There's not enough I can say to truly show everyone how great of a place this is. We moved to Texas back in August of '24 and this was our first coffee shop we tried (recommended by our realtor) and have been back weekly if not more since. Since then, we've truly made family with the staff here. Not only is their coffee phenomenal (and roasted in house) but their atmosphere they've created is like no other. The decor is so vibey, whether you want to study, have a meeting, bring your family, host an event in their awesome back patio. It's truly perfect for every occasion. Not to mention they support missions, and are just a place of genuine, loving, people. 1000000/10 P.S. all their coffee is amazing but personally recommend a "Meadow Cappuccino" , matcha latte, and maple bourbon latte

Brief update: Moravian Coffee is a lovely place to spend some time with a cup of coffee. There have been decor changes that make this a very comfy place. New tables and seating of all kinds. The only other update is the coffee. There seemed to be more international offerings. We had a Ugandan roast today, a slow pour. 12 Oz. $6. Delicious. The service was kind and informative.

We just moved to the area and this was our first time at Moravian coffee. We ordered 2 House-made Vanilla lattes & 1 House-made Maple Bourbon latte. The espresso was very smooth! Both baristas were super sweet and helpful. Inside the coffee shop it was very relaxing and peaceful. Outside they have a gated area with a stage, couches, and more seating areas. My toddler was able to run around safely outside while I enjoyed my latte! I will definitely be back!

Thrilled to finally have another coffee shop to enjoy in Midlothian. One with plenty of seating, indoors and out that also has a roaster on site. The sign outside says drive thru, but I haven't tried that yet. Hours posted online say 7:00-7:00 Tues- Sat 7-2:00pm Sun & Mon Location is on the far north side of Midlothian nearish the Police Station in the former location of Lighthouse Coffee. Enter the building from the side, which is probably where you will park. The atmosphere is very glam/chill. Somewhere between a gentleman's study and a boho apartment. Dark lighting, wood, plants. The music was pleasant without being intrusive. You will not have trouble finding a quiet nook to work or read; pretty much the only coffee shop I know that I can say that about. So while this may be a trek if you live across town, at least you can sit and enjoy for a bit. Drink menu has some fun options, there is also a small case of pastries. Hopefully that is expanded over time, not decreased like I see happen with some places. I know there can be a high business cost involved on that end. They have a nice roasting set-up in the corner. Big Probat roaster, heat sealer for bagging, pallets of beans around the cafe. Overall it's a great setting, my drink was good, service went smoothly. I will be back.

Was in the area and decided to stop by This place is so cool on the inside. Great location right off 287/9th Street. Plenty of parking on both sides of building, also has drive thru as well. The menu is small but has lots of great options. From Cold, hot coffees, and great Teas. They have small amount of pastries to purchase. Baked there daily. I meet Carson, one of the owners while waiting for my order. He explained how they bought the shop from the church back in February. He was very friendly. He spoke about how this was a GOD thing since they were already involved in the production of the coffee for them before the sell of the place. They are doing amazing things with that attitude. I got a Cappuccino with caramel, and a blueberry scone. They were both delicious! I even went back and bought 2/pumpkin spice and blueberry scones to take home. The decor is very laxed back, from inside to patio area outside. It screams, come in and stay as long as you want. There's plenty of room for small groups, a loft area upstairs for larger parties. And the open patio is just the perfect spot to hang with friends. This place is PERFECT!! It won't disappoint on any level.

Wings were on the rubbery side not crispy. Brisket salad was mostly toppings, little lettuce. Brisket was flavorful but dry. The place was fully booked, but the hostess saved the day and offered us lounge seating on the sofas. Honestly, it felt a little VIP...like we'd accidentally wandered into the cool kids' corner. I halfway considered putting on my sunglasses indoors just to commit to the moment, maybe even asking if they offered bottle service in the lounge. Within 10 minutes we were settled in and already getting excellent service. And as if the vibe wasn't good enough, there was a one‑man show crooning jazzy tunes in the background. He was smooth, talented, and added just the right soundtrack for an early dinner. Think "speakeasy energy," but suburban‑friendly. Now, the food. My husband ordered the Crunchy Pig sandwich, my sister went for the half rack of ribs, and I claimed the smoked turkey BLT. Everything hit the table about 20 minutes later, hot, fresh, and so lip‑smacking tasty that we inhaled every bite before remembering we meant to take pictures. My apologies to the food‑photo purists; trust me, the plates were camera‑ready before we destroyed them. If you find yourself wandering around The District in Midlothian, do yourself a righteous favor and grab a memorable meal here. Great food, great service, great music, and apparently great sofas.

Our friends said you're in for a treat then, The Mill is FANTASTIC with delicious menu entrees. Fortunately, our friends had made reservations since the restaurant was hopping. My wife and I had also taken a peek at the menu before our visit, so we both had an idea of what we were going to order. It was SO wonderful to see our dear friends. Gracie, our gracious and ever-smiling server during our visit, asked if we had any questions about any of the items on the menu. We told her no, and asked if I could order one of everything. My wife shot that down immediately! I ordered a spiced brown sugar latte to start with. My wife decided on the "Berry French Toast." She's never met a French Toast she didn't like. I ordered the "Bacado Omelette" (bacon, cheese, avocado, and mushrooms) with a side of cheese grits. Our friends ordered a breakfast burrito and avocado toast. The Mill is beautifully decorated and has an incredible staff. Everyone there was SO friendly. While we waited for our brunch entrees, we had such a great time catching up. It was so wonderful seeing our dear friends. I kept sipping on my spiced brown sugar latte, yummy! Just like magic, Gracie appeared at our table with a tray full of deliciousness! Everything looked phenomenal. There was a fresh flower on each of the platters! What a beautiful touch! The platters were picture perfect, and the entrees were even better. My wife had a huge smile on her face. She was in heaven. My omelet was incredible, but the star of my platter was The Mill's Cheese Grits. In our household, cheese grits were a staple, especially at our backyard barbecues. I thought my mom made the best cheese grits, but these had her beat hands down. I almost ordered another side of them. A sincere thank you goes out to The Mill's staff, kitchn, and front end, and Gracie, our incredible server during our brunch gathering. We'll be back again REAL soon to explore more of the menu options.
