I like this place. It's all around pretty good and it's a cool spot at night. That being said, today I got there shortly after they opened. I went to the bar to order a to-go meal. 10 wings and wrap. I waited and hour and 10 minutes to get it. (didnt come until I spoke with 2 waiters). Then the order was messed up when I got it home. Granted, they said they had someone place a $200 order right before me; it would've been nice for them to give me a warning before I ordered or at least checked on me. I had to hunt down people for help. I do like this place and will continue to come back but the to-go element was def flawed today. Another customer sitting by me left upset before I did. I like you guys, just work on the customer service. The place was empty when I got there! read more

serviceable. A good place to grab a drink and eat bar food while watching the games.

The interior was good & the beer selections were fantastic, but we never got to try anything. We waited for almost 10min for a hostess to acknowledge us. Servers walked by as they carried dishes to the kitchen, employees stood in a cluster in the kitchen doorway, one sat on a barstool, yet no one came to seat us. We ended up seating ourselves at a long table in the middle of the restaurant. There were more people in our group of 10 than in the whole restaurant. After wasting a total of 20min in this place, without encountering a single working employee, we left. I guess I'll stick to the one in downtown Atlanta. They understand the meaning of service. read more

Even though it's a chain the food is great and the beer selection is incredible. Highly recommended.

Outstanding wings & good beer selection. In my opinion that's enough to make this a great spot, but I've also been very pleased with the other selections. Hey, I like bar food... read more

Great local pub to watch sports, have some great food and big selection of beer's. The Shrimp and Avocado salad is fantastic for a light and tasty meal and, if really hungry, go for the loaded nachos. read more

Well I embarrassed my family yet again as I went back and gave this chain a second chance. Seated at 8:21 food not delivered till 9:32 on the food. Long and behold everybody else's order was ok but mine was supposed to be a chicken Hollywood meal. My wife does not agree at the total jerk I can be nor does my daughter as my anger and frustration led me to speak a little Spanish "uno". But they both saw how jacked up the short order chef was on my meal. Needless to say I will never go back. Time is money and I wasted both on this bad decision to eat at this establishment. read more

My friend found an earring in her cup of sweet tea... so judging by that don't think we will be coming back

We were just passing through and decided to stop and watch a football game. The hamburger was amazing. The coleslaw needed more seasoning, but the hamburger made up for it. The service and the beer were very good! read more

I have been visiting this restaurant since 2010 and in the beginning it was one of my favorite places. In the last 6 to 8 months it has started going downhill and today it has hit the bottom for me. I ordered the southwest chicken wrap and asked for ranch to go along with it. The ranch that was given to me looked felt and tasted like tartar sauce, and when asked the waiter said that he was sure it was ranch because they don't have tarter sauce there. Their menu has constantly changed, food is over priced and the quality of this location has really dropped. I may try other locations but I will not be back to this one. read more

Maybe I'm just lucky but I've had the best bartenders in this city wait on me. While they were only in training, Abbie and Darius provided me with better service than I have ever received at any other taco mac I've been to. Abbie was sweet and engaging, made a wonderful drink and if it hadn't been for her trainer being a complete moron I'm sure she would have been running circles around everyone there. Darius was so funny and made me laugh so hard. I'll definitely be coming back to see those two read more

Great atmosphere but the food was overcooked. We had to ask multiple times for everything. I ordered a chicken wrap with no tomatoes and I got a chicken sandwich with tomatoes. The chicken was very dry and overcooked. Won't rule out a 2nd visit but it will be a while. read more

Wide variety of foods. Something for everyone here. More casual not fancy foods but all tasted good. My daughter got a burger and it was very good, juicy and good flavor. I got a wrap, they did give me a different one that I ordered but it was still good. Tasted like ranch dressing was homemade and was very good. Would go back! read more

I got the wings, roasted they were extremely good. I love the fries here. My girlfriend got the chicken quesadilla and she loved it. The only issue I have with this place is that it seems a little understaffed. The waitress/waiters didn't come around as often as I would have liked. Otherwise A+ read more

This is a great spot to come eat if your around the area. Great food, beer, and environment. 10/10 recommend.

Service was a bit slow considering how dead it was in there, but everyone in our party enjoyed their meals and it was a good value. Nice atmosphere. Fajitas, pepperoni flatbread, and burgers were ordered with thumbs up from all. read more

Taco mac chatt. did an amazing job. What they don't know is it was my bday today so I just wanted to go out get a beer and burger well the beer... always good at a great price and well the burger was the best thing I have ever had. I have had many burgers but this one was great! Best one I have ever had! The Kenmore if you've never had it you need to. Great flavor and they cooked it just right. So really I just want to say thank you taco mac for making my bday lunch amazing! read more

Attempted to go to Taco Mac. The hostess took our name and number and started seating other parties who arrived after us with the same number of guests. We went back to her only to find out she forgot to put us on the waitlist. We finally got seated only to wait for 11 minutes with not a single server saying anything to us. However, three servers came to three tables next to us, including the manager. Finally, we got up and left. Horrible management/service. read more

One of my favorite spots downtown to eat. I always get a hard shell bean taco and load it up with salsa. It's annoying to have to pay extra for sour cream, and if you order food without alcohol, the service isn't amazing, but nothing so horrible as to complain to the manager about. The restaurant can be cold; I wear long sleeves even in the summer, but they do have outside seating. read more

Learn how to cook the damn food, taco crap, terrible food. Service was ok.... Go to taco bell, they suck, but they do it better than taco mac. Tex Mex, not even close. read more

My partner and I decided to stop by and eat at this location after we took a ghost tour of the town. It was late in the night around 10:30 and the place didn't close to midnight everywhere else closed around 11:00pm. We walked in to only stand for about 5-6 minutes before a host came to great us and rather then greeting or asking how we were doing she made a horrible first impression on us by saying. "You must be here for your to-go order" I politely responded with "No we are here for a table" we were then walked over to our table and I knew from then on the service would be horrible. My prediction on the service was right we ordered an appetizer and didn't get it until about 15 minutes later then shortly after we reviewed our food. The food was great but the service was absolutely horrible. read more

Awful service. Took 20 minutes to get my food. Out of chocolate milk. What do they think I'm going to drink? Water!?! Friendly waitress though. read more

I always have the highest hopes for this place and the food and service ALWAYS disappoint. The atmosphere and location have so much potential but it is all being wasted to poor server training and average food. If you do choose to go, be prepared to wait for a VERY long time. I won't be returning. read more

Went in for dinner tonight yet never go to eat. The server seemed mad that she got a table. Hostess was rude as well.. It was beyond irritating read more

The service and food are extremely hit and miss, especially in an area that has so many other restaurants.

Terrible smell in restaurant, table and seats were wet when seated at booth. Waited very long for drink order, then was told that no soft drinks were available, just water and tea. Ordered tea and waited another 15 min for food order, decided to leave after drinking none of the tea and was charged 3.99 for a tea that I didn't have. Won't be back, had given them a second try after a previous visit with bad service and below average food. read more

Came Saturday night wife two kids and my self around 6:30 11/23/19 the hostess told us 15 min. About 10 min they buzzed us to the front desk to be seated. Hostess said they accidentally entered us as a table of two not table of 4, OK... we sat back down and then time..... just... kept.....rolling.....by......multiples of peoples came in and were seated, guy and his two kids came in and were seated, several other groups entered and were seated. I wasn't keeping time but think we sat there for another 50min, couple times the hostess look at us and kinda talked amongst them selves the girl threw her hands up looking confused. Never did they come update us or say hey we are working on it. Many groups that came in after us were seated and we kept sitting there waiting.......Finally I had enough... we got up made our way past the hostesses and out the door. It's cool we went somewhere else. BUT It's Gonna take a LOT of arm twisting for anybody to get me to go back to Taco Mac EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which means every time I'm with a group that drinks lots of beer those big spenders we probably won't be going to Taco Mac. On the way out seen another section around the corner with tons of open tables and everyone looked as if they were getting bad service, the gentleman with two kids had been seated 20min looked as if he had been abandoned there with an empty table a glass of beer. read more

This has always been a favorite of mine when I lived in Chattanooga. We ate there once a week. I was in Chattanooga a couple of nights ago and stopped by for my favorite wings. Unbeknownst to me, they completely remodeled. I met a group of old friends there and never again. They weren't very busy. Hillary was our server. We waited 30 minutes for all 5 of us to get our drinks. I might add they were not busy. We finally got our drinks after summoning another server. We ordered wings wet. They sent the wings dry. We chased them down all night for water and beer. A young man came by in which I asked if he was the manager. He replied yes. I told him the situation and with a cavalier attitude he told me "we are having a bad night". I was floored. The old taco mac wouldn't stand for this. I paid my my $90 tab and said never again. I tried calling corporate but they now hide their number. Absolutely sickening. I will never step foot in tmac again. When I got back home to Florida, I decided to call them. It's obvious they've gone to some great lengths to hide their phone number. I decided to fill out the form and never heard from them. Taco Mac, a name change won't hide the truth. Ordered delivery. Boyfriend selected entree with ranch sauce. It was NOT delivered as part of the food package. I selected black bean burger. Patty was way bigger than the bun, burger oddly made. If you aren't ready to open then keep your doors closed. Service is worse than trying to get a decent meal in the county lockup. Staff is clueless and completely incapable of understanding the simplest request. Ordered chips and queso, 25 min later nothing. Beer? 20 minutes. Ordered a child's grilled cheese. Looked cooked. It was still frozen. If I had 3 arms all would be a thumbs down. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. Our server had an attitude from the moment she walked up to our table. Instead of taking a drink order and giving us a minute to review the menu, she instantly walked up and asked if we were ready. Two of us had beers from an order which we placed AND paid for at the bar. Yet, she carded us again for drinking at the table. Keep in mind, we are both in our 40's. I explained that we didn't need another beer, but she snapped back "you're drinking at my table. I need to see your ID." The rest of the party ordered water with lemon. When the water came without lemon and a request was made for lemon, she literally rolled her eyes as she walked away. She brought all the food to the table, but one person's and he was made to wait an additional 15 minutes for his food- which was simply an order of wings!!! She said a manager was working on the order, but she was the one who ended up bringing out the food, not a manager. Everyone else had to eat their food because it was getting cold, so the last person to receive their meal ate alone. I contemplated leaving nothing as a tip, but appreciate the work most servers do, so left a measly 15%. If you're going to work in the service industry, have some manners or find a new job. I will never ever return to this restaurant and suggest you find somewhere else to go, if you end up in downtown Chattanooga. read more

My son wanted hot wings so we stopped in... I should have realized it was St Patricks day and probably not the best day to eat here. The bar side was packed of course. Luckily they seated us to the right where it was less crowded. I asked if the chips were home made and was told yes. I just ordered fresh guacamole and chips. It also came w salsa. My son ordered boneless mild buffalo wings and fries. We waited quite a while for the food to arrive. When it finally did they didn't bring the ranch for my sons wings. Then we waited forever for them to bring it back. I do not eat meat anymore but the wings didn't look good to me. He said they were not anywhere as close to as good as Buffalo Wild Wings. My chips were just ok, they were kind of thick and tasted kind of stale, like they were fried significantly earlier in the day. The guacamole was ok, just ho-hum guacamole really. Our server was not that great either. The whole experience was mediocre at best. I would come back here to drink beer but not to eat. read more

Before I start this review I want to start by saying I have been to Taco Mac PLENTY of times before the remodel. My coworkers and I decided to go there for lunch today and it was not dead by any means but they only had a few servers "working" if that's what you want to call it. We were seated with menus and then left by the hostess and were not even acknowledged by a server/manager for 10 minutes!! It is absolutely ridiculous how downhill this place has gone in recent years! It wasn't until after we stood up and began to walk out that anyone spoke to us, even though they had plenty of time to talk to each other instead of even asking us if they could at least get our drinks or telling us they would be with us in a minute! Is it a coincidence that almost every bad review lately has said the same thing that I have?? Listen to all the bad reviews and stay far away from this place and their horrible service, I will not EVER be back and that is a shame because for a while it was one of my favorites. I do not want a comment back from a manager or customer service representative in the call center for my email either please because you don't need to be gathering emails, you need to be gathering a new business model! read more

Upon arriving, we were promptly seated and given menus. Though, after a little over ten minutes of waiting for a server to take our drink order, we left. The party was a table of 3 at 12:45pm. Maybe 4 tables were occupied and managers were standing at the bar, maybe 5 feet from us making eye contact, but didn't seem concerned that guests weren't being helped. I could understand the wait, if it were a busy night and the place was packed, but this was the middle of the day, during lunch in a busy section of downtown, with minimal presence. We left and walked across the street to Chili's and were seated, greeted and had drinks in under 5 minutes. I won't be back. read more

Good place to eat at. Good service. Always come here to watch UNC games. Best atmosphere !

I review a lot of taco macs. The servicw at this one is really bad at the bar. Tables might not be so bad. The food ia as it always is, so that is a plus. Too bad thebartenders are clueless, or just don't care. read more
