Bland,
J C.

The end of an era. These USED to be my favorite taco spot. If anyone recommended a place, this is where I'd send them. Unfortunately, they've changed recently. The meat isn't the same, it's bland and fatty. The red salsa isn't as good as it used to be. They're barely give you any meat & to top it off they forgot the onion & cilantro making the tacos even blander than you can imagine. Sadly, the hunt for the best tacos continues.

Los Barrigones always hits the spot on a Sunday Night!! The tacos are always amazing, the asada and chorizo are so flavorful and my go to. I also recommend a asada mulita and burrito, something about the seasonings of the meat and cheese together hit! Oh and the night employees are always so nice and chill. Yall need to take some time to try them out on the weekends.

Corn beef hash, sooooooo delicious!

It is so comforting to know that after many many years, the food is always delicious. The breakfast is my favorite, I always get the corned beef hash with biscuits and gravy. This dish reminds me of my grandma and my childhood. My husband got the steak and eggs, left a clean plate! You definitely cannot get this home style taste at Norms. Great hospitality as well. Thank you Chefs!!!

BEST DAMN TACOS AROUND. Seriously you guys. I am pretty serious about my tacos and this is the spot to go to. They are open Thursday-Sunday and usually just after hours. They have Mexican bottled sodas and awesome salsas.

So the taco service is available Wed-Sun and they are open till 1am. Delicious tacos, mulitas and burritos. The tortillas for the tacoa taste delicious; different from your traditional ones... They taste corny if that makes sense and they are dip lightly in oil. Green sauce is delicious is has a kick but good. Stop by its great! Been following them for 8yrs. Totally worth it! Formally "Los Barrigones"

He made sure we were taken care of throughout our visit and was especially attentive during the birthday celebration. We really appreciated his great service and kindness. The mole was absolutely delicious, and the handmade tortillas made it even better. The combination gave the dish such a special flavor! Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back. Thank you, Alex, for taking such good care of us!

The horchata was just evaporated milk. We returned both and they tried charging at the end when the bill was asked for. We weren't the only table returning drinks either. Food was bite size for full price. DO NOT RECOMMEND. On the bill they up charge EVERYTHING! I got quesabirria tacos (4 count) they give you the smallest tortilla ever for one and second the plate comes with a side bowl of consome and they tried to charge me $4 for it even though it was never disclosed on the menu or myself when ordered. My brother in law got enchiladas and asked for chicken as the meat and they charged $22 for the plate PLUS THE CHICKEN ($4) when I confronted the waiter, he just said "oh I can just remove that" ??? SO HE WAS AWARE OF THE CHARGE AND ASSUMED I WOULD NOT NOTICE? DO NOT COME UNLESS YOU WANT TO EAT HORRIBLE BITE SIZE FOOD FOR FULL PRICE!

They were fresh, crunchy, with ample green tomatillo salsa that was flavorful, making for a very authentic bite. The beans were very good and complemented the chilaquiles perfectly. Authentic Mexican flavors showcased well. Service: The waitress was friendly, attentive, and joyfully answered my questions about the menu. I also asked about the traditional colorful head piece located behind glass next to the register and learned that it is a Chinelo, a traditional iconic carnival character from Morelos, Mexico. It is clear, the restaurant owners are proud of their heritage and are sharing it with everyone. Ambiance: The small but cozy restaurant features an incredibly vibrant, maximalist indoor garden vibe that immediately makes you feel like you are dining inside an enchanted greenhouse. Dense artificial greenery blankets the walls and ceiling. The cozy, casual neighborhood layout is packed with personality, featuring playful multicolored floral tablecloths, festive flags, and unique lived-in accents. It's an energetic setting for a lively meal.

This restaurant is in such an obscure location, I can't believe I was going to a Burrito Track across the street for so many years not knowing this place existed. Friendly staff and prompt service. The unfortunate negative is it's location and I'm referring to parking. There must be 8 business crammed into this lot. With a bar to the right and a laudermat on its left finding a parking spot is like winning the lotto. Now layer in one driveway and you have to make a 3 point turn just to navigate to leave. The short answer is I will absolutely go back to this place as long as there is a parking space to be had.

My stomach was growling while my left hand was holding the pump. I made complete eye contact with the taqueria straight ahead. I started drooling on my pump, and had to use napkin to wipe myself up! I knew I was destined to go there!l lol. Going in, it was a MEGA sized menu running literally 15 x ft wide. I swear can see the words even if you're blind! They have lots of options but the one that sparked my interest was the Gringa De Harina! First of all, I've never heard of a Gringa in a Mexican menu, only just gringo lol so I knew I had to try! Gringa is basically a large ass quesadilla, harina is the flour tortilla, not to mention made from scratch! I ended up picking the carne asada option. Figured you can't go wrong hahaha. Food was quick, it was ready in less than 10 mins. It came with red and green sauce on the side. First bite - omg EPIC!! Flavors of meat and cheese exploded in my mouth, combined with the softness of the homemade tortilla = Heaven!! The sauces made it even better, with a kick! If you have made it reading this far, give the gringa de harina a shot! You are welcome!

It comes as part of an entree, but never found out which one. Turns out the cook/owner was once the executive chef at Angel Stadium. So food was solid, traditional and nothing fancy nouvelle or la de da...nothing crazy experimental...just good solid Mex that will satisfy a craving. The Jamaica was not too sweet not too sour....not watered down...light and refreshing....wish I had asked for a refill or maybe they don't do refills on agua frescos, I don't know. Very nice extensive menu. Plenty of free parking. Tucked in the corner of a strip mall on Roaemead Blvd. Not easily visible from the street in any direction. So pay attention to your GPS.
