I ordered the costa burrito. It was AMAZING! best shrimp ever on top. Excellently cooked carne asada and quesadillas adorned the plate. Hands down best Mexican platter I've ever had. My husband has the "normal" burrito. D it was good but lukewarm. Our margaritas were watered down and we were disappointed. The salsa and chips were fantastic. Prices are reasonable. Definitely will come again and maybe will ask for replacement margaritas they are watered down again. read more

The place is very clean and nicely decorated. Service was excellent and my server was friendly and helpful. Warm tortilla chips were served with delicious salsa, which I was told is homemade. I got a fajita platter with sauteed chicken, onions, green peppers and tomatoes. On the side were refried beans, rice and 3 flour tortillas, a small amount of guacamole and sour cream.. I should have asked if the tortillas were homemade (I think they were). The chicken and vegetable fajita mixture was beautifully seasoned and the vegetables still had a nice, slightly crispy texture. Definitely a spot that's growing in popularity, in an interesting location. They did a lot of work to turn this old Munchies into an authentically decorated restaurant! The service was very fast, the chips and salsa to start was appreciated! The food was good; a bit lacking in flavor and honestly the part that really docked them a star was the smell of purple fabuloso was overpowering. I personally like purple fabuloso to clean, and I appreciate the fact that it's a very clean restaurant, but it was so overpowering that it was all I could smell and was affecting my meal. We were also tucked away in the back of the restaurant and felt forgotten about when it came time to pay, that was a little awkward. I'd definitely go back, maybe they've worked out some kinks from the early days since! It's very popular! read more

I was so excited to have a good Mexican restaurant that is close to home. I was in here when it was Munchies and they did a ton of work and the place looks great! It is very clean and spacious. My friend and I were greeted immediately and seated. We were brought out fresh chips and salsa. They have a good lunch menu between 11:00-3:00. We both ordered from the lunch menu. We were both pleased with our lunches. The service was excellent. This is great Mexican food at decent prices. I highly recommend!!!! read more

Great Tex mex-food and almost magical service. Nice renovation from the former restaurant. I almost didn't go in there because of what it used to be. The wait staff, some how, manages to just be there when you need something. Try the Tacos Al pastore. I do have to say the salsa bowl has a nice kick... but I still add habanero sauce. The chilies rellanos are very good, but they're poblanos and very, very good. Any way! Try it! you'll like it. read more

The food I ordered here were Tacos that were disgusting and very tiny in comparison to better more authentic Mexicana restaurants. The shredded beef tasted old and soggy with too much cilantro overpowering the dish. The service was mediocre at best with the waitress acting kinda strange at times. My fiance ordered the 4 enchiladas which she only received 3 very disappointed. The meat tasted microwaved dry and old. The food was rushed out and was slop to be honest. We paid over $50 and that's not including the tip. The Ambiance was predictable for a Tex Mexicana restaurant. The interior of the restaurant was cold. This place is very overpriced and very overrated. Avoid this place like the plague until they lower their prices and cook fresh food. No refills for drinks and they over charge and inflate prices for side dishes. If I could give them zero stars I would. 1/5 Stars! read more

Food was plentiful, service expedient and the atmosphere is modest. As for the taste, you can tell it's fresh, but in my opinion, sort of bland. I found a small chicken bone (in my burrito) which verifies it's real chicken. The waiter was hard for me to understand, but everyone else (collectively) seemed to get the questions. In summary, I'll go again, but instead of the big burrito, I will try the enchiladas. read more

This is good Mexican food. I used to spend my twenties in Mexico living in Southern California. This reminds me of home. The service was top notch food was amazing. They don't serve your food on comically huge plates(iykyk). read more

Our new favorite restaurant we had lunch there today and it was so good and delicious. The flavors and the freshness of the food was amazing. The waiter was very friendly and efficient. The decor was warm and welcoming the music in the background was very enjoyable. The prices are very reasonable too. But the food was filling and very well seasoned and prepared. We highly recommend trying out this place you won't be disappointed. It's located right next door to the movie plex theater where munchies used to be. Having had a lot of good Mexican food in places like California, I certainly havent been able to find anything that remotely compares in central New York. Well, guess what? Color me shocked, but thus is actually a good Mexican restaurant in Auburn. Definitely recommend this, food is legit, nice ambiance and good service too. So far I've had the fajitas and the fancy combo burrito thing (with sides of carne asada, quesadillas and taquitos... whaaaat?) No complaints. read more

Absolutely delicious food. I was stuffed. Free chips and salsa also a good addition. Very spacious restaurant, not super authentic feel. However, many tables were filled and good atmosphere in general. The service was good, we were seated right away and attended to well. Wait was not long at all and we never felt neglected.
