This location can never get it right. The first two times we ordered to-go the orders were missing something or completely wrong. The second time I did not realize we were missing a meal until I got home and I had to make the drive back out to receive no sincere apology. Against my better judgment I gave this location a third try. My order was given a pick up time and closer to it I received a texting telling me my order was ready and to head to the location to pick up. When I got there I was told it was just going to be another 5 minutes so I waited inside. 30'minutes later I asked if someone could check on the order. I was told that they were waiting on one more item and it would be another 5 minutes. I sat in my car for 20 before coming inside and asking for a manager. I said I wanted to just cancel my order all together. I can promise you the person who came to speak to me was not management. He walked up and asked the girl at the register what I was waiting for, she told him a chicken sandwich, he walked to the back of the kitchen and walked back up and handed me the item and said sorry about that and then walked away. I went to the taco Mac website and sent an email to complain and never heard back. Tonight we ordered Uber eats. There is another taco Mac we have been using but somehow we accidentally ordered from this location. They completely forgot one whole meal and two sides. It was already a 50-60 minute wait that I paid a little extra for to cut down the wait time so imagine how we felt when we finally get dinner and find out only ones of us is eating. I can't imagine I'm the only one dealing with such a bad experience with this location. My suggestion is to go to the other one that's only a few miles away . read more

I went to Taco Mac today for a couple beers. This is pretty normal for me, but today, I did not get credit for my 2 beers. When I called the manager, Whitney, she said she was unable to either give me credits or a refund for the beers, but I could order them again if I really wanted the credit. I asked if there was anything she could do to help other than this, and she said no, she is not the one in charge (odd, since this was the manager talking)...I need to talk to her manager. Not friendly at all. Service is also a bit slow, which I usually overlook, but with the unwillingness to help, I would not recommend visiting this location. i ordered from this taco mac for take out and i have to say i was really disappointed. the burgers are usually pretty big and very good but the burger i got was so dry and tiny. i also got the nachos which were okay but they werent super good. i ordered this during corona lockdown so maybe they were short staffed or made it differently or something but it was not great. read more

If I could give this restaurant ZERO stars I would. I came to this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. The server Megan was serving us drinks all night after checking ID's, and on our 7th beer the manager Tess would not accept our valid Georgia ID. She claimed it was at her discretion to accept the valid ID or not, even after having it checked and approved by another server and being served 7 drinks prior. I asked her to please scan the ID as it was valid and expired in 2024, but refused to do so. This was absolutely unprofessional and straight disrespectful. The only reason this Taco Mac is getting 4 stars instead of 3 is because of Bruce. Bruce is amazing. Bruce is the soul of this place and my husband and I usually end up waiting for one of his tables to free up even if there is no wait for the rest of the restaurant. Bruce embodies the kind of quality and service I came to expect out of Taco Mac after being a server there (different location). In fact, ever since Taco Mac was sold as a company, the quality of service, food, and cleanliness has slipped. As a former Taco Mac server (back in the golden days) my entire crew would have been fired for the cleanliness and service practices that I see at almost every location that I go to (Bruce's service is the exception. He is awesome!). I am not sure if it was an attempt to revitalize the image of Taco Mac or the fact that Fred left, but the beer selection is not what it use to be and the food slowly began to lose it's identity. Other than the wings, there is nothing really worth it on the menu any more. The famously amazing salsa is usually pretty bland, the chips are often too greasy and stale. The burgers are still ok, but it just so happens that they are cooked to only one temperature - medium. Yes, I said it. So, dear Taco Mac, please step up your game. No matter how many times this place has failed me, I will keep coming back because of convenience in location. The food here is not spectacular, the atmosphere is loud and hectic, they regularly show prime time sports games, and the servers are always too busy serving other tables. If this sounds like your kind of place, then you're right at home my friend. I've had my order messed up here countless amounts of times, or it may have just never came out. For some reason, it's always me where they either forget to put my order in or they can't remember to leave out the beans. I offer them 3 stars because no matter how many times they mess up, they always redeem themselves by comping my meal. They have a seasonal menu that has experimental items, the more popular ones become staples. My usual go to is the grilled chicken nachos. I've been a patron of this establishment for over 14 years. I even have a table dedicated to me. and I am responsible for 41 per month people patronizing the place. on this day one of my table mates was having a conversation with our server. I was not actually involved in that conversation. but at one point 5he server was telling my table mate about a problem that caused hI'm to make a comment about cpr, at which point I wised off that I was sure mouth to mouth could be arranged. I said it to no one in particular and the server chuckled and walked away. about 10 or 15 minutes later someone on my right said to me that she was going to have to ask me to leave. I turned and looked at her and it was the bartender. I was dumbfounded and did not get up to leave, at which point she became downright abusive. we all (3) slowly gathered our personal stuff and rose to leave. we still had not been given a rational response to our questions. The manager and bartender said the server had filed the complaint about our language. I had to use the bathroom before I left. When I came out the server approached me and asked what was going on. when I told her we had been told she had complained about our language and we had been asked to leave she vehemently denied it and went to the kitchen, at which point the manager and bartender exited and confronted me to leave. They refused to acknowledge that she was denying the accusation. Then a different server, one that the other was training, came by and was pointed out as the one had actually filed the report. I didn't even know she was present at the time in question for she was standing on my right and I'm blind in my right eye. That's why I had to turn to see who it was when the bartender approached me on my right to ask me to leave. The manager refused to listen to me, the real server, or my table mates. We were told the trainee was raped at one point in her life and took exception to the "mouth to mouth" reference. So, all people, me, my tablemates, and the 41 people that are patrons because of me have left. May I suggest you do too? They clearly arent interested in the truth nor our business. No stars-taking my elderly father out for a bite...we waited too long to be seated, lost the host because she walked away too fast, bypassed to the bar, bartender took too long, and after sitting without drinks for 15 minutes we just left. It seemed as if they were trying to train people. The host asked the trainee, "what would you do next?" Good food and service. My mom and I visit this Taco Mac anytime we're craving nachos or wings. All our experiences have been pleasant. During our most recent visit, some of the food wasn't as fresh, but our server was the best! She took care of us with wonderful positivity! [DRINK] Beer is one of the first things that come to mind when I hear "Taco Mac". They have a great selection of beers. You'll definitely find something you enjoy. [FOOD] I always order the Grilled Chicken Nachos (with the chips on the side), and Original Buffalo Wings. - Grilled Chicken Nachos: I don't care if Taco Mac is a chain. They have some of the best nachos in Georgia for a decent price. The nachos are topped with everything you need - chicken, queso, black beans, jalapenos, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa (on the side). If you get the chips on the side, your chips won't get soggy and your fingers won't get as messy. Sadly, on our most recent visit, they ran out of guacamole and had no substitute... It was still good. - Wings: I remember I took my friend to Taco Mac once, and he exclaimed that it was the best hot wings he had ever had. I don't know about "the best", but they do have some delicious wings. There are an assortment of flavors available if you don't like buffalo. - Shrimp Avocado & Mango Salad: My mom was feeling especially hungry, so we ordered a salad. It was pretty disappointing, and we had to send it back, because half the greens were wilted. Not very fresh. When they remade it, the greens were better, but still not the freshest. I would recommend steering away from their salads. - Chocolate Stout Pie: Holy moly! This dessert is delicious! I got a choice of a free dessert for my birthday, so I ordered the pie on a recommendation from our server. It was amazing! [SERVICE] The service was wonderful! Due to the issues with missing guacamole and the shriveled salad, we called over our server more often than usual. She always addressed issues with a smile and without frustration. My mom and I talked about how great she was near the end of our meal. Her positive attitude made up for all other issues we had. Honestly I feel bad having to write this review because Taco Mac is one of my favorite restaurants, but I would be doing you a disservice if I didn't share my experience. Tonight was one of the worst experiences that I've ever had in a restaurant. First, my husband ordered a salad with ranch. The salad came out with no utensils and it had blue cheese instead of ranch (my husband HATES blue cheese). We told our server and he said that he would take it back. I told him not to worry about it, that I would eat it instead. Later he returned and told us that the cook said that we were lying, that he had given us ranch, not blue cheese. I politely assured the server that it was blue cheese and pointed out the blue cheese chunks. Another server came and confirmed that it was indeed blue cheese. However, our server felt the need to show the cook and proceeded to take my plate and stick his fingers in it to taste it, despite the fact that I was telling him that I still wanted to eat the salad. Nevertheless, he took my salad and later told me that the cook was too busy to look at it. Instead he brought my husband a replacement salad (this time with ranch) but the salad was half the size of the first one. My husband mentioned it to the server and the server confirmed that he also noticed how small it was. The server said that he had brought it to the cook's attention and that the cook said that a lot of people had been ordering that particular salad and that was why is was so small. My husband, son, and I had also ordered wings with extra ranch. When I wings came out they were lukewarm to the touch. My husband sent his wings back, as hot wings should be....well, HOT. I've eaten at Taco Mac, although not at this particular location, more times than I can remember and I've NEVER received lukewarm wings. Most wings that order are so hot that I have to request a fork to eat them. My husband waited patiently with my daughter, whose food didn't come out until long after ours, as my son and I ate our lukewarm wings (minus the extra ranch I ordered). Finally, our server brought my husband a new plate of wings....that were lukewarm AGAIN. Then the server brought my daughter's food, which was hot, but he never brought a straw for her drink so we had to ask another server. Then I ordered a drink for myself and I didn't get a straw either. Not that a straw is such a big deal, but by this point, every little thing was setting me off. My husband was completely disgusted and told the server to take back the lukewarm wings. Finally the bill came and we had been charged for the second salad that the server had stuck his fingers in and taken back AND a chocolate milk that was supposed to come with my daughter's kids meal. Thinking that I really didn't want to write a review and dog out Taco Mac (because, in general, I DO love Taco Mac), I decided to speak with the manager on duty. Although it felt good to get it off my chest, I really got the impression that he could care less. Bottom line: this place is a busy restaurant with decent food, great beer, lots of televisions showing various live sporting events, and friendly staff. Everyone is happy while they are here. We stopped by this Taco Mac because we were in the area around 10:30pm and were looking for a place that was still open for dinner, and their kitchen is open until 2am! I've always been satisfied with Taco Mac's food. It's not gourmet, but it's solid sports bar food. We usually get two beers and share the TMAC Queso (this one is great! Ask for extra flour tortillas) and one other entree. Wings are solid. Sign up for their Brewniversity card. It's free and keeps track of which beers you've had. Once you accumulate a certain number, you get free stuff! Also, Thursday nights are Pint Nights, starting at 5:30 (or 5?) You get a free pint glass with your beer. This Taco Mac lacks attention to detail. My mozzarella cheese sticks came w/o marinara sauce and when asked for the sauce the server said. "We don't have any and we're supposed to get some soon, we've been out for a while". I let the server know that the menu states w/Marinara sauce and I was really looking forward to it. She then took the mozzarella sticks back to the kitchen because there was no sauce and she apologize. Minutes later she bring the same mozzarella sticks back and said my mistake we did have some marinara sauce, and once I tasted it it was straight up salsa dip. That wasn't the main entrée so I wasn't so bothered by the mistake but once our food came it was wrong also, cold and undercooked. Keep in mind that the mozzarella sticks went back to the kitchen and after trying to fake like I was satisfied I asked for the check and would you believe the mozzarella sticks were there on the bill. The young lady that was our server seemed a little confused so I did ask for the manager to not cause any commotion. The manager took the receipt brought it back with the same price and then he said he would need my card again to run another transaction because he would need to print a new receipt this is getting quite lengthy but I think you can see what I'm getting at when it comes to attention to detail and lack of customer service as well as food quality and manipulating customers but the choice is yours I would stick to the beer or any spirits from the bar and stay away from a fine sports bar experience read more

This is, by far, my favorite Taco Mac! And it's not my favorite because it's close to my house... LOL! That is part of the reason though! The majority of the time I go to the bar for a couple of beers and some decent eats. I try to go when DAVE is there. He is by far the best bartender. Always nice and attentive. Being part of the "Brewniversity," Dave will take a look at my list and suggest a beer (or several) that he thinks I will like. He has always been dead on so I trust him. So I came here with a friend and it was very nice! The service is great the boneless wings are finger licking good!!! The is a huge beer list. This is a place to go to when you just don't want to cook and you've had a hard day or work. The second time I ate Taco Mac was delivery through yelp and I would honestly not recommend it because food comes in cold and they messed up my order. This Taco Mac location is second only because my heart lies at the Windward location (and I live a mile away from the Suwanee one). I am a complete beer-snob, and Taco Mac is the only restaurant locally that sells my beer, so alas I return en mass. I like going to a restaurant and you see the same servers who know you by name, and know exactly what you order. To me, it's a sign of that "local bar" similar to the Cheers television show. These people cook my food exactly how I ask, and the servers are always very friendly regardless of the rush. This location personifies what a suburban chain bar/restaurant should be with quality food that is consistently good. My ONLY negative point would be the area in which to wait, but they've done well with what they have. read more

One of my favorite place to grab a set of wings. Taco Mac has been changing their menu and a plate settings so much and play around with their menu a lot, it feels like a new place every time I visit. It's like a doubled edged sword; where I will feel like I am at a new restaurant, I also feel like I am ordering same dish all the time. Why bother when you try something and next time you go to eat that dish, they were 'seasonal.' It's a great place to get a wing though. Me and my friends always come to this taco mac after work. The food is always delicious and the service is always wonderful. Everyone is super friendly and the place is a nice environment. The last time we went, our server Sydney was one of the best servers I have ever had in my entire life. She was friendly, and attentive. Love this place! My name's on the wall. Beverly & Dave are two of the "most famous" bartenders here. They are both very personable, and make the trip worth while. The Mall of Georgia location is actually closer to me, but I keep coming back to this location mainly because of the staff. The beer university encourages and rewards you to try beers that might have otherwise been outside of your comfort zone. it's a fun way to pass the time and find a few new favorites. The food here is quite good, and certainly a few notches above your standard "bar-fare". The wings are a legend in the local area. If you are in to football or baseball, Taco Mac might become your living room during the sports seasons. read more

In my area this Taco Mac is one of the few choices to eat after 10 pm. That said it earns 1 star for location and extended evening hours. Its downhill from there. They have servers falling all over each other so they are well staffed. However they must be horribly managed because every time I have been seated it takes forever to get waited on. Tonight I sat outside on their patio. While waiting for a server, I noticed there were people seated at 5 tables. Everyone had a different server. 3 of them walked by, but never offered to wait on me. One table had 3-4 off shift servers sitting at it. Even more servers walked by to visit their co-workers but didn't acknowledge me. After 15 minutes I went to the hostess and asked her who was waiting on the outdoor patio area. She asked if I had checked in with her and I said "I am now". I was re-seated and waited another 5 minutes before a server arrived. No apologies, just "How are you tonight?". When the food arrived the fries were warm, but the chicken tenders were cold. After waiting so long I ate them anyway. My advice to the owners of Taco Mac is this: You need to seriously revamp your management and approach to customer service. Too many employees running around doing nothing but confusing themselves and customers. I am done with this place. After 10 pm McDonalds is a better choice. read more

I love this place!!! I almost always get the nacho's all the way but not all the way. I have them put the chips on the side... It's Amazing! Their beer selection is really great. They have amazing burgers as well. I've heard their wings are good as well but haven't tried them. If your looking for something differant to eat, go here! If you're looking for drinks and sports viewing, this is a great place with a great environment. A lot of beers on tap and TVs at all angles. The majority of the food is your typical greasy, American, but they do have a few healthier options. I ordered the shrimp wrap. C. Service is seldom good unless youre a drinker, which in that case you might be too drink to care one way or the other.
