I called to make sure they had a place to sit down and they did! The large cheese steak is 16" long so we decided to share one. I also added a side of mac salad. We added peppers, onions and mushrooms to the sandwich. The roll was amazing and found out they are delivered daily from Philadelphia!! The steak was tender and not greasy. I have not had Mac's since 2020 so I was looking forward to this return visit. We were the only customers there on a Saturday afternoon, very quiet. We had a few questions about the menu and the person working was happy to help. My husband asked for meat sauce on his cheese steak and they added this at no additional charge. I was shocked by how much they loaded on there with no fee. He was very happy with his food. I loved my cheesesteak as well. The fries were piping hot and fresh. We forgot how filling the cheesesteaks could be and were not able to finish all our fries. I love the mural in the dining area and the comfy booths. Pricing wasn't too bad. We ordered one combo and one additional cheesesteak and it was around 26 dollars for everything. We loved our visit and hope to visit again soon. 4 years is too long to go without Mac's. read more

Amazing!!! Definitely check out this restaurant. I had a cheese burger plate with Mac and cheese and sweet potato fries with a side of fried pickles. Tons of options on the sides in the plate. This is the first time I have written a negative review, but it is certainly warrented. I placed a delivery order with Macs through GrubHub tonight. First, the order was 35 minutes late. When it arrived, it was missing one item. When it called Macs, an employee answered the phone. After I told her why I was calling, she gave the phone to the frontend manager with no explanation. So I told her the story and it was clear from her attitude that she was too busy to try to help. She offered a replacement order but couldn't guarantee when it would arrive. Her solution was for me to apply for a credit through GrubHub. She accuyme of yelling at her, said she was sorry and hung up. The missing item was bad enough, but the treatment that followed without a "we'll get you a replacement right away" solution was enough me to write this. What a disappointment. read more

This place was in a cute little town in the absolute middle of nowhere but was absolutely delicious and very generous portions. I had a Chicken Philly and the flavor was out of this world. My friend had the Garlic Philly and it was delicious also. The staff were friendly helpful. The place was clean. The bathroom was a little creepy. Found this place on my drive home from the Windmill, Keuka Outlet Trail and Oakhill Amish store on my way back home to Buffalo/Cheektowaga area. The service was fantastic, as I ordered something literally 15 minutes before they closed. The young lady at the counter, was pleasent, friendly as well as the gentleman in the back that made my juliana salad. Ingridents were fresh, they didnt mind adding extra turkey, instead of ham at no charge. Great portion for a half size, that I easily will have for a few more times. Found this place last year when I was traveling on my motorcycle and I loved it. I went back again recently when I was driving between Buffalo and Syracuse to pick up my grandkids for the weekend. They are the pickiest eaters I have ever seen but they loved it. One had a red hot, the other had the chicken fingers. I had a 4 inch Philly cheesesteak. Delicious does not even begin to cover it. And the service from the employees was great. We felt very welcome and they answered all our questions. We will be back for sure. read more

Generous portions and decent flavor combos here. We ordered a Bacon and Bleu and a Chicken Cheese Philly (both 8") and they were very tasty. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The decor has a bit of an outdated feel, but check out the mural of Philly on the wall! My only complaint was that prices seem a little high: two 8" sandwiches = $23, but to be fair we did leave with enough for a little bit of leftovers. We'll be back! read more

I get get my order and tip generously. no side sauce that goes with my order, So I call and ask about it if they can bring it if back out my way. This was a case of a bad experience turned into one that tried to make up for the bad experience. I can't say I am completely pleased, but the efforts taken by the young woman at the counter to make things right was appreciated. Much appreciated. It doesn't take away the bad experience as it still happened, but her efforts are genuinely thoughtful and good customer service. I order dinner for my family of 3 with an order time of 6:05pm (online order). It said delivery time of 7:05pm. At 7:20pm, I tried calling the restaurant a few times. No answer. The phone just rings and rings. I decide to go pick up dinner from somewhere else but take a route that will go by Macs. I see the restaurant lit up and the open sign in the window. I park and go inside. Wait...I tried calling while sitting in the spot looking directly into the restaurant. No one answers. Just rings and rings. Maybe their phone isn't working. There was 1 person at the counter ahead of me, but the hostess did come up and greet me after a few minutes. I explained it's now been an hour and 40 minutes, I've tried calling with no answer, etc. She says the driver is new. But....as she asked me my name, she goes to the orders and mine is on the bottom unstarted. The restaurant doesn't appear busy. I took pics. I have no idea...maybe timing is everything and I showed up at a quiet time. I ask the young woman to rebate my delivery charge and she offers me an additional discount, which is appreciated. After I wait for my order to be completed, she apologizes to me for the inconvenience of having to show up, wait time, etc. That was nice of her. When I get the food home....it was delicious!! Today was my last time ever going to this restaurant. My sub is not hot and has half the meat on it as the last few times I've ordered. They also said they didn't have Cajun seasoning which I've gotten in the past (after being told they didn't have it) which makes their bland steak sub much more flavorful. Food - 4 Service - 3 Atmosphere - 3 (Covid-19 & all) Price - 4 This place has delicious steak subs. I haven't tried their garlic parm sauce but I wish the steak sub had a little sauce to go on it. It was a little dry but good. Some places will add too much sauce, I feel like that could sometimes take away from the steak. Their steak is seriously off the hook. We cant put our finger on it but there is something special about the rolls that they use. They are perfect. Not to soft and not too hard. Our other recommendation is to get honey for the sweet potato fries. To me, it's almost blasphemous not to have honey for the sweet potato fries but that's just me. Seriously though, we love it here and plan to try all the other subs at some point during our next visit. read more

Pretty disappointed with my experience here. I am normally a frequent customer, however, I won't be rushing back anytime soon. I ordered a wrap with a side of fries and was told it would take 15-20 minutes. Not a single other person was in the restaurant so I wasn't sure why my order would take so long, but I didn't really mind waiting. When I got my food the fries were totally cold. I love Macs. It is right next to where I work so I've been a few times. Usually everything is great, my order is on time and accurate. Today it was not any of those things. First I was not notified that my order was ready for pick up until 19 minutes after I actually picked it up. When I did the fries were cold and the salad was covered in items that were not listed and nit things I had added. I had to go through half of my Cesar salad to get rid of olives, onions, and tomatoes. All things not common on a Cesar salad. I am disappointed especially since I ordered at 2 in the afternoon. This place is okay. I just hate to see philly things here. We get it the cheese steak is a philly thing. Come here for lunch as I'm working near by. I ordered the chicken philly the first time and it was amazing! Food came out at a decent time. I was just strapped for time and had to devour my sandwich. Second time I stoped in I ordered the garbage plate. It tasted pretty good but all afternoon it made my stomach uneasy. I don't know why. Serves me right for trying to order a plate from a cheese steak place I guess. Service was friendly but the prices were a little bit much if you want a quick lunch. It didn't take long to get our takeout order and we were off to the park. The 16" sandwich for under $12 is a fantastic deal to split with someone. My wife and I split the chicken cordon blue sandwich which came with ham, chicken, swiss, honey mustard, lettuce, and tomatoes. It was a fantastic portion and the taste was pretty phenomenal as well. The subs here sounded and looked really good and the taste ended up matching. Would not hesitate to come here again and I would try something different on the menu. read more

I agree with Eric A. The Philly cheese steak here is mighty tasty. I don't care if it is not really authentic "Philly"; if it past my taste test. If you want some extra flavor try the "HOT" cheese steak. That is bursting with flavor. Perhaps it is because I live near Washington DC, but the price was very reasonable for what you get (a bargain really). Since we were having lunch, two of us (females) split an 8" sub and had enough. If we had added fries, we would have had to much. The only downer, was no beer (really). I love my cheese steak with beer. It is not a good idea to have cheese steak to go because the sub bun will get soggy, NATURALLY. Eating there is the best approach even without the beer.
