Close to Fresh Thyme and SLU Walked here before a presentation with my co worker. The space is bright and open, they also operate a carry out window from the side. The menu is large with lots of selections. We got the dip trio with guacamole, salsa and queso. All decent! Could use some seasoning, salt pepper lime, but all edible and chips were good also. The staff was helpful, We both ordered two tacos and they came out fairly quickly I had chicken fajita and mahi-mahi. Both had a good sauce and seasoning. A little too much avocado on one, we love multi texture so the cabbage was better, but overall decent! I'm more of a street taco regular but these were filling and the tortillas were soft . Overall not bad and could see myself back for lunch. Close to Fresh Thyme and SLU Walked here before a presentation with my co worker. Keep seeing this place so we decided to check it out. It had a good amount of parking and is pretty large. There is also a nice covered patio. The menu has a good variety of tacos, burritos, nachos and dips. Went here with my husband on Saturday night. No parking issues. Walked up to the counter and ordered. We both got the 2 taco combo, which comes with 2 tacos, a side and a drink. We also got the 3 dip combo. Dip was good, salsa needed a little more spice though. Tacos were big and tasty and so was the corn. Food came out quickly! So services was great too! I will def go back!

I really enjoyed the concept of this restaurant. I'm happy that my purchase went to a good cause. I can't say I was worried that the food wouldn't taste good, but I was pleasantly surprised. Their chips were so light and airy, and the dips were great to go along with it. We also came here with a big group so that was very accommodating for us. I will certainly be back to enjoy some more tacos.

I am blown away by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff! I visited on a Thursday evening at around 6:00 PM. I knew I'd want to take a nice peruse at their menu, so I placed my order on their website for pickup. I was able to make customizations easily and get a good look at all of their menu items. When I arrived at the estimated pickup time, my order was not quite ready, but I didn't mind waiting! Totally understandable, especially since I visited on one of their first days of being open and everyone was seemingly still receiving training. The interior is so trendy, bright, and welcoming. Such good vibes! I enjoyed reading about their meal for a meal mission and background. At one point, a staff member came out from the kitchen and asked about one of the customizations I made to my order just to make sure everything would be prepared correctly, which I really appreciated! My partner and I wanted to go all out and try a little bit of everything from their menu. I tried their paradise punch, which was very refreshing. I also had one of their chicken tacos and a ground beef taco. My partner had a burrito. The burrito was a nice size and tasted delicious. The tacos weren't necessarily anything super memorable, but if you're craving tacos, they'll totally hit the spot. I especially liked my taco that came with the puffy shell. Additionally, we tried their side of cilantro pesto rice. I've never had anything like it! There wasn't quite enough pesto given the rice-to-sauce ratio, but it was very unique and flavorful. Lastly, we tried their cookies for dessert - one chocolate chip and one snickerdoodle. They were very small, but not bad for $1! I will definitely be back! I love their mission and customer service. And I look forward to trying more menu items, of course!

Food was delicious, great variety of tacos and entrees. The parking is big. Great ambiance at the dining room. The service was very helpful with recommendations. Don't skip the seasonal drinks.

First time visiting this location. Right a the corner under the Element Hotel across the street from City Foundry. You order your food before taking your seat with a decent sized menu there's a lot to choice from. Plenty of seating free refills on ALL their drinks. I ordered the Steak Burrito, and Koran BBQ Steak, Chipotle Steak taco Combo. While my wife had the steak quesadilla and shrimp taco now I would like to state you can smell this place from the steak so I had high expectations out the gate. When I say they didn't disappoint everything was amazing, the steak was tender and flavorful all the toppings was fresh. Really impressed by this place will be back in the future

I left dinner here completely full in my stomach and heart! These tacos are incredible, what an great variety of flavorful options for tacos and sides. The Carnitas, Fajitas, and Mahi Mahi tacos are drowning in flavor, but clean enough to eat without a mess. And the sides, we only got to experience the Mexican creamed corn and queso rice, but I'm keen to try the cilantro pesto rice. The whole place was clean, like so clean I thought it was brand new, but no, to it's just well cared for. And the staff, daaaaang, they were all incredibly welcoming and attentive, to but not overbearing. But knowing that my dinner options are part of supporting a greater cause and having an immediate impact on real need in this world, let me just say that so many delicious tacos are in my future. Also there's free parking on the side which is a huuuuuge perk in the city!!!

I've made a review before, but I definitely wanted to come back and say Tacos 4 Life never disappoints. I am so picky about nachos and their nachos definitely won me over! I really think there's nothing on the menu that would disappoint.

My husband and I enjoyed the food here. I like the fact they donate 27/29 cents per dollar to charity. Hoping to go there again.

This place is the best! I just heard they may close at the end of 2025, which would really be a…read moreshame. There's nothing quite like it in the neighborhood. RST is owned by an amazing couple who care about their guests and their products. The food is fun and tasty; drinks are fantastic. First off: there's a small parking lot on the east side of the building plus plenty of street parking. Inside you'll be graciously welcomed by the bartender if you slide onto a barstool-- or you can be seated at a table in the dining room or outside. They're usually a few decent beers on tap, and more available in cans. The bar manager does excellent work with a specialty cocktail menu and house-made shrubs and syrups. The house margarita is affordable and very drinkable. While you wait, enjoy complimentary popcorn topped with Rock Star Dust-- their own special blend of seasonings that is also included in several other menu items. Scan the QR code to see the menu of rockstar-named dishes like the glass onion rings, Amy Swinehouse (pork taco) and such. It's all good! (Your server will take your order & bring the food out.) Tamales are especially excellent, made with the owner's mother's authentic recipe. There are a few vegetarian options, rotating specials, and sweet treats as well. You can get in and out pretty quickly if you've got somewhere else to be, or hang for a while and enjoy the cool atmosphere & wonderful people!

Everything was great! We are sad to see them go. I had the McSabbath, Fish You were Here (the sweet…read moresauce wasn't for me, but the fish was nice and crispy), and the Man in the Box. We tried Eye of the Tiger, Mac & Diane, and Down on the Korner. All were tasty. If anything, I love the menu for clever names. Be sure to get there before they close the doors and grab a bottle of Rock Star Dust, too.

Someone in passing recommended coming here for Taco Tuesday so we headed in to see how they were…read more We've gone by this place so many times, but never tried it, because from the outside we couldn't tell if they were actually open (They are! They just have a reflective film on their windows that obscures that people are inside. If this was ever your deterrent, too, please stop by!). The people are very friendly, and very willing to answer questions. One thing to note though, there is nothing that advertises they do a Taco Tuesday special anywhere on their menu or inside. It also took a while to order, not just because they have an extensive menu, but because their menus are well worn so it's hard to see what is what. Here is their Taco Tuesday breakdown: They are hard shell corn tacos, $1.25 each. They come stuffed with seasoned meat (ground beef or shredded chicken only), lettuce, and a big helping of cheese. There isn't a vegetarian option for the special, but you can order veggie tacos from their regular menu. I got one of each to know which to have in the future (they're both good but the beef is more flavorful), the #6 special (enchilada, relleno, rice and beans), and my friend and I shared a flan. She had the Mexicanos tacos (street) and mixed and matched hers with 2 steaks and 1 lengua. That one comes with a separate salsa roja that was spicy and smokey. I would totally get that next time. One thing to note, I thought I was getting a chille relleno in my special. No, it's just relleno! My bad Probably won't be getting that again as that is not my thing. The specials range from $11.25 to $11.75 so very affordable yet filling. I definitely took most of my food home. The leche flan is made in house and is $6 but DENSE and perfectly caramelized and not overly sweet.

I really like the Tex-Mex Burrito. It has steak, chicken, and shrimp. And it is topped with three…read moresauces too - salsa, queso, and verde. It was a nice size (on a 10" tortilla), and it came with rice, beans, lettuce guacamole, and salsa Fresca. The flavors were great together! The restaurant has plenty of seating and a bar area too.
