Walked into restaurant at approx 5:10 p.m. and no one was at front desk so I proceeded to the bar. Sat down and the bar and observed 4 other customer (3 in the process of leaving), and 3 employees behind the bar talking with no acknowledgment. After sitting for a few, I made eye contact with one employee who spoke but proceeded to exit out the back. After sitting for 15 minutes with no one even removing interested in taking my order, I left. What has to be done to receive customer service these days!? SMH read more

The service was great, however they have some children that like to play with folks food working in the kitchen. Will not return to this location! read more

Just went there and there were more than 5 tables in the main area open and at least 5 tables in the bar area. There were 2 people waiting in the wait area and we were told it would be a 25 minute wait. Three hostesses standing at front desk. We left. read more

I've been to Taco Mac on two different occasions and I honestly don't understand what all the hype is about.... The customer service is absolutely horrible and the food is mediocre. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because of the drinks. The drinks are awesome.. nice and strong. If I ever go back it will be to sit at the bar and drink. That's it! No food.. No customer service expectations. Some of the cons are: Parking! there's always somewhere to park. Also, there's a lot of seating inside and out. The wait time to be seated is never long. read more

I am a taco Mac fan! Every time I come to Atlanta I eat at one at least 75% of the time! Never been at this location before it was my first time here! It wasn't crowded and of course they had the games going cause it was SUNDAY!!! Our server was Danielle and she was super sweet and we received our food in a decent wait time! I just recently cut out chicken, beef, and pork so it was hard not getting the roasted wings I normally get! But I tried the turkey burger with broccoli and it was amazing! Fresh and juicy and the broccoli is always good if you never tried it you need to!!! Thanks for awesome service Danielle! read more

Food was good but took me ver an hour to get it. Server was friendly but slow. If you are hungry go somewhere else. Lunch should never take an hour and a half. read more

My go to for quesadillas and cheesesteaks the tater tots are unmatched. The perfect amount of seasoning and the key lime pie is the best! So sad to see if taken off DoorDash but I will be visiting soon it's not too far from me and the drink menu is enticing can't wait to try. read more

This would be my second time to this location. This time I was a little sad. We sat down quick it was trivia night super loud couldn't hear yourself talk to guests at the table. Our table had the extenders which made our drinks lean at the ends. Our server took our drink orders and then came back about 10 minutes later and then our dinner order which took waaaay too long. And food came out in increments rather then at once for the table. Our friends watched us eat about 10 minutes before they got their food finally. My wings were dry. I got the 10 piece with three mile island and my wings were cold not hot. My 2 tacos came the steak fajita had no sauce on it was a little dry. My husband got the bones less wings and a burger he asked for medium came in at well done and his boneless wings had too much batter on it. For things to be frozen fried and then a burger shouldn't have taken no more then 30 minutes on ticket times. I had to ask where our food was. We got there at around 7:50pm didn't get our tables full meal until almost 9pm. By the time we finished eating and finalizing everything it was nearly 10:15pm. Brother in law got the cheesecake which came to him luke warm and not cold and it looked like someone threw strawberry syrup all over it. The dessert plates were hot. Maybe frozen cakes microwaved for quicker service. Definitely won't be back. Best thing here would be the beer. read more

Fish and chips is my go to. I was hungry today and I am paying for it now. My stomach is confused. between the grease and the salt. Could not eat the taters they were fried tooooo hard. The fish was soaked in grease. This food was horrible. It is such a shame that this busy city does not have a restaurant that serves quality food. Fish and chips read more

The service here SUCKS! It took over 30minutes for our food to come out and werent even that many patrons in the restaurant; It was 2pm on a Monday afternoon. The food was ok, I've had better with less wait time. read more

Great service. Food is not what you would expect from the original Taco Macs in and around Atlanta. No patron, can't mix taco and wing flavors, out of cheese sticks and mac-cheese is boxed dry Kraft. I've been here several times due to the location but I will drive another 3 exits to get the good food and service. No flexibility in ordering is a turn off and the wait staff apologizes for it and agrees that they should listen to the customer more but tends to stick to their corporate decision instead. read more

Mediocre at best. I ordered the fried buffalo chicken sangwich. I hero bread, a little lettuce and tomato, buffalo sauce and a larger than the bread piece of fried chicken. Sounds good right? Tried to close the bread but couldn't. Still ok. So i start to cut the chicken and bread, but no knife. Ordered some knives. All is still ok. This is the miss. French fries were cold. Tomato was the end piece. Chicken was mostly breading. Slow night so service was ok. Anyway, this is a sports bar so what can you expect. Food was ok. I would go again. read more

Awesome staff! Dasia was our server and she was the best. It was our first time there and she was patient and informative. We ordered wayy too much food but it was great to eat for lunch the next day. Will definitely go back! read more

Well dang. I HATE being a " Debby Downer" but wow this sucked. I got a Philly cheesesteak with chicken tortilla soup and a Caesar salad. The Philly was ALLLL bread, soup was like a paste, and the fries I got charged for were so cold and limp they were entirely inedible. Plus, this was a $20 dollar meal because I asked for a Caesar salad ( I thought replaced the fries) and they put the dressing on it so it too was entirely inedible because it was sauced in dressing and the lettuce was transparent. Icky never again, unfortunately. I GIVE up Taco MAC. My new name is Taco Yak! read more

The employees at the hostess station were quite immature and rude. Initially I attributed it to them being young but as I observed them a little longer I realized that they simply did not care or they did not care. Our waitress was really nice, professional and attentive. The restaurant was a huge disappointment. The dining area was untidy and the floors were sticky. That may have been understandable if it were closer to closing time but my family and I arrived about a hour after they opened. Not a pleasing ambiance. I had really high hopes for the food because there were so many positive Tik Tok reviews...sadly it was comparable to bar food at most. Maybe today was a one off but I doubt it. read more

Want to give a shout out to the management, Emily and Amelia for all you did. This is a tough pick on what side this review should fall. Based on the food, it should be a 4 or 5 Star, but was downgraded to a 3 Star based on the staff. I will explain. First i must point out that this is a great location. Just right off the interstate (I75) behind the Race Trac gas station. Easy to get into the parking from 20 81 Hwy, but if you want to get back on the interstate easily, take the side/back entrance out. There is plenty of parking! The atmosphere is your typical bar setting. Booths and bar seating, Lots of wide screen TV's and a noisy atmosphere. All good! Quick seating and placed in the bar area. Prompt service, for drinks and taking our order. We didn't have to wait long for our boneless buffalo wings and fries. The food was great and if you want a good cold beer, the have the best variety of on tap and bottled beers that you could want. Here is where I explain: While placing our order the Manager of the restaurant was talking to a gentleman at the table right beside us. And those pub tables are VERY close together. The Manager proceeded to loudly berate Home Depot for a problem he had to this gentlemen and proceeded to do so from the time we ordered our drinks until we finished eating our food!! We heard how stupid Home Depot employees were and the Manager went on and on and on. My son and I tried to talk to each other during the meal, but couldn't hear each other over this loud obnoxious rude Manager. He ruined our experience and we were glad to leave. In retrospect I should have gotten up and asked him to stop. But should I really have to even ask him that? Great restaurant, great food, awful experience. Step up your game Taco Mac!! read more

This is a bit of a sports bar! Not a Mexican restaurant as you would think by the name! There is a great outside seating area but the chairs are not very comfortable. I ordered the chicken nachos and they were huge! Too much for one person but they were delicious! I had a lot that I brought back to the hotel! If I were in town, I would come back again to try another item on the menu! The place was pretty big and seemed to be clean! The waitress was very pleasant! read more

Shrimp Mango Avocado wrap. Soooo good. If you want to watch the game while you eat, this is the place. They've got a lot of huge flat screens above most of the seats. Also if you're a beer person i would recommend giving this place a try. They have seasonal flight options as well as a whole separate beer menu. I don't usually drink beer but i took a flight that night. Would come here again. read more

I've loved Taco Mac for years, so I was super excited for them to be within miles of my house. I've tried to be forgiving and patient but this location does not have incredible wings like the others. Even their sauce tastes different. The bartenders are pretty good and make nice cocktails but the food needs some attention. read more

I always order the Crispy Calamari since they opened and have never had a problem...until tonight. The calamari was waaaaaaay over cooked-the exaggeration is need here. Frankly, it looks like an old order they gave me and refried it! The sauce was not even half way filled and had no cover on it! Mind you, there wasn't any spillage in the container...so want the hell happened! The tater tots were cold, not hot...cold. To me, the way the food was presented as if they were angry and didn't want to do their job! I don't care how late it is, there is NO REASON to be serve cold, over cooked food! Oh, I forgot to mention...it looked like it wasn't a full order of calamari! Trust me, I know the difference! Will I order from taco Mac again, yes! I'll just do at the restaurant. read more

Horrible horrible service. First off, they said our food would be ready in 30min and when it was time to pick it up they pushed the time back another half hour. Even worse, half the cooks in the kitchen are not wearing their masks and when my husband asked to speak to the manager just to kindly ask him to encourage him to speak to them, the awful hostess shrugged him off and said they wouldn't talk about it. She left and never came back with the manager. They left part of my order out, the fries were soggy, the pickles were soggy. They gave my husband barely a side it looks like half of it was eaten. Food is DECENT ; fried pickles weren't crispy , were soggy . ordered online & had the option for the food to be brung to my car ( curbside ) , when i got there the girl said they don't curbside because it's raining and they don't have umbrellas ( it was sprinkling ) and left me on hold & never returned to the phone i had to callback and speak to the manager . If you don't offer curbside , don't have it as an option ; just offer pickup read more

I love coming here and sitting at the bar.... quick service and always at least 2 bartenders holding it down. My go to meals are the black bean burgers or the shrimp tacos!! So tasty!! This Taco Mac was absolutely HORRIBLE if I didn't have to leave a star I wouldn't have I ordered a single order of wings and mac/cheese my friend ordered the catfish platter we were both disappointed and didn't finish our food . The manager "Tyler Taylor" came over and asked how it was we stated horrible and he acted like a two year old toddler who is being told no by his parents! He stated that those were the best selling in the restaurant and refused to listen as we were talking he walked away lol. Needless to say we still payed for our food and will not be eating there ever again ! read more

Went to taco mac on 4/5 @ 10 pm we were seated by the host Gentleman and Was nice we waited 10 minutes before we were greeted. The server finally came to the table to take the drink order and apps I stated we were ready to order he stated he would be back. Ok no problem maybe he was busy. So it took another 10-15 mins I had to ask another server to please my server (laziurs) so he came back to the table to take our order which was a party of 4. So i asked about the apps he stated thats what he was waiting on. He then Took the order food took forever to come out. The food came out wrong had two burgers one burger add lettuce shrimp tacos, 20 piece wings and fries.so one burger was missing lettuce that was add and the other was missing the bacon and the shrimp taco never came out or were rang in. I asked the same server that went to get laziurs to get the manager and she did once the manager came to the table (Akeisha albark) she is the night manager that was on duty. Sorry not sure if thats the correct spelling of her past name. She came to the table I explained what was going on laziurs was going in and out of the patio door so i told akeisha he must have had tables outside she stated that there were no tables outside she also stated that the order i told her was not the order he rang in . So we waited for laziur to bring the bacon, lettuce and shrimp rolls out we waited 5 minutes to get the lettuce and bacon never received shrimp tacos. Akeisha was unapologetic she looked confused she did take off $38 of tab stated server error the issue that i have a problem with was that as a manager she should've made sure that she brought the boxes and the check out to the table which she sent laziur out to the table with the check and boxes i asked to speak with Akeisha and she told laziur to tell me she was busy. This has been by far the worst experience that i have had at taco mac in McDonough ga . The food is always amazing in McDonough however Akeisha could have cared a little more about the customer. I would NOT recommend going into this establishment. read more

The food is good and waitress staff are good. However, one bartender has been talking to one patron for, I kid you not, over an hour while dirty plates and glasses sit at the bar. Went and sat at the bar. Location was not very busy. Sat with empty beers for about 15 minutes and had to get the manager to get us out ran after asking bartender for our tab about 5 minutes prior. I'm not typically a fan of bar food or sports bars but we had a really nice experience at Taco Mac. The service is a little slow but we were not in a rush so no big deal. It was pretty empty here on a Wednesday night and you definitely get a feel of southern hospitality here with the waitstaff. I had the Grilled Shrimp Tacos which was a nice and healthy-ish meal. There are lots of options for beers and I was pretty happy with the choice of ciders. I had the pineapple cider which was on draft, super good! Really sweet but tastes almost like pineapple soda which I love. Everyone else I was with got wings and seemed to enjoy them. read more

I went to this place with a group of 10 people around 10 pm. We waited for 1 hour for a table and the place wasn't busy. We finally got seated and our order was taken, unfortunately we never got our food. So in total we waited for 3 hours and we left at 1:10am. We asked for a manager( white man with a beard) he came once we were leaving and asked what happened . We told him what happen and said I'm going to go see what's happening. We told him it's fine we're leaving, after three hours this was the worst experience and it was my first time going there. The waitress avoided us for some point and I also saw other waitress talking and goofing around. Also when I ordered my wings after an hour they told me they didn't have the flavor. They seriously need a better management!!! It's unacceptable that they had a lot of employees for service to have been this terrible!!! read more
