The food does take a little while to be ready sometimes but that is only because they make everything fresh and food is always great! Weekends it gets so busy. All depends on the time and day you go. They don't give you a number or anything. They just call out the things you order so be sure to listen for that. Tacos are $1.10. I tried the al pastor and lengua. Al pastor was nicely flavored and comes with the red sauce on top already. The lengua was a little tough, dry and lacked taste. It comes with the green sauce on it. Everything is great! Really! Huevos rancheros, Chili Relleno, Chili Verde, Tacos, Pozole, Menudo. Even the American breakfast (pancakes and eggs)...my Mom gets that. What is there not to like. Today I went here and I love the food !! I've been going to taco boy since I was a little kid. Now listen I went here at 6pm ordered my food and I was waiting a good 30m before I had to ask the male cashier if my food was ready . Now mind you I'm waiting in the front by the counter for my order to be called and I see the person who was in line behind me get their order before i got my order. So I got to the cashier and he immediately walks away and starts grabbing orders from the kitchen and also helping other customers who have already gotten their food come up to him and ask him for extra forks condiments etc ; all while I'm just standing there being ignored . Now I am a woman of color ( a black woman ; and I noticed he was helping everyone before he helped me : taco boy has 1 cashier ; 1 register ; and it's super busy and yes the food is great ; but I would say the customer service isnt so great ; just word of advice ; when you have different nationalities coming into your business show them respect and kindness as well ; because they are showing up for you and your business ; not to be treated differently or have to wait longer.
