Food was great! Very authentic, nothing fancy but that's honestly the best part. And the young lady at the front has the absolute best customer service I've seen in my life

I hold my 5 stars near and dear to my heart so to get one you have to check off a few boxes. They had wonderful food and just as good customer service. The tacos were amazing, the burrito was even better because of the size and how delicious it was. The inside was small but it was cozy so I loved even with the limited seating. The verde salsa tasted great while the red salsa was hot and good so I enjoyed the nice sweat it gave me. We will be back even though it is 40 minutes from me

Not worth the standing in small area to order with people not wearing masks! Never saw clerk sanitize hands while handling cash & credit. Dave your time & drive to Dallas for Gorditas & Tamales.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the breakfast tacos. We tried each flavor. They were all a bit bland and sad. I would say the basic bean and cheese taco was the best. The salsa was good.

I felt like I was in a school cafeteria because of this. I will say the music was nice and at a suitable volume. It was not played so loud that it interfered with conversation, especially if you wanted to eavesdrop on the table next to you. The menu was very limited. Food service was very slow. When the food finally arrived it was dried out and overcooked. My shrimp looked like it was cooked over a campfire like a marshmallow, complete with a black charred covering. Staff was very nice. Margaritas were pretty good. If you want to drink a lot, you should have plenty of time to drink 2-3 overpriced drinks before your food arrives. Wait staff is good about returning to see if you need another drink. I will certainly not be returning.

Everything was served as expected and all was freshly made. Now to the concerning part. As we were leaving there was a really bad smell of sewage. My husband mentioned it and at first I didn't smell it until I moved a little further towards the door. Our friends who were with us also smelled it. I don't think that's healthy and definitely not a good sign. Wish we had smelled that before we were seated. Please get that fixed. We will keep to the Waxahachie location.

Now for the very cold pricklies - despite the food being run to tables quickly, the majority of ours was room table - the chicken wings were awful, room temp and not cooked to the way I requested them. The 3 people in my party each ordered 2 drinks, Coors Light, Draft Beer and Paloma - it took FOREVER to get drinks from the bar - again, busy night, but it shouldn't take 15 plus minutes to get bottled beer and a draft Finally, and most disconcerting was the total of our bill - 2 appetizers, 2 meals (Chicken Caesar Wrap & Chicken Pasta) and 2 rounds of drinks came to $180.......that's right, $180 BEFORE tip.....I wish I could tell you how much everything was but prices are NOT on the menu. In conclusion, a super cool vibe......but given our experience capped off by getting blindsided with a bill that was at least $60 higher than we expected......too many fantastic options in the DFW to get gouged, therefore we will not be returning

She is an OUTSTANDING employee, who knows the menu well and the history of the house .Setting is a beautifully restored Victorian house that was moved to this location3 or 4 years ago.. We LOVED the ambiance of the interior and Sarah made our experience even more memorable.. The lunch on our 1st visit was the pulled pork , and beef stroganoff ..Both were outstanding meals,. only complaint was pulled pork was just a TAD salty, but still quite edible and delicious.. .. This Sunday we went for Brunch and we had the Steak Benny and Chilaquiles, with a appetizers of the candied bacon (the best we have ever had) and Mama's biscuits, both OUTSTANDING..Weather was GREAT, so we sat on the patio.. Farm fresh is an understatement, you can taste the difference and quality in the meat, and vegies.. You owe yourself a treat to dine here a least once.. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions you get.

Once you step inside, you're greeted by a beautiful, upscale dining area with a separate bar that gives the restaurant a unique atmosphere. We were celebrating our mother's birthday, and the staff made it extra special with a birthday card. Such a thoughtful touch! Our waiter, Ian, was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and provided excellent service. The food is fresh and farm-to-table, and I tried the Truffle Hog Fries--don't let the name scare you! Our friends said you're in for a treat then, The Mill is FANTASTIC with delicious menu entrees. Fortunately, our friends had made reservations since the restaurant was hopping. My wife and I had also taken a peek at the menu before our visit, so we both had an idea of what we were going to order. It was SO wonderful to see our dear friends. Gracie, our gracious and ever-smiling server during our visit, asked if we had any questions about any of the items on the menu. We told her no, and asked if I could order one of everything. My wife shot that down immediately! I ordered a spiced brown sugar latte to start with. My wife decided on the "Berry French Toast." She's never met a French Toast she didn't like. I ordered the "Bacado Omelette" (bacon, cheese, avocado, and mushrooms) with a side of cheese grits. Our friends ordered a breakfast burrito and avocado toast. The Mill is beautifully decorated and has an incredible staff. Everyone there was SO friendly. While we waited for our brunch entrees, we had such a great time catching up. It was so wonderful seeing our dear friends. I kept sipping on my spiced brown sugar latte, yummy! Just like magic, Gracie appeared at our table with a tray full of deliciousness! Everything looked phenomenal. There was a fresh flower on each of the platters! What a beautiful touch! The platters were picture perfect, and the entrees were even better. My wife had a huge smile on her face. She was in heaven. My omelet was incredible, but the star of my platter was The Mill's Cheese Grits. In our household, cheese grits were a staple, especially at our backyard barbecues. I thought my mom made the best cheese grits, but these had her beat hands down. I almost ordered another side of them. A sincere thank you goes out to The Mill's staff, kitchn, and front end, and Gracie, our incredible server during our brunch gathering. We'll be back again REAL soon to explore more of the menu options.

The plates were beautiful and pits had flowers that elevated the look of the dish. The food was quite bland. I was surprised by the shrimp and grits after eating the description, but there was no Gouda flavor to be found. I'm not sure if the mustard seed cut all of the flavor out or what the deal was. I did like the greens on the side, I found the sweetness of the dressing very pleasant. My son had the s'mores waffle and the waffle itself was bland but all the sugar on top covered it, so he knocked off a pretty good chuck of his meal.
