This place was okay. It definitely seems to be a local hangout as a lot of the patrons seemed to know the workers. The food was okay. Not many vegetarian options unfortunately. I got the black bean burger and it was eh. My husband got the chicken parm sandwich and he said it was good. It was crowded when we were here, so pretty loud. I would eat here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Visited in person vs takeout on New Year's Eve. Arancini was soooo good as was my chicken piccata. My son had a steak that was gone within minutes of arrival. The peppermint espresso martinis were also delicious. A fantastic way to celebrate the end of a year and entering into a new one.

We stopped before a concert and what a pleasant surprise this was! The place is cute and welcoming. We had cheeseburger soup and it was delicious. We also had the French dip and chicken sandwich. The French dip was flavorful and delicious. The chicken was crispy and fresh. The fries were crispy and delicious also. We will absolutely visit again when we are in the area!

I used to live in Canandaigua five years ago and loved going to Eric's Office on Friday nights. I visited this evening and was very happy to see they are still serving great food, friendly customer service and still a great vibe (it looks like everyone has aged a bit). Both the Chicken French and Chicken Parm was outstanding as I remember years ago. This place is a local go to when you are hungry for great eats. Highly recommended

Overall, this is a pretty awesome place. The staff was friendly from the get-go. My waitress was awesome. Very clean place, good menu, lots of choices. Not too loud and I'd say the restaurant was more than half full for most of my visit. Great ambiance well decorated. My main complaint is that they didn't ask how I wanted the burger cooked. And when it came it was well done, looks like it's a pre-molded burger that likely comes frozen. I would absolutely eat here again.

We came as a larger group and they were nice enough for us to order from the breakfast menu as they switched over the lunch menu at 11:30am. Our table enjoyed the food but all agreed it wasn't worth the price point. I tried the chocolate croissant with homemade butter and maple bacon jam along with the Canadian bacon Benedict. The chocolate croissant was nice with the maple bacon jam but definitely not worth the price point of $12. The croissant was quite smaller, like the chocolate croissants you can get from Costco or Starbucks. The Canadian bacon eggs Benedict however was delicious and I really enjoyed it! I just am not sure again it was worth the high price point. However I definitely felt the service was missing. As we were the only ones in the dining area, I felt the service was missing the mark. The server saw we were carrying a baby in the restaurant but didn't ask if we wanted a high chair. My mother-in-law spied it in the corner and then we had to ask for it and we proceeded to set it up at the table. As I was with 2 young kids, I ordered some simple items before the main course like their chocolate croissant and fruit cup. I assumed the server would ask if we wanted those ahead of time but that didn't happen. He also had forgotten my son's drink order and which my son actually had to ask him after some time "where's my juice?" My older son had ordered the s'mores waffles and it looked good when it was delivered but as I cut some of it for me to try later on, I soon realized the batter was uncooked in the middle of most of them. I was thoroughly disappointed he had eaten some of it before I discovered it was uncooked. The server throughly apologized and they remade the order which in the end, we ended up taking home with us. They also didn't take the order off the check for us which normally that would happen. For such a classy restaurant, we would think they would know how to make waffles and for more top-notch service. I think next time we will just enjoy the nice views and choose to eat somewhere else when we are in the area.

Upon arrival, we were told there were no lounge tables available, no explanation. We then asked for a booth and were given the last available "half booth" ( so what is the point of making a reservation?). We did not complain. There are several items on the menu with no price stated, and it is awkward to have to ask, but we did ask some prices as you kind of like to know what you're paying! Duh. Hubby got filet mignon $65 and it was good, but only the size of a tennis ball at most. I got scallops $45 for only 4 of them.Medium sized . Really? In Canandaigua?? The garlic mashed were good, but warm, not hot. Server did not appear again soon enough to let her know. Also, I could have sworn she told us that soup or salad was included with our meals, but when the bill came there was a charge for each. Again it is awkward to have to quibble about an issue like that; we just paid the bill as it was . It should be clearly stated on the menu what is included! All in all, a disappointing experience that cost $175 plus tip. We aren't planning to go back.

So my party of two didn't get to eat here. But strange to turn people away when online, it states the business closes at 2pm. EDIT: If you post a sign on the door with specific hours but don't update your hours on Google, it can create confusion for customers. Additionally, there seems to be a discrepancy between the chalkboard outside, which lists a closing time of 2 PM, and the sign allegedly on the door which stated 11:30 AM close. We didn't even see the 11:30 sign. The hostess also mentioned a noon closing time. It might be helpful to ensure that all sources of information are aligned to avoid misunderstandings. For those seeking consistency, another option nearby, such as Simply Crepes, might be a better choice. If the owner is responding to Yelp reviews, I'm sure he's tech savvy enough to update hours on Google. Also, if last call is 11:30 and we walked in before 11:15, not sure why we weren't able to be seated.

It also includes 2 strips of bacon, a piece of ham, and a sausage patty. Sounds delicious, but the home fries are not from home, they are likely frozen, and they were way overdone. I couldn't even get my fork into many, and they were so bland. I doused them in ketchup and the "awesome sauce" on the table. No help. The pepper and onions were largely absent.. They were so finely diced, and also overcooked, it was easy to miss. Sausage, bacon, and ham were VERY crispy and a little burnt, but they were still tasty. The eggs were spot on. It came with meat sauce or sausage gravy. Both were very rich. I passed on my meat sauce (too much allspice and/or nutmeg for me). Husband ate his gravy. He said it was sausage forward, with little gravy, but definitely scratch made and good. Full points for that. Coffee was ok, nothing great, a little weak. Now, I will give them credit as we came in at the end of breakfast. So maybe that was it. We got what they had left. The staff was great!
