I have recently started door dashing. Today I had three orders at this taco mac. The first two went very smoothly. I waited at the bar and was handed my food. On my third order, I went in and went straight to the bar. I am greeted by a new manager who I was told is named Micheal. He tells me to wait by the patio door and I complied. He comes back and tells me the order will be done shortly. I kindly asked if he had a time estimate and he proceeded to tell me "a few" while not looking at me and also walking away. A waiter next to me who had also checked on my order told me it would be about 10 minutes which is all I wanted to know so I could inform my customer. I proceeded to ask if Micheal was new because the way he spoke to me was dismissive and quiet frankly rude. The girl informs me that he is new and has never worked at a taco mac before. We left it at that. Micheal proceeds to come back with my food and before handing it to me, he gives me a lecture about covid-19 (which i have no problems with, I make sure I have a mask at all times) and also goes on to look me up and down and say how i look "unprofessional". He says this twice without letting me speak. He truly proved my point I was making with the female waitress because who and why are you talking to anybody like that. Makes me truly sad because this is one of my favorite spots and this experience has completely turned me away. read more

Let me start by saying that this was visit ended better than it started. When my wife and I arrived we were informed there would be an hour wait. Within the first 20 minutes everyone that was there prior to us were seated.Then we noticed another group of people filled up the waiting area. After another 15 mins we noticed that some of the people that were being seated came in after us so we asked how much longer and were told that there was 4 before us. Another couple asked why we were still waiting while there was 4 booths open and was told that the wait was because the kitchen was catching up and nobody could be seated till they do. Then we saw one of the wait staff come around and take 4 people to seat them without the hostess being notified. At this point we asked for the manager and were promptly seated. After being seated our waitress, Kaela, was very nice and pleasant while taking our drink and food orders. We order the trio appetizer and wings. The food came out pretty quickly considering the backup in the kitchen. I had the Korean Black Garlic seasoning tossed on my wings with a side of their Death Sauce to dip them in. My wife had the Tangy Honey BBQ. All the food was good and the service was great. So why a 2 star review. Well I would grade them a 5 star for food and service after being seated and a 1 star for poor service prior to being seated. I really don't see how this place has so many stars. If you've read some of my other reviews you'd know that I am not fond of places with sticky tables and food on the floor or on the chair you've just pulled out to sit on. Well this place is just that. There was a ton of salt on my chair and a collection of fries, chicken crumbs and chips. This is where a hostess or server actually came and sat us at 3:20 in the afternoon..pure daylight. Once I cleared my own chair I sat down and looked around and there were empty tables with dirty plates just sitting and food on the floor seemed to be the norm..GROSS!!! This is my second and last time. The food is mediocre, like Chilli's. Our waitress didn't give the best service. We wanted more beer, but since she came to check on us when we were finishing our meal, we didn't order anything else. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because they do have a lot of beer to chose from. read more

Taco Mac is one of my favorite places to eat and hang out. Whether its a date with my husband or hanging out with friends, I love the atmosphere. The food is fantastic. I like the Taco Mac buffalo bleu cheese burger and the boneless wings with the "hot" sauce. Close to home and great for casual dining. read more

I came to taco Mac and waited 15 minutes for a waitress to show up. after I noticed no one shows up I walked out. they have really bad service and needs to stop messing around and actually do their job. I don't recommend this location for anybody. read more

Been here twice. Food is ok and a great variety of beer but the price is high and they're greedy. I was actually charged enough for extra sour cream to buy a whole container of it! Came in for the rose bowl, biggest game of the year and they don't have ANYTHING. Thought it was a joke at first, but they were out of wings, chicken, ketchup, any sides, and endless amount of other food items. Both me and everyone i was with all got food poisoning after eating here, we all had to stay in the restroom all night at a hospital Emergency Room, because it was the only thing left open and we couldn't go home till hours later because we was so sick from the food. Don't risk it stay as far away from this place as you can. We all got different foods and ended up all getting sick , so its not just a certain food, its the whole place. Not to mention the rude waitresses who treat you like there's something wrong with you and feel annoyed with their job and whole life. I go to the taco Mac in Duluth all of the time and exceptional food and service but decided to take my son here for lunch. I am disappointed in the food. Victoria was our server and she was amazing. She seemed to be stretched a little thin in her section but she did amazing! Great customer service from her! On the other hand, I was very specific on my wings and the came out with wrong sauce, they "corrected" them but it seemed as tho they put the sauce I requested on top of the already hot sauce they put on incorrectly which made them unbearable. It was very kind for the manager to take the wings off my bill. I didn't ask for it. The manager finally came to the table as I was leaving, a little late at this point. Customer service is key in this industry. It's great that he had someone like Victoria while he was helping his kitchen staff. Everything took forever to come out but would explain it if they are short in the kitchen. we were there for an 1hr plus solely because of waiting on food. The empty parking lot on a Sunday evening should have been a sign which I unfortunately ignored after a 5 minute or so wait for a server to show we were asked "what do you want to drink" not a welcome to Taco Mac or any pleasantries. Another ten minutes the drinks appear with an ever so unkind 'What do you want to eat'. As I sit here and write this I can only hope the food will make up for the unkind, unpleasant and downright rude behavior. read more

Ordered 10 wings and all were their "original" style. 5 of a dry rub and 5 of the second hottest on the menu. While reading their menu, it's highlighted in large font, that their wings are "award wining". Well, if cooking the wings so severely that the wings no longer possess any form of moisture, which are so over cooked, that buried Egyptian mummies posses more moisture than the wings I ordered, then Taco Mac should be proud to brag about award wining wings. I should've sent them back but after a day of traveling from Connecticut for business, I would have eaten just about anything as I was so hungry, but I won't go quietly. The only thing they should brag about is their selection of beer. And the only thing that was award wining this night was my bad attitude towards Taco Mac food. read more

I want to give them more stars, but they just always seem to have so many problems here. Long ticket times, wrong orders and vacant servers tend to be the norm. Just endured a 60 minute ticket time for some tacos. When they came out they were wrong. Management didn't seem to care. Great beer selection and lots of tv's, but it ends there. read more

Taco Mac now has a "Brewniversity" program where you can earn beer-drinking degrees (up to a Ph.D., followed by Professor, Chair, Dean, etc.) by drinking all of the kinds of beers they carry at Taco Mac. I tried to work out how many days/weeks/months/years it would take you to get to 1000 beers (no more than 6 in any given day ~ does that seem like too much to you??), but my brain hurt too much. We skipped the beer and tried the fajitas this time. A bit too skimpy on the cheese and waaaaay too much sour cream on the plate, but all in all, just fine. Tonight was my first time eating here & I was so excited. Sadly, I was disappointed. I could definitely tell that my server did not want to be there. I know people have bad days, but I also know from working in customer service that whatever is going on gets left at the door and you continue to do your job to the best of your ability. The service was slow. I can understand if it's busy, but there were MAYBE 2 other parties besides mine. This Taco Mac is a mixed bag when I go in. Sometimes there are tons of kids, sometimes there are a lot of young teenagers, sometimes 40's and up grabbing a beer after work. It can be a little loud to carry on a conversation. I give it a three because the food is OK and the place has the potential to be fun with a group of friends, but no cigar with me. It is close to where I live so if I wanna grab a beer and some food later at night this is an option. I do not believe all Taco Mac's to be created equal. I have been to a couple that a lot more going on than this particular location. read more

100 beers on tap. Need I say more? The nachos were good as well as the honey Chipotle wings. The variety of beer was a highlight. From Chimay to Peroni, Jekyll Hop Dang Diggitty was nice. We love taco Mac and have been going weekly for 4 years but this Buford location has the worst service we have ever experienced. We wanted a booth not a table but Hostess did not feel like checking how long a booth would take until we specifically asked her to. We were only two. Server took drink order and ran off before we could tell her we wanted an appetizer. When she came back with drinks she was rushing through our order. Then we ask her to add some shredded cheese to our chips and she says there's a $5 extra charge!! When we told her we have been ordering it that way with out an extra charge at the suwanee location we were told they are a franchise not corporate owned. So basically we have to pay more because they are a corporate location? Then we got the food but tortillas were missing we had no silverware or napkins and server looked clearly bothered when asked to bring such things. For 100% better service go to Suwanee location. We were regulars there and NEVER had these issues. We moved closer to Buford location so that's why we came here but next time we'll drive the extra 8 miles. Sadly this is not the first time we have a bad experience with service at this location. We have come here with larger groups and same problem employees don't want to work when asked to do something outside their usual service. Had this been the first and only time I would cut them some slack. On the up side the manager did come over and after explaining our experience he offered to comp us for our food. We have been going to this location for the past 3 years. The food has always been good. I love their hot sauce on everything. The have great in house made bleu cheese and a large menu. The service however has been on a steady decline for the past few months. I will start at the first sign of trouble. A few months ago we ordered 20 wings to go. When we arrived home and began plating, we discovered we only had 19 wings. No big deal, it happens. However the last time we ordered them we only had 17. I sent an email to corporate and was told that the store manager of that location would contact me to resolve my issue. I have never heard from the store manager. This time, we were greeted and seated Quickly. Our waitress come over and introduced herself as Natalie. We had her one other time, but I think she is fairly new. I ordered a water with lemon and my husband ordered a water and a beer. She came back with his beer, and said "oops, I forgot your water". She came back to the table with a water and set down a side of ranch and a side of honey mustard. I ordered a shrimp and avocado wrap. My husband ordered buffalo chicken tacos, with a side of bleu cheese. She said the order back to us, but with ranch instead of bleu cheese and he corrected her. She said so you want ranch on the tacos, and a side of bleu cheese. And he said no. no ranch at all. The tacos come with bleu cheese, and I want a side of bleu cheese. She turned to walk away and we both tried to get her attention to let her know that the condiments that she set down were not ours, as we just ordered. But she was gone and not paying attention. She came back to our table and I asked for a straw and some lemons again. She laughed about how the next table down had to ask for the honey mustard again because she set it down here instead of giving it to them, and didn't remember. She came back to deliver our food and my husband opened his condiment cup, and it was ranch. Are you kidding me? Also, she didn't bring any lemons. It took half of the meal until she came back and finally got my husband some bleu cheese. I tipped her exactly 10%, and even that was too much. That was the final straw. I'm sure I will go there again, but I will wait a few months until the they have waitress turnover and there is a whole new staff. read more

Worst service I've ever had. It was obvious that they were very busy and didn't have enough staff, which is very understandable. That being said, it took 30 minutes for us to get one beer and our server didn't even bother apologizing after we had to go to the bar to order it. We waited for probably 35-40 mins on our food, which I don't mind if it is fresh. When our food came out (5 meals) every single one was almost ice cold. Not even warm. When we asked for a manager they got very defensive with us first, trying to say they were short. I simply replied "I understand that, which is why I am okay with a long wait, however our food was ice cold after a 35 minute wait." She offered fresh food for us but added that it probably wouldn't be out for another 30 minutes. Thankfully they dropped the bill for us. Still, felt very unprofessional on their side. The beer selection is awesome (as it should be). However, this location was really pushy about desserts! I didn't get it...but the waitress asked us if we saved room for dessert every time she came to the table. HELLO! We weren't even through with our meals and we said "no." Outside the Anchor Bar in Buffalo this is my favorite place for wings. I like mine extra crispy in Hot sauce with extra blue cheese and celery. This is your typical sports bar with an amazing beer selection. Join the Brewervisity and you can work your way through the selection and earn great prizes. Came here for Mother's Day and soon as we walked on the door I was already pissed off. The little girl at the reception desk didn't look at us, didn't say hello, I'll be with you in a moment...nothing. Literally stood there for 2 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Very rude customer service. Then spoke to the manager and he didn't even act like he cared. The reason for the 3 stars is our waiter made up for it because he provided a great service and was very attentive. And the home made ranch dressing is amazing. OK I don't know what happened but we went back here this year! AND loved it....they had tacos and excellent beers and the chips and salsa were finger licking good! We are visiting from New York and this was a really nice dining experience. We had the quest con carne which we would all recommend. It was a great appetizer for 3 people. We all had different things I had the burger my grandma had the steak quesadilla and my aunt had the philly steak. We all ate until we were full and still had leftovers. Which we all appreciated because now we have dinner as well. We would definitely come back here while on vacation and think they should open a restaurant in Buffalo. read more
