I went earlier today. I got a taco and a regular order of nachos and meat on the side and a sweet tea and I drove all the way back to Maypearl before eating. Upon arriving home, I've fixed my nachos and when I went to buy it into the chips, they were stale, and the meat container was half empty instead of full. However, I did speak with the GM Annie and she promised next time I'm in Midlothian just stop by and they will give me a do over. She was very nice and apologetic so I won't write them off yet. Meat has a taste like it was canned? Cheese is watery with no flavor profile. I get it...it's a drive though and quick. However the effort here makes me rate it a 3/10. I ordered the nachos and the chips were extremely bland. Everything I had in that plastic bag tastes like it was made from dollar general ingredients. What happened to caring about the food?! Places like this is what's wrong with America today Businesses like Taco Casa just want to make money and do not care about the quality of their food. I just had the worst drive thru experience I've ever had. Not all of it their fault, but the majority of it was their fault. Story time: I placed my order at the speaker box and was told they would give me the price at the window. That's fine, not unusual. I wait for about ten minutes for the cars in front of me to be served. Once I get to the window they start reading out someone else's order. I told them my order and they say it was never put into the computer. They tell me to pull forward and stop at the side door. I do just that. Then when they are done with the customer behind me, that customer starts to lay on the horn. There was clearly enough room for him to go around. Eventually he does. He decides to stop next to me and cuss me out before leaving. I wait for another ten minutes. Finally an employee brings me my order. Or so I thought. They forget half my order. They go back, then they bring me my drink forgetting my straw. Needless to say I was very frustrated at this point and near tears for getting cussed at. So all that to say this particular location needs to work on their service. read more

I typically don't leave reviews for fast food places and this one is solely for the young lady working the window on 11/1/24 at 8:42pm. Her name isn't on the receipt. The simple act of kindness she showed by asking if I was okay is still making me smile. I'd had a long day and she said she could tell I was tired just by my eyes. This is the second time I've tried this place and I've tried other taco Casas in the metroplex. Today I did the drive-through and I got two super tacos, which is a good price and while the ingredients seemed OK both shells were stale and when I mean, stale, I could hardly eat them. For a new or newly done I find this absolutely appalling. If you want a fresh taco, try a different place cause this one is not going to give you anything fresh. read more

Only to discover that this establishment does not price the same as most other Taco Casa establishments. No price reduction on the standard Taco. Only on the super items. In these days and times if I'm gonna have to be seated every other table and social distance as well as wear a full mouth and nose covering mask, then I guarantee you I will definitely point out when I see the Manager in Training at this establishment pointing together our order with only his mouth covered and his nose blowing all over the prepared food. The Taco B*ll in Midlothian doesn't look well maintained, so I have been looking for somewhere else in town to get my fast food taco fix...enter Taco Casa. I've been twice now and the portion sizes are HUGE! I can't help myself but over order each time. This issue concerning our order wasn't the first time. We ordered a large order something like 43.00 dollars worth. They forgot to include the two Chiladas that we ordered. We called up there and talked to someone by the name of Anna. She wasn't very helpful when we called asking about the food that wasn't put in the bag because we ordered to go. Ana was practically accusing us of lying to her because she didn't believe us. Someone should go over the order to make sure it's right before bagging it. Too bad about this location because I like Taco Casa but this place really sucks due to the customer service being offered. I love Taco Casa for inexpensive quick and good fast food Mexican. They have a pretty limited menu which does not include any chicken tacos. One thing I love is the value for the money. I hit Taco Casa pretty frequently as I move around during my work. Pluses : generous ingredients especially cheese in their tacos. So far I have found every dish that uses cheese uses quality shredded cheese-not some kind of canned quasi-cheese Muck. I have eaten at this location multiple times and find it consistently good. In fact I've never had a bad meal at Taco Casa. Remember this is fast food. They are great at doing what they set out to do. read more

A local favorite that beats down Taco Hell (Bell) in every way. The menu is simplified and a tiny bit pricier but between the two there is simply no comparison. I've noticed that this is the cleanest location as well. The only (minor) drawback is with the service being spotty. Taco C. is a fast food Mexican food joint with a pretty limited Mexican style menu consisting of soft and hard tacos and variations of tacos. They also have burritos and a pretty good burrito(for s fast food burrito) covered in chili and cheese. The one major complaint I have about Taco C. (And this may be fighting words for many Texans) is that boat load, seriously a boat load, of cheese they dump on everything. You could feed all of the starving kids in Africa with the excess cheese they out on each taco. The flavors are good (once again, for a fast food place). The lettuce and tomatoes are usually fresh and crispy. The sweet tea is excellent. They do it right. I get the half and half to offset the sweetness. read more

I go to Taco Casa because it is better than Taco Bell. I want something that is fast and I don't have to prepare. I ordered the Super Nachos and I get home to eat them and they aren't prepared! All of the condiments come individually packaged so I have to spend 15 minutes preparing the Nachos when I am already starving. I paid $10 for Nachos & a drink that weren't prepared! I guess that is their way of saving on labor cost? So if you aren't going to prepare the Nachos then lower the price of the Nachos! I will go back to Taco Casa but will not EVER get the Nachos again! The girl at the drive thru forced my order through the rather short window of my Camaro crushing the Taco Lites in my order. In addition, 2 Taco Lites were missing from my order. I called the store and they refused to replace the items because they would get in trouble. My wife & I used to visit Taco Casa 2/3 times a month and spend at least $25-35 each visit. From my most recent visit a few days ago, I can say that I'll return. Of course, a fast food restaurant review isn't really all that important, but I just thought I'd share my opinion from my visit. The automatic doors are pretty cool, I've never walked into a restaurant that had that feature. The guy at the register seemed to know what he was doing and greeted me right away, I placed my To-Go order and saw that he got everything I said. He got my drinks filled right away and handed them to me. I only waited about 3 minutes before getting my food, it seemed like the staff in the kitchen were working pretty fast, don't know if it was because of the time of day or if they were truly busy, but they worked my order out pretty darn fast. I guess you could say, "That's some fast food." What a cheesy joke. Anyway, I got my food a lot faster than I had assumed and was on my way out in no time. The food itself was really great, the portions you get for the money you give.. I can't stress it enough how much more you get for your money than you do at TacoBell. I actually had food inside of my burrito, instead of have a few meat crumbs and 3 pieces of shredded cheese rolled inside a raw tortilla like TacoBell gives out. I can't see myself going to TacoBell anymore after this visit to Taco Casa. I cant forgive myself for missing out all this time. I have had lunch here a couple of times. The first thing is that they will not have you out the door fast like McDonalds. The food has been decent both times I have been there. It tastes a lot better than Taco Bell, but I do not know if that is saying much since Taco Bell sucks. Ok, it is not as good as Dell Taco. The portions are a good size. Went here thru the drive thru at 12:30 today. The young lady taking orders needs training in people skills. When she read me back my order it sounded like she said mild sauce. I had asked for no sauce so I said, "no sauce on the burrito." She said, "that's what I said no sauce." In my opinion, she is trying to correct the customer instead of simply saying "yes ma'am." or something like that. She just sounded rude from the get go. She needs to friendly up.
