I ordered a shrimp taco and while I was nervous that it would be small, it as actually a nice size and very filling. Was it a bit spicy? Yes. But I powered through because the flavors were good. The cilantro rice was also so good as a side and I loved the street corn, it was so creamy and delicious. My main pick when I visit now is the half southwest rice bowl with grilled chicken. It is the right portion size and has all the things I love in the rice bowl. I forgot to add avocado/guac on this last visit, but that's usually a good thing to add on top or to the side. Be sure you download the app and sign up for their rewards so that you can earn points and get rewards! First off: there's a small parking lot on the east side of the building plus plenty of street parking. Inside you'll be graciously welcomed by the bartender if you slide onto a barstool-- or you can be seated at a table in the dining room or outside. They're usually a few decent beers on tap, and more available in cans. The bar manager does excellent work with a specialty cocktail menu and house-made shrubs and syrups. The house margarita is affordable and very drinkable. While you wait, enjoy complimentary popcorn topped with Rock Star Dust-- their own special blend of seasonings that is also included in several other menu items. Scan the QR code to see the menu of rockstar-named dishes like the glass onion rings, Amy Swinehouse (pork taco) and such. It's all good! (Your server will take your order & bring the food out.)
