Kinda skimpy on meat but it was good only ask for sour cream & cheese but had cilantro and onion on it to idk how burrito had enough grease dripping to cook a small french fry

Came here from just being hungry. The tacos were not that appetizing and didn't look appetizing either my stomach was rumbling after. I feel they were also overpriced. Not coming here again. Service was okay and the place was overwhelming with how little space they had.

I finally got around to trying this local chain. I've driven past several of their locations throughout IL and have said one of these days I'll go, well today is the day. I placed a pickup order on Toast, and by the time I arrived, there was a short wait for my food. They were starting to get busy around 11:30am as lunch is starting, and I love that this location also has a drive through option, dining in and carrying out. Knowing now, I wish I ordered more tilapia tacos because they're so delicious, it's grilled to perfection, and one of the fish tacos I had had a small bone in it -- that's how you know it's real fish but also be careful. The steak wasn't what I expected -- not sure if it even is, since I saw a bit of chorizo juice / sauce in it. The chips were crispy, but can be a bit more chips to sauce ratio. I ended up with way more sauce than I needed. Other than that, it was a great experience and I can see myself coming back. There's limited free parking on premise as they do share a lot with other businesses in the strip mall. I didn't have any issues today. I'd recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for Mexican cuisine. They have something for everyone.

It's always a pleasure to come back to this place again because of their tacos. That's the main reason why I come back here over and over again. Last time I visited I ordered 2 tacos for myself and was totally satisfied with that. They were really delicious. I would even say finger-licking. They were thoroughly cooked and served so its flavor was excellent. Customer service was great let alone their food. I was greeted and treated well and they didn't make me waiting too long since it's very important for me as I am kind of busy guy. Hopefully COVID-2019 will be defeated soon and we will be able to catch up more often with our close friends in our favorite spots like it was a not while ago. This spot is one in my list to hit after our life turns to its usual way. And I'm pretty sure this time is much closer than we might expect.

Food is pretty good. It's also expensive. They have a drive thru which is nice. Sometimes the sour cream is watered down.

Yes, appears to have a drive thru, however there's no menu intercom in sight so assume window ordering

We stopped in on a random Thursday night to find the bar area empty. That didn't deter us, so we took a seat. The bar area is spacious and comfortable. There's a nice sized-bar in the back and video game terminals (slot machines) up front. Our server, Eddie, was really nice. He was friendly and attentive. He offered suggestions on the food, and the bartender, Josh, didn't skimp on the alcohol while making our cocktails. I had the taco platter, which comes with rice and beans. The rice was a little dry but not too bad. I liked the refried beans. I had the carne asada, pastor, and barbacoa tacos. I liked the barbacoa best. The pastor and carne asada were okay. My friend had the burrito. He said it was really good and very filling. My brother had the birria (beef), which he loved. He also had horchata, which he also enjoyed. The chips were warm and fresh, but the salsa was just okay. It was a little spicy for a few people at the table. I had a strawberry margarita, which was fantastic. I also had a Mexican Coke. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their (alcoholic) beverages as well. The bill ended up being around $130 for the four of us. The service was top-notch. Both Eddie and Josh were awesome! My brother and I actually went back for lunch a few days later. It was only $30 for the two of us. Overall, the experiences were enjoyable. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

I ordered steak nachos on March 1, 2026 and again on May 22, 2026. Same price, but the portion size was dramatically smaller. Even the sides of hot sauce were about half the size. I honestly thought there had been a mistake, so I literally made a U-turn on Pulaski and walked back in to ask if my order was correct. The employees acted like nothing had changed, which made the whole thing even more frustrating. I attached comparison photos from March vs May. The newer phone camera may look clearer, but trust me -- the portion difference is real. I've eaten these nachos for years and noticed it immediately. Really disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite local spots.

They have a beautiful covered patio area to sit out and enjoy the nice weather. I wanted to love this place.. unfortunately, we did not like the food at all. I ordered fish tacos, my dad had steak tacos, and my mother had beef enchiladas. All of us agreed that the food lacked seasoning. My dad and I still ate ours because we didn't want to waste the money but my mother was so displeased that she didn't even eat more than two bites. I love the atmosphere of the place so much that I may go back just to have drinks and maybe chips and salsa, but definitely NOT the best Mexican food I've ever had.

They have the usual menu items like margaritas and tacos with somewhat authentic flavors and things. Coming here it looked much like a basic Mexican restaurant with all the typical decor and everything. It's got a bar and we sat here. There's also plenty of tables. Has about what to expect as far as what to get. It's about $11 for a mojito. The drinks are kind of pricy but not as much as the food though. It's about $16 for an entree. We got the Tacos Mexicanos. Comes with choice of proteins, including vegetarian if not wanting beef or chicken. These have queso fresco which I left off, broccoli, cauliflower, green peppers, red peppers, and tomatoes. Quite a lot. These are served with pinto beans and rice. Had some pretty filling drinks and food here. It's located on the north side of town on Pulaski. There's meaty choices as well as options for vegetarians.

We ordered Skirt Steak, Camarones Diablo, Chile Rellenos, and Fried Fish. I would recommend all of those dishes ($200+ overall check). Plus they start you off with chips & salsa... brownie points for that. Definitely. Also ordered a large Watermelon Jalapeño Margarita ($44 feeds 6 small drinks), very tasty and not too bitter nor too sugary. We live pretty far from here so we wanted to give a new place a try and decided this was the spot. I would say the only part that rubbed us the wrong way was the mandatory 20%+ gratuity if you have 4 people or more. I've always seen groups of 6+ people get hit with this but I get understand in a way to be like every other restaurant / be more competitive. Honestly, we probably were going to leave 20% or more either way but it would've been a horrible experience if our service was trash & they still received top tier gratuity. Thank you Las Fuentes!
