You walk right up to order your food and they even have Apple Pay. It has a nice dining area with some toy games for kids. They offer lots of drinks. The food is really delishes and fresh and it's made to order. I'm really picky about Mexican food and this food is the place to go. It's always busy here. But even though it's busy they have a system for ordering and picking up food so it is very organized and the process seems to flow. (Hey, if it's not broken, why fix it?) It's a stew made from your meat of choice plus whatever vegetables you want to add in there. Sounds pretty easy to make and healthy, too. Healthy and hearty. This place gets really busy; it's very popular with the locals. Call ahead to order so you don't wait for about 20 minutes. Although the first time I ordered over the phone, it seems like the lady still forgot to do my order because I had to wait another 20 minutes when I got there. Now listen I went here at 6pm ordered my food and I was waiting a good 30m before I had to ask the male cashier if my food was ready . So I got to the cashier and he immediately walks away and starts grabbing orders from the kitchen and also helping other customers who have already gotten their food come up to him and ask him for extra forks condiments etc ; all while I'm just standing there being ignored . Now I am a woman of color ( a black woman ; and I noticed he was helping everyone before he helped me : taco boy has 1 cashier ; 1 register ; and it's super busy and yes the food is great ; but I would say the customer service isnt so great ; just word of advice ; when you have different nationalities coming into your business show them respect and kindness as well ; because they are showing up for you and your business ; not to be treated differently or have to wait longer. I was in the area and in the mood for tacos so ended up at Taco Boy. There was only one person working the counter: taking orders and calling out ready orders. They don't give you a number or anything. They just call out the things you order so be sure to listen for that. Tacos are $1.10. I tried the al pastor and lengua. Al pastor was nicely flavored and comes with the red sauce on top already. The lengua was a little tough, dry and lacked taste. It comes with the green sauce on it. I gave then 4 star for it being a cash only place . That means going to the bank to get the cash since I don't carry cash with me. They have an ATM here with a charge. So it's up to you to Use their ATM with a charge and hope the machine works when you get there or just go to your bank to get your cash.
