Little did I know that they added rice and beans as extras. And while I was the only customer I figured that it would be a quick turnaround. It wasn't. I had a 15 min conversation with the cashier who was nice enough. How long does it take to cook eggs on a flat grill and chorizo? When I got my order out the bag a river of red grease flowed freely. They cut the burrito for me! That was nice... it was messier than I expected. Not gonna try again as there are other taquerias in the area to try. The place is clean. Have to give em that.

I had a gordita de masa not harina de Rajas with cheese. One taco each of barbacoa, lengua, and chicharron. I also had a side of borracho beans and they were so freaking good just as if I had made them at home. The employee Abigail was super nice even asked us if we wanted to hear any specific type of music. All in all we are definitely coming back!

We're big green salsa fans. The first table salsa had a fair amount of cumin in it. Not my favorite. The more piquant red was very good, very authentic and the green was muy picante! Delicious! We perused the menu; but ultimately we ordered simply. They have all kinds of wonderful combos; but I just wanted enchiladas. I did ask for salsa verde on the chicken enchilada; but when they came, they were all covered in chili gravy. My husband spotted a lunch special and so we asked if he could have it even though it wasn't lunchtime, and it was okay with a $2 upcharge. Happily, he ordered the tostada/soft taco, beans and rice plate and an additional two crispy beef tacos a la carte. My spouse enjoyed it all. It was just straight up Tex Mex; but good. So were my enchiladas. They were well filled and the meat was seasoned. The chicken was in chunks not shredded which texturally was wonderful. My only real complaint was that I found the music way too loud whether it was Country (and why Country?) or Mexican and they did turn it down when asked. It's also my hope that will get the plumbing fixed in the Ladies Room. To have to place all paper in a trash can that's across the room by the door means moving the trash can back and forth. That's totally unhygienic. There is plenty of parking in this strip center parking lot.

This time it was just not good. Portions were not even a full torta, the meat barely covered the bread and look at the beans!!! The crema (which she called mayonnaise) wasn't enough for the full sandwich, and we had to ask for tomatoes on the side, even though the server said it came with them. I would not recommend this place anymore.

One thing that was new to me, and I don't know if this is reflected across all other locations was the ordering kiosks. This technical advance is neat, but it wasn't the most user friendly and some of the verbiage and options caused confusion. This was annoying that there weren't any human attendants to help out, and there was a line so you felt pressure to figure it out and quickly The menu offers a vast number of tacos. There's virtually a taco that anyone can enjoy. They have chips and queso, guacamole, alcoholic drinks, etc The food was great. It always is. I typically get a trailer park trashy, some other taco, and chips and queso. It didn't take long to get our meal. I will say that the playing, especially for the queso, was messy. Also, the restaurant was packed and it was hard to find a spot. It was probably difficult to bus and clean everything, but the space was less than immaculate Some tips: I do like that they offer breakfast tacos - served all day. So, you don't have to make sure you order before the breakfast menu goes away, because it never does I have found that if you order chips and queso to go it seems like you're getting more of both the chips and queso Cheers!!

Having stumbled across this mini taqueria / carniceria while searching for good food around Mansfield, I couldn't be more elated to patronize this family owned spot. For starters, this is my kind of establishment. Zero pretension, no room for BS, and lots of excellent food that caters to the niche community that seeks it out. It is mainly a store that happens to sell various meats, along with limited groceries, and even cowboy hats (#1) with a couple of picnic tables for formality. The carnitas are indeed the real deal, with all the piggy parts lined up by the pound. There is also chicharron strips, orejas in slices, and breakfast options from potatoes and eggs to carne guisada in their hot display. Their enchiladas and gorditas are excellent and I was pleasantly surprised by the barbacoa, which was chock full of flavor. The staff working there typically caters to a Spanish-speaking crowd, so if one is not ready to make an attempt en español, then be prepared to point at some photos (#2) or bring some friends who can translate. As I understand it, they've recently opened up third-party delivery options, so folks can order virtually if needed. Since they're only open till 4pm daily, I'd recommend this as a lunch destination. ___________ (#1) Which might be the most Texas thing ever. (#2) Start with mine. They're tasty.
