Taco Dinner - A foam takeout container holds two tacos filled with seasoned meat, topped with chopped onions and cilantro. Lime wedges are placed on top of a paper lining inside the container. In the background, there are two small plastic sauce containers, one with a light-colored sauce and the other with a darker sauce, along with a plastic fork. The image depicts a typical Mexican takeout meal, likely from a restaurant serving traditional dishes such as tacos.

I stopped by on Saturday for lunch and placed a take out order. I ordered the steak taco dinner and the chicken tamale dinner. For my steak tacos I had onion and cilantro garnishing, and they provided us with the red and green sauce. Everything was freshly made to order, it was my first time ordering here, and I wish I knew how big the tacos were -- I would've wanted more as they are a little smaller than what I'm used to. They have a variety of proteins that they put on tacos as well, and another thing I wish I saw was where the chips and salsa was listed on their menu (it was hiding under appetizers the whole time) and I clearly was looking at the side orders. I would've loved to try it as it looks like they freshly make the chips in house, and you get them at your table if you dine in. The tacos were decent but I've had better -- their steak reminds me of minced hamburger meat (ya girl has been spoiled by flank steak in Chicago), and I'd be open to coming back again to try a different type of taco and will know to get more because of the portions. I'd recommend El Coyote to anyone in the area looking for Mexican food.

    Al pastor burrito

Al pastor burrito. These burritos are huge and there's homemade salsas for free at the salsa bar. Great friendly staff as well

Supposed to be steak - Cooked ground beef with small pieces of green onion on a white surface, likely part of a meal or food preparation. The beef appears to be seasoned or cooked with some visible herbs or spices.

I have been to this place about 4 times and every time the food is different. I only had good food twice so I will not be coming back. Today the steak tastes and look like roast beef with no taste. I tried the Mexican corn and it was not for me. I like it off the cobb and not out if a can.My son did like the chicken taco and tostadas.

We stopped in on a random Thursday night to find the bar area empty. That didn't deter us, so we took a seat. The bar area is spacious and comfortable. There's a nice sized-bar in the back and video game terminals (slot machines) up front. Our server, Eddie, was really nice. He was friendly and attentive. He offered suggestions on the food, and the bartender, Josh, didn't skimp on the alcohol while making our cocktails. I had the taco platter, which comes with rice and beans. The rice was a little dry but not too bad. I liked the refried beans. I had the carne asada, pastor, and barbacoa tacos. I liked the barbacoa best. The pastor and carne asada were okay. My friend had the burrito. He said it was really good and very filling. My brother had the birria (beef), which he loved. He also had horchata, which he also enjoyed. The chips were warm and fresh, but the salsa was just okay. It was a little spicy for a few people at the table. I had a strawberry margarita, which was fantastic. I also had a Mexican Coke. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their (alcoholic) beverages as well. The bill ended up being around $130 for the four of us. The service was top-notch. Both Eddie and Josh were awesome! My brother and I actually went back for lunch a few days later. It was only $30 for the two of us. Overall, the experiences were enjoyable. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

They have the usual menu items like margaritas and tacos with somewhat authentic flavors and things. Coming here it looked much like a basic Mexican restaurant with all the typical decor and everything. It's got a bar and we sat here. There's also plenty of tables. Has about what to expect as far as what to get. It's about $11 for a mojito. The drinks are kind of pricy but not as much as the food though. It's about $16 for an entree. We got the Tacos Mexicanos. Comes with choice of proteins, including vegetarian if not wanting beef or chicken. These have queso fresco which I left off, broccoli, cauliflower, green peppers, red peppers, and tomatoes. Quite a lot. These are served with pinto beans and rice. Had some pretty filling drinks and food here. It's located on the north side of town on Pulaski. There's meaty choices as well as options for vegetarians.

We ordered Skirt Steak, Camarones Diablo, Chile Rellenos, and Fried Fish. I would recommend all of those dishes ($200+ overall check). Plus they start you off with chips & salsa... brownie points for that. Definitely. Also ordered a large Watermelon Jalapeño Margarita ($44 feeds 6 small drinks), very tasty and not too bitter nor too sugary. We live pretty far from here so we wanted to give a new place a try and decided this was the spot. I would say the only part that rubbed us the wrong way was the mandatory 20%+ gratuity if you have 4 people or more. I've always seen groups of 6+ people get hit with this but I get understand in a way to be like every other restaurant / be more competitive. Honestly, we probably were going to leave 20% or more either way but it would've been a horrible experience if our service was trash & they still received top tier gratuity. Thank you Las Fuentes!
