture, portioning, cooking temperatures, and consistency. We came in eager to understand what had generated so much enthusiasm for La Cheve. There are certainly some very good things happening here, and thoughtful touches like the umbrellas for guests waiting in line make a difference. But based on our visit, the kitchen still has some significant kinks to work out before the savory menu matches the promise of the bakery.

So we asked for salsa and chips and settled in. Even though it was incredibly noisy, the lighting and general look was fun and energetic, and there was room enough for a large party of 12, as well as outdoor seating. First the good part: the margarita flight was colorful, and presented on a wooden stand ready to be photographed. The various flavors were good and it was just the right size for sharing. The cocktails in general were good but my margarita tasted syrupy and like it was all mix. A red flag for what was to come. Now the bad: we ordered the massive burrito and a side of Mexican street corn. While the burrito looked impressive on the outside, it was so bad we were truly shocked. The filling was almost all rice with the tiniest amount of loose black beans mixed with some meat-like substance that was flavorless and dry. That was it. We tried to choke down a few bites but it was just a mushy rice bomb not worth the calories or time to eat. Maybe the kitchen ran out of beans and overfilled with rice, and maybe the meat was just whatever they could scrape from a skillet, but there was no excuse for that awful meal especially in Napa. The one plus from the evening was the service. Everyone we interacted with from the door staff to our server was so friendly and never made us feel rushed or that they were too busy to refill water or take away empty glasses etc. Our server was clearly handling a lot of tables but she was so cheerful and upbeat that it really made a truly awful meal a nice evening out regardless. Bottom line: with all the amazing Mexican food in Napa, at every price point and style I'd skip this place and choose one of the many amazing restaurants on the same street.
