I decided to try the Taco Bell again in Waterloo. It was much better this visit. The foods tasted fresh and was very good. I had an order of the dipper burritos. One set of chicken and the other one steak. The chicken was very good. The streak was as well. They didn't skimp the ingredients in these. I think I have a new favorite item at Taco Bell. read more

I've never actually had a good experience. I'll be the person behind the person at the speaker and still wait 5+ minutes to get to the speaker. When I go here, it always takes at least 30 minutes no matter how little business they're getting. The taco shells are stale. I ordered the five piece chicken nuggets from Taco Bell and I received KFC tenders. When I asked the employee what the Nuggets come with for sauce, he was rude to me and told me that we'll figure it out at the window. They're always rushing me. Everytime I come here there lobby is closed by 8 pm. There lobby is supposed to be open until 11 and drive through until 12. I am a doordash driver so due to this inconvenience I end up waiting in the drive through line for at least 20 minutes everytime. Terrible service. read more

Taco Bell and KFC at the same counter makes for convenience but they always seem to be out of something. This is by far the worst Taco Bell I've ever been to. First of all, you can't do mobile ordering, and can't get points for even ordering here. Then there's the food. You always have to wait forever and food is almost always burnt or cold or just not done right. Decided to take the easy route for once and get some fast food so I didn't have to cook. Not sure what animals they have working in the kitchen because they put some serious effort into messing your order. Quesadilla tasted like chemicals were added. Cheesy Gordita crunch didn't have sauce on it and it was pretty evident that it was not fresh and ice cold. It honestly opened and closed like a new leather wallet. The crunch wrap didn't deserve the abuse it received in that kitchen. Dirty lettuce, watery sour cream, very...very...soggy tortilla, and the beef and cheese looked like they were spread on with a butter knife. You can see my first bite where I would have been better off licking nacho cheese of a soggy napkin. Don't take the risk by going here and by the way they don't even give you sauce to help force it down. read more

Ordered takeout yesterday. As this is a mixed chain (Taco Bell and KFC) we got some tacos and a $30 fill up. Super rude cashier. I wish I would've gotten her name but I didn't think of it. The order was completely wrong. Gave me the wrong tacos. I ordered a Crunchwrap ended up with some sort of burrito. For the Fill up we ordered Mac and cheese and potatoes. I was very disappointed with my experience. I went through the drive through like any other place and was met at the window by what looked to be a manager who rolled her eyes at me just for giving her my card. She gave me my food and hadn't given me my drink so I waited for it and she rudely replied with "everything is in the bag". I then nicely said oh no I don't have my drink. She gave me it and didn't say a word and slammed the window on me. Ive literally never reviewed anything but this was quite upsetting and deserved a review. Hope something changes. :(( read more

Forgive me yelp god for I have sinned, I didn't read the yelp reviews before stopping here! The good news is that I have already received my punishment! I have to agree with other reviewers on this place. I like Taco Bell, in fact I really like it. This place did some things right: 1. Plenty of parking even though the lot is cramped 2. bathroom was clean 3. they had diet mt. dew in the soda machine (I have an addiction to diet mt. dew that no intervention can help. I'm gonna have to hit rock bottom first.) The things done wrong, IMO: 1. The service was real slow. They had a line to the door but seating was no problem. The cash wrap girl was slow and didn't know how to process a gift card. 2. Register receipt failed to show remaining amount on the gift card which is what I usually see on a Taco Bell receipt. I wonder about this. 3. When the food guy brought the tray over and yelled out my number I was ready for him! The chips were missing from the meal and as he tries to scurry away I said "and I need some hot sauce too". The previous 2 customers both had to come back 2 times each for a missing item and no sauces. The sauces are not self serve here and they should ask if you want some since they are available self serve at some locations. 4. Menu signage has lower price than cash register. My order was pretty simple so I knew the total price before I saw the total and the total was off. When I checked my receipt I see that they were charging $2.59 for the $2.49 combo. I pointed this out the the guy I thought was the manager and he told me that the prices changed a few days ago and they didn't get the sign updated yet. Well, I don't know who changes the prices or the signs but I think they should match. If they had changed during the operational day I would understand but the next day they need to be correct and match. It was a good story, I didn't believe him though. He did offer to refund the dime but that really isn't the point. 5. Part of my order were some beefy Frito burritos. I like these things and have had them at more than a few Taco Bell locations. These were cold here and one soft shell was dried out, but what was worse was that they had added sour cream to them. The food item is actually made wrong! I don't like sour cream, I really don't. All in all, not good for Taco Bell. This place needs a corporate inspector and some corrective actions taken. I would point out that this is a KFC/Taco Bell combo restaurant. Maybe the chicken is better? I sent in feedback via the corporate web site. I do not like their format to do this, they need your full name, address, email address, valid phone number, social security number, oops, not the SS#, was exaggerating on the SS#, but you get the idea. Way too much personal information to just give feedback. What is too bad is that they indicate they just send the feedback to the store. If the store cared I think their yelp reviews would be better than 1 star. Oh well, they data farmed me, I am sure I will be getting more crank calls in the future. My advice: read yelp, then eat. I pulled a "ready, fire, aim" on this one. Please forgive me, I have confessed now. YMMV and happy road trip to you! read more
