Stopped into eat with my family of 4 at 6:45 on a Friday night. It wasn't very busy in the restaurant. One person was finishing their order and then we were up. The person taking our order was friendly and placed our order correctly. Food is a bit pricey for burgers and fries...$73 later. Burgers were delicious and lots of toppings to choose from. One large fry would have been plenty for our family to share. They overfill the container and throw extra fries in the bag. Our food was ready in a reasonable amount of time Not impressed with the fact that pretty much every table that could seat 4 people was dirty. We actually knew someone eating there and snagged their table because they were just finishing. I would try ordering online for pick-up next time. read more

I am not rating the food or the friendliness. It is 5 guys... the food is... 5 Guys. The guys at the counter were super friendly and doing the best they can. I'm rating the system. Why would you take an order online, ask what time I want it ready, accept the order and the time, and then have it ready 20 minutes after the time I selected so that I can drive over and wait in the giant queue just like every other blockhead who came in and made their order. I do not understand the point except locking me in so when I drive up and see there's a 30 minute wait I don't just turn around and leave. Super irritating. Walked in to have dinner at 8:25 pm. Two other couples waiting to have their order taken ahead of us. One order was taken, leaving one couple and us to place an order. Waited 10 minutes, saw a total of 6 employees-one (the only one working) was sent home by the manager, one was sweeping the floor of the dining room, the rest standing around looking clueless. Neither us nor any other customers were acknowledged, except when the manager apologized for dropping the F bomb. The manager starting closing out one of the registers, instead of taking orders. Predictably good! Fast checkout, even though I changed my order slightly after we were given the total for the order. This place was hopping busy but it only took about five minutes to get our order. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and the bacon was out on hubby's burger by mistake. I could not "just trade" with him as he gets toppings that I detest. The other day I went to Five Guys in Victor to eat. I placed my order and went to sit down and wait. I waited 20 minutes and nothing. My number was #25. Order #26 came up and they yelled #26 to be picked up. I looked again at my order to make sure I wasn't mistaken...I had #25.... 2 minutes later they hollered #26 again. I looked up and shook my head no that it wasn't me. 5 minutes later the woman behind the counter hollered #26 AGAIN and all 4 people behind the counter looked at me...again I shook my head no. Now another employee screams #26 AGAIN!!! I look up and their all looking at me along with ALL the customers. Now a African American employee comes over to my table and everyone in the place is looking at me. He ask me for my ticket. I shared with him that I wasn't #26 that I was number #25. He asked to see it. I gave it to him and he says " Your right" !! Really??? Do they all think I'm stupid. Then he reads the receipt out loud. ( he was the one who took my order BTW) He said someone else must had picked up my order. REALLY???? You allowed that?? Don't you ask to see their receipt?? He goes back behind the counter. NOW I am going to have to wait another 20 MINUTES FOR MY FOOD!!! I only get 30 minutes for lunch. I waited 10 minutes and nothing I left....I didn't want to go to the counter to ask for my money back and make a scene and tell them that they were rude and disrespectful. We go to Five Guys when we want a meal we know will be delicious, no risks of it being bad. Service is always friendly and fast. I always order a little bacon cheeseburger, mayo, pickles, onions and hot sauce and it never lets me down. The burger with the bacon and toppings is in no way "little". It's more than enough, especially when you throw in a little cajun fry (absolutely plenty for two to share easily, don't be fooled and think everyone needs their own order of fries... I mean...maybe you do, and you won't see me judge. I'm just trying to save you some pennies for the milkshake you need to order). Ketchup with the fries please! The milkshakes are awesome as well. I'm really into the cherry milkshake, and ZB loves the coffee. Both are really good and round out an indulgent burger and fries meal quite nicely. I love five guys food, don't get me wrong but the reason I am writing this one star review is because of the customer service that was displayed. So right from the get-go, the girl at the register goes "are you gunna order?" in an annoyed tone. Clearly my mom was still deciding on what to get as she was still looking at the menu. And there wasn't anyone behind us so it wasn't like we were holding up the line. My mom asks her if the burgers were similar in size to a McDonald's burger. The girl rolls her eyes and goes "um we like to think we're better than McDonald's" in a very nasty tone. My mom said nothing about the taste of the burger, just the comparison in size. So we continue our order, then I decided I wanted a regular burger instead of the little burger. The girl sighed because that meant she had to change it in the computer. Heaven forbid. So we get our food, and my mom realizes they didn't put mustard on her burger. So she goes up the counter to just get a side of it. She standing at the counter for a good five minutes. The girl kept looking at my mom and just ignored her. Finally my mom says "excuse me" and the girl finally comes over. She asks for a side of mustard and again the girl rolls her eyes and huffs, basically chucking the side of mustard at her. This whole scenario is mind boggling to me. I work in the customer service industry. I get it can be stressful at times. But the way we were treated was completely unacceptable. Especially because we are paying $30 for burgers and fries! This is the best burger I have had! Nothing chinsy about toppings in fact the bacon was thicker than I ever had and I wasn't expecting a double when I order a burger! Well worth every penny. I have reviewed other burger places in the past and mentioned Five Guys being better. And I liked those other places! But Five Guys is the best of the best. Free peanuts greet you before you even order as well as the bags of potatoes they use to make their fresh fries. The little cheeseburger is just enough for me and they always give you more fries than the cup can hold; fills a paper bag! The Coke Freestyle machines make the the whole experience unique and the Victor location now serves milkshakes. Fries may be too greasy for some, but there is so much to love at this place. It's always a consistent Burger, and has all the toppings and has free peanuts and more fries than you can possibly eat, but the toppings the toppings are always so nice. The Soda machine is fun for those who have never used it to create endless mixtures of soda options (Peach Sprite is my personal Favorite.) order is called by number so make sure you are paying attention. Large amount of seating including umbrella tables outdoors, large tables are the most comfortable the raised ones are a little awkward as your legs dangle but I guess if you have long legs you may enjoy this. If your in the mood for a good old fashioned greasy burger this is the place for you. However lacking a grilled chicken sandwich of sorts :( read more

The food is always amazing. Can't go wrong with a bacon cheese burger. What's cool here is they don't put condiments on unless you say so. I order my burgers plain usually, because I'm so picky so this is great for me. The customer service is alright, nothing to brag about, but the lady at the register did give us a tip about ordering two large fries instead of my party of 6 ordering a regular for each of us. This was super helpful and saved us a couple bucks. The food was amazing. Fries, burgers, and everything else is always fresh never frozen, so it's worth the couple of bucks more you spend than going to McDonald's or B-king. Also exciting, they have the new soda fountains where you pick from sodas and flavor enhancements.. My little brother chose vanilla sprite- weird combo, but it tasted good! My husband got two burgers and a side of fires here for our four month anniversary. I don't really like burgers but these were very good! The cheese and buns were absolutely perfect. The meat was well done and held together nicely. The fries, however, were not in any way to my liking. They were drenched in oil, so much so that they were completely soggy, no crunch or snap at all. You could bend them all the way together and they would remain whole. The color was a deep brown, almost a burned color and this could be tasted in them. I think it was the peanut oil. Sometimes, when the oil is too hot it cooks the outside to almost burned but does not cook the inside well. The sogginess may have been because of the peanut oil or it simply could have been due to the fries not being sufficiently cleaned of excess grease after cooking I do not know. I would recommend going here to get a burger but not the fries. read more
