Very expensive! Food is ok nothing to write home about. Mostly a drinking place and drinks are higher than other places.

We happened to come by on opening day lunch and this place is fantastic. Erica was our waitress and service was outstanding. Food arrived within 15-20 minutes of ordering, and the atmosphere is great. My wife and I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and southwest wrap, would highly recommend. Thank you TacoMac for a great experience! read more

Taco Mac McDonough - Buffalo Chicken Sandwich - amazing - American Near Me - McDonough, Georgia

My food overall was not good... the ranch was chunky my tacos were not good .

Went in for lunch today. We got there just before the lunch crowd came in and got our drinks, appetizer and meals ordered no problems. 45 minutes later, no food or appetizer. A waitress came by and asked how everything was going. We stated that it seemed a little too much time had passed and no food. She said she would check on our order. She quickly came back with an appetizer and it was not what we ordered. She sort of argued with us and took the food back and quickly brought back the correct appetizer Question, if she could get our correct appetizer this fast, why couldn't we get it in a timely manner to begin with? More time passed and the group behind us got their food even though they came in 15 minutes after us. When we made our frustration known to the waitress she argued and blamed the kitchen. Long story short, the waitress ignored us after this and the manager, Ken got involved. Ken apologized for the mix-up and comped our order. I understand that mistakes happen but the waitress could have owned the problem instead of blaming others and ignoring us. The food was descent and I will be back. Hopefully I will get a little better service. read more

Service is SLOWWWW. Not the first time I've visited this location. Silverware, waters, condiments, sauces arrive 15 minutes after the already cold food comes out. read more

Awful service. Waited 20 minutes before our server greeted us. Took an hour for our server to take our order and another hour to get our food. On top of literally everything being wrong. She kept disappearing and we couldn't get any refills or sauces. Was not a great experience. read more

First and foremost this is a great place, we frequent the McDonald's location at least three times a week when Chelsea is bartending or any of the other bartenders is bartending it's a great establishment they welcome you they speak to you they serve you. Today my experience in this location was horrible sit there for 10 minutes with the snooty bartender they won't even look up at acknowledge you're sitting there without a drink. I sit down and location for me and my wife she comes in snatches the menu out from in front of where my wife is sitting in the hands of somebody else as if my wife wasn't using that menu we order food every time we're in there when I confronted her about it and her snooty attitude she informs me that somebody else want to menu my wife just gone to the restroom to wash her hands prior to ordering her food to eat as we do every time we're at this location. I can say after the experience today I will never be back in another taco Mac.its a very sad thing to see this treatment to us or anybody else. We know this is NOT THE SERVICE THE STRIVE FOR. If this is the way they allow there customers to be treated our suggestion is not to go. There is a Millers Ale house opening very soon and with this type of treatment they will lose a lot of business... Just Sad... read more

Worst service ever ! When I arrived they were a little busy. But their employees were eating in the back while they were serving food. I got two spoons of macaroni & cheese for 4$ which seemed to be a rip off to me! When I received my food it was cold. Got to my car and noticed they forgot part of my order so I had to go back in there to get the rest. And after all the the food was definitely not up to par. Very disappointed!! read more

My family and I like coming to this restaurant on the weekend to enjoy the breeze outside and our food. If you love beer, this is the place for you! My husband is starting his journey of beer and this is his restaurant to try a different beer with various food selections. The food is delicious especially the tacos. read more

This place is the worst. I called ahead with a party of 30 coming from a soccer tournament and was told that even though they don't take reservations that we would be accommodated. We arrived at 7:45 and are told they were setting up our table. We could see a large party being set up on the main dining room floor. After 15 minutes we go to check in and see another party seated at the table set for us. At this point we were told that unfortunately it would be at least another 45 minutes before we would be seated. The front of house was abrupt and rude. F minus. read more

My daughter and I tried out Taco Mac one Saturday afternoon after doing some shopping. We were seated immediately and our server was prompt. We tried the wings and fries, and they had pretty good flavor. The only drawback was that I asked for crispy wings and they weren't quite what I expected. Overall, our visit was pretty good. Taco Mac is pretty much a typical bar food restaurant. Great for a weekend hangout with family and friends. read more

I have given this place four opportunities to get it right and they just can't seem to do it. The food is good and how can you screw up beer. But it's the service and attitude that ruins every visit. Sometimes the servers try but don't get support from the kitchen. Other times they just don't seem to care. They act like they are supportive of everything local but I couldn't even watch the Braves game on two occasions. I asked to watch it on one of their forty televisions and they couldn't figure it out. No explanation. Seems like support for the local team shouldn't have to be asked for. The first three visits resulted in talks with the manager. Don't think I'll even waste my time tonight. Just cut my losses and try another establishment next time. read more

I came at 11:40 and they told me they were close they were rude asf and in Sunday's they close at 12pm. They gave no type of explanation and just closed the door. If it was for me they'd get no stars at all read more

Love to eat here! Very clean restaurant and the food is great! The music and TVs get a little to loud and I find myself trying to speak over them which I don't like to do... other than that it's great!! read more

Always enjoyed a Taco Mac restaurant until we went into this one. Ordered a picture of Mic Ultra and not sure what they brought us but that wasn't it. We asked for 30 wings and our slow waitress brought them in like 5 minutes which was weird and said "I know these are small so we're gonna give you 10 more" when I picked one up it was hard and barely warm . Obviously they had been sitting out for a while probably returned by another customer for being too small cause they were the smallest wings I've ever seen. And if you're wondering we returned them also. Very disappointing visit read more

We have been to this Taco Mac a number of times and have always had pretty good service; however, tonight we had the best service we've ever had. In fact, our waiter may be the best we've had anywhere. Darius was so kind and attentive. Our drinks stayed topped off, he consistently checked to see if we needed anything and let me say again.... he was just kind and pleasant. It made our visit so enjoyable. If you go to Taco Mac, see if Darius s working. . (Just FYI... I don't know Darius or anyone that works at this restaurant.... we just felt compelled to write this review because we were so impressed with him as a waiter.). read more

I like it enough. The service is 95% good. The food is typical American/Sports bar stuff, it's tasty, and comes in copious portions.

Spinach dip too to die for. Buffalo chicken tater tots yummy. I am always seated as soon as I walk in. Tv's everywhere. Love it!

I have eaten here three times. The first two were amazing. The third left a lot to be desired. Honestly pitiful. If it was our first visit we would not return. We love the boneless wings and drink selection so we will be back. I just hope it will be like our first couple visits. read more

Was not the biggest fan of there wings were kinda dry and tasted old the bone in wings, the roasted wings were a lil better, the fries were ok, i was not a fan for the ranch at all..... the buffalo chicken was my fav. Out of all of it but i would come again read more

Racist waitress!! Came with my family and the woman who seated us was nice and polite, everything was going great until our waitress came to take our order, she was a tiny Asian woman with a bad attitude! We weren't sure about the menu or what to order so when we asked for recommendation she rolled her eyes and quickly pointed at what was 'popular' like we were wasting her precious time. She then went to take care of another table and didn't seem to have the same attitude as she did with my family, I honestly did not feel welcomed and lost my appetite. read more

I went here for my birthday and they weren't busy at all and It took forever to get our food out. The waitress was very nice and very apologetic but It was a crazy wait time to get our food when there weren't that many people in there. I might go back again to to try It one more time read more

I really like taco Mac and the seemingly endless taps but the one in McDonough has been open for about 2 years. Been here a hundred times. Im guessing it's been a steady decline since opening day. Waited 10 minutes tonight on someone to seat us and finally picked a table on our own. Several minutes later we were scolded for seating ourselves. By the way - at least 20 tables are empty. Our waitress is great. But she stands at the bar for several minutes waiting for bar tenders to pour a draft beer. Not sure what will open in this location next. read more

The wings were recommended by one of the waiters. Their sauces range from the light side to hot. I had the ginger sesame and habanero bbq which were both tasty. I found the bartenders to be less than friendly and not attentive to refills. I could also hear that they were out of several drink options. All in all, the food was good but they lack on service. read more

At first I wasn't going to write a review but only decided to never go back. The customer service is great, no harm there, it was the food. I ordered 10 piece Korean black garlic wings with fries. The wings were undercooked and under seasoned. At least 4 to 5 of them were still flapping. The ones that I did eat, I could barely taste anything on them. The fries were fine. Everything else I threw away. read more

This was the worst restaurant experience of my entire life. We had to wait four times longer than they told us, we had five people in our party and everyone's order was wrong. The staff were all blaming each other. Finally, we got our bill and it was completely wrong. read more

Wings are okay. Drinks are overpriced, but there's a huge selection of them. Service is slow. Sauces are on point though. Convenient for late night food that's of better quality than your fast food joint. If only the service improved it'd be a place worth frequenting more often. The food isn't terrible, it's just for the price I've definitely had better. read more

I believe in giving credit where credit is due. As a business owner I believe that you should always acknowledge good service publicly. When you think of good service, a chain restaurant usually doesn't come to mind. However Taco Mac exceeds expectations ever time. Chris and I became regulars during the Hockey finals. The manager always made sure we had the table in front of the big screen wall and that the Preds were on with full volume as soon as the game started. (You have to remember, this is not a hockey town OR Nashville) During that time, Taco Mac was brand new and experiencing the usual growing pains a newly opened restaurant goes through. If your ever worked in food service you know what I'm talking about. Even with that, the good was and continues to be great... every time. Consistently great. The management team is on point. We've gotten to know a few of them and they always make their way over to say hi. The place is loud and busy and perfect as we are a loud and busy family. My kids love it. We love it for a night without the kids. If we are there to watch a game, we let the waitress know that we will be there all night and to just check on us from time to time and even with that said, I've never had an empty glass (isn't that the true measure of a great server?) We've become acquaintances with a server (now manager) that actually has never waited on us but always seeks us out to say hi. She's moved up to management and was excited to let us know. (She really couldn't be more adorable, so that makes me feel old.. lol) My point is that McDonough is FLOODED with restaurants that are just restaurants. Nothing special, familiar faces. However, Taco Mac has hit gold with their new location and made it a "neighborhood place" in a neighborhood saturated with just "places" Keep up the good work and we will keep coming back! read more

Service was horrible. I had 4 beers by the time our food finally came out. Complained to a manager, but didn't even get any apologies from him. Oh well, at least we tried it. My wings were so dang dry too. I ended up eating only 3 of the 10 I ordered. read more

Had a lengthy conversation with the server about the wings, I wanted breaded wings, the server was adamant that the wings are breaded. They're not. Not a happy customer. read more

I have been visiting this location for years now but my last visit was by far the worst. We arrived at 8:45 ...We waited an hour to receive a table . We were seated by the manager so that was a red flag in my mind. We sit down it takes the original waitress of the table at least 10 min to come greet us. She took our drink order and food order at the same time cause we were sitting long enough to know what we wanted. We only ordered a 30 piece chicken and 4 fries ....We even ordered an appetizer. It was another 15 min before we received our drinks an they were fountain drinks an horrible so we sent those back an asked for water . By this time the appetizer has arrived. We have eaten the appetizer I noticed the tables around us still haven't received food and they were there before us by this time it's 11:30pm , I finally call the manager over like hey we have been waiting for over an hour and half no food has came an the waitress haven't provided an update. She tells us all the cooks has walked out and she doesn't know when we can get our food. We waited the entire time there an still didn't eat by the time we left everything had closed read more

I would give it 1/2 a star if i could to keep it short and sweet i was very very disappointed with the drinks and the food and got sick after eating the meal the advertiser's were ok everthing else was a bust definitely wont be going back. read more

Dont waste your time. Iwas seated at a table that had cold air pouring down. Asked for another seat, took 15 minutes to move me to thr open booth beside me. First beer came quick, sandwich took almost 30 minutes. Chicken was cold, mushrooms were cold. Not much taste overall. Eat most before 2nd beer came. I asked why the service was slow, answer was keg change. Server would only ask if thi gs were okay right as i was taking a bite. Server training needs to address this. Server spent most of her ti.e talking to one booth with her back to the rest of the tables she was asigned. I'll spend my dollarz elsewhere. read more

I have been visiting T-Macs for quite a while now, enjoy the ever changing beer selection and the atmosphere. They do hit the mark on atmosphere here with more tv's than you can watch, service was good even with a new server working our table. I would give this part of the experience 5 stars. The kitchen on the other hand was a 1 - 1 1/2, ordered a small cheese dip as an appetizer. The tortilla chips boarded on burnt and the soft shells were not, the only soft portion was the very center. My wife ordered a flatbread pizza and I had the wings, wings were good but did ask for extra crispy and they were not. Her pizza was a undercooked and so soggy it could not be picked up by hand, it also had so much Basil on top is looked like the lid came off the shaker. After working in kitchens in the past we don't send food back, this was not at a high rush time but 4PM on Saturday with half capacity restaurant maybe half the kitchen was on break. Come on T- Mac McDonough I know your new but you can do better than this, we will be back for another try in the future please get your kitchen in shape! read more

I wasn't too impressed by the food. I had a chicken avocado sandwich that was disappointing. The baked Mac and cheese---easy Mac is better. The Parmesan wings--we couldn't taste much seasoning. The honey chipotle wings were good. The service was very good. read more
