This place was in a cute little town in the absolute middle of nowhere but was absolutely delicious and very generous portions. I had a Chicken Philly and the flavor was out of this world. My friend had the Garlic Philly and it was delicious also. The staff were friendly helpful. The place was clean. The bathroom was a little creepy. It was tiny, smelled and the floor was wet, with idk what. But overall I would give this place a try, the food was definitely worth the drive from the highway.

Found this place on my drive home from the Windmill, Keuka Outlet Trail and Oakhill Amish store on my way back home to Buffalo/Cheektowaga area. The service was fantastic, as I ordered something literally 15 minutes before they closed. The young lady at the counter, was pleasent, friendly as well as the gentleman in the back that made my juliana salad. Ingridents were fresh, they didnt mind adding extra turkey, instead of ham at no charge. Great portion for a half size, that I easily will have for a few more times. Quaint dining area, and convient location in downtown Canadaigua.

Found this place last year when I was traveling on my motorcycle and I loved it. I went back again recently when I was driving between Buffalo and Syracuse to pick up my grandkids for the weekend. They are the pickiest eaters I have ever seen but they loved it. One had a red hot, the other had the chicken fingers. I had a 4 inch Philly cheesesteak. Delicious does not even begin to cover it. And the service from the employees was great. We felt very welcome and they answered all our questions. We will be back for sure.

Today was my last time ever going to this restaurant. My sub is not hot and has half the meat on it as the last few times I've ordered. They also said they didn't have Cajun seasoning which I've gotten in the past (after being told they didn't have it) which makes their bland steak sub much more flavorful. It's really to bad because when they make it correctly I enjoy the sub. Oh well.

hey this is Rich White I've written in many times before about reviews I'm looking to see if I can talk to the owner please give me a call 315-521-3300 it's due to a sandwich I received that was just meat not too pleased I had to throw the sandwich in the garbage and spending $52 on a garbage plate and a plain sandwich that was supposed to be a Cuban

Went with husband, on a trip to Lake Canandaigua…read more We both ordered the Yardman breakfast with home fries, onions, and peppers. It also includes 2 strips of bacon, a piece of ham, and a sausage patty. Sounds delicious, but the home fries are not from home, they are likely frozen, and they were way overdone. I couldn't even get my fork into many, and they were so bland. I doused them in ketchup and the "awesome sauce" on the table. No help. The pepper and onions were largely absent.. They were so finely diced, and also overcooked, it was easy to miss. Sausage, bacon, and ham were VERY crispy and a little burnt, but they were still tasty. The eggs were spot on. It came with meat sauce or sausage gravy. Both were very rich. I passed on my meat sauce (too much allspice and/or nutmeg for me). Husband ate his gravy. He said it was sausage forward, with little gravy, but definitely scratch made and good. Full points for that. Coffee was ok, nothing great, a little weak. Now, I will give them credit as we came in at the end of breakfast. So maybe that was it. We got what they had left. The staff was great! I think we missed the mark and should have gone with garbage plates.

Thankfully, they answered the phone and let us know they open at 9:00. The two people working were very nice and went out of their way to whip up a small batch of sausage gravy for me. My husband loved the meat sauce (we don't have anything like this back home). Don't bother with the coffee though-just get a bottled beverage-they have plenty of choices!

We came as a larger group and they were nice enough for us to order from the breakfast menu as they switched over the lunch menu at 11:30am. Our table enjoyed the food but all agreed it wasn't worth the price point. I tried the chocolate croissant with homemade butter and maple bacon jam along with the Canadian bacon Benedict. The chocolate croissant was nice with the maple bacon jam but definitely not worth the price point of $12. The croissant was quite smaller, like the chocolate croissants you can get from Costco or Starbucks. The Canadian bacon eggs Benedict however was delicious and I really enjoyed it! I just am not sure again it was worth the high price point. However I definitely felt the service was missing. As we were the only ones in the dining area, I felt the service was missing the mark. The server saw we were carrying a baby in the restaurant but didn't ask if we wanted a high chair. My mother-in-law spied it in the corner and then we had to ask for it and we proceeded to set it up at the table. As I was with 2 young kids, I ordered some simple items before the main course like their chocolate croissant and fruit cup. I assumed the server would ask if we wanted those ahead of time but that didn't happen. He also had forgotten my son's drink order and which my son actually had to ask him after some time "where's my juice?" My older son had ordered the s'mores waffles and it looked good when it was delivered but as I cut some of it for me to try later on, I soon realized the batter was uncooked in the middle of most of them. I was thoroughly disappointed he had eaten some of it before I discovered it was uncooked. The server throughly apologized and they remade the order which in the end, we ended up taking home with us. They also didn't take the order off the check for us which normally that would happen. For such a classy restaurant, we would think they would know how to make waffles and for more top-notch service. I think next time we will just enjoy the nice views and choose to eat somewhere else when we are in the area.

Rachel our server was great at getting the girls real coloring books and a big assortment of crayons. Somebody is really thinking about the little kids. Huge selection of New York beers, wines, and ciders. I tasted the girl's cheese pizza. This is not your average cheese pizza. I truly wish I had taken the time to analyze the complexity of the sauce, because I would love to make something half as nice. Omah (the grandmother, my wife) had fried ravioli. The shells were nice, golden and crunchy. But the cheese filling was some magical mixture of mozz and ricotta that dazzled my tongue. I had the NY Burger. Background: I am not a New Yorker. I was raised in the deep South, and up to now had questioned the value of anything "New York." (Excepting my grandchildren and their mom, of course.) I expect pretentious and parochial, over-priced and lacking value. The burger I had at New York Kitchen was the best I've ever had. I'm 72. I'm a meat eater. I've eaten thousands and thousands of burgers. Hands down this was the best, ever. The meat itself was super tasty and juicy, perfectly cooked to my specification. The brioche roll was perfect. The Bibb lettuce and tomato perfect, too. The sauce? Magic and mystifying. I didn't expect a lot going in to the restaurant, because the architecture is striking. (In my experience, focus on environment takes focus off the food. New York Kitchen breaks all of my rules. I am so happy to have been there. Thanks to my son and his family!
