I will start this as I always do by saying I don't give out five stars unless I am really blown away. I come here pretty often. I usually do this for lunch with a customer and everything about the place is great. Love the atmosphere love the decor. Feels a little upscale at the same time. Feels like the local watering hole. The staff is always good very friendly right on top of things food comes out fast. And speaking of the food it's always good size portions and I have not had a bad meal yet. Their chicken wings are top notch. If you come in here around Saint Paddy's day,their Ruben is phenomenal. I will keep coming back and I hope to see you there soon. This place was okay. It definitely seems to be a local hangout as a lot of the patrons seemed to know the workers. The food was okay. Not many vegetarian options unfortunately. I got the black bean burger and it was eh. My husband got the chicken parm sandwich and he said it was good. It was crowded when we were here, so pretty loud. Visited in person vs takeout on New Year's Eve. Arancini was soooo good as was my chicken piccata. My son had a steak that was gone within minutes of arrival. The peppermint espresso martinis were also delicious. A fantastic way to celebrate the end of a year and entering into a new one. read more

Eric's is a great local place. The local ambiance is quiet and pleasant. Local signs and cozy tables and booths give it a great atmosphere. The service was great. They knew answered to our questions and were very nice. The food was very good. Not your average bar food! We had chicken, meatball and pasta soup which was very tasty. The service was excellent! The food surprised me because I almost did not order the burger I wanted (all burgers cooked medium well). I was pleasantly rewarded with a delicious moist burger. Stopped after visiting the Ontario Antique Mall based on other Yelp reviews. They were not wrong! The service was friendly and efficient. The food came quickly and was very tasty. My husband had the fish sandwich and I had a salad. Took some home. The atmosphere was typical of a bar with seating. Very clean and more of an older crowd at lunch. A hidden gem (at least to me) just outside of downtown Canandaigua. The Office is a small bar and sit down restaurant owned by the same folks who operate the very popular Green Front. We had reservations and were promptly seated on time. In a party of four we all enjoyed our menu selections. Just had a really lousy meal here. Have had Chicken French in the past and it was good, and wanted something different this time. Asked the waitress about the Shrimp Soba Noodles, which even though it has teriyaki, is described as savory and fiery. I asked the waitress if it was sweet, which I didn't want, and she said no, it fiery spicy but not sweet, and people say it's even better than ramen. I've had good ramen, and this wasn't even ramen adjacent. This was cloyingly sweet, not spicy or firey in the slightest, and overly thickened with cornstarch. In short, for someone who can't eat sweet food, it was inedible. I told the waitress I couldn't eat it because it would have sent me into a diabetic coma, and she took it away. Asked me if I wanted something else, and I ordered a cup of corn chowder, a special soup for the night, also super sweet, but I ate it as it was less sweet than the soba noodles. Got charged for the lousy noodles even though it was mis-represented by the waitress. Unless you get the chicken french, beware of inedibly sweet food on the menu here. I can't even imagine the salmon, probably overcooked, but with more sweet crap all over it. The chicken french is awesome, but I wouldn't ever eat anything else here. Remember that if the waitress convinces you to trust her instead of being honest and you get an inedible meal, you will be charged for it. Except for the chicken french, there are better food choices in town. read more

Me and a colleague stopped for a quick lunch and found the place packed, which is usually a good sign. The service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The food was obviously made with high quality ingredients by a team who knows how to cook. I had a simple grilled turkey and cheese sandwich with creamy potato soup, the chips had a great BBQ spice. I used to live in Canandaigua five years ago and loved going to Eric's Office on Friday nights. I visited this evening and was very happy to see they are still serving great food, friendly customer service and still a great vibe (it looks like everyone has aged a bit). Overall, this is a pretty awesome place. The staff was friendly from the get-go. My waitress was awesome. Very clean place, good menu, lots of choices. Not too loud and I'd say the restaurant was more than half full for most of my visit. Great ambiance well decorated. My main complaint is that they didn't ask how I wanted the burger cooked. And when it came it was well done, looks like it's a pre-molded burger that likely comes frozen. I would absolutely eat here again. read more

We visited this popular local restaurant while we were staying in the Finger Lakes. I knew that Eric's Office was highly reviewed so we got there early to be sure to get a table. I'm glad we did because the place filled up within 30 minutes of opening! We gorged ourselves on onion rings as an appetizer which meant that half of our generous entrees went home with us for the next day. This place definitely lived up to it's reputation with great service and delicious food. It is worth the wait if you find that it's busy. Highly recommend! read more

First off, love the name! Creative!! I have passed this for years and never had a chance to stop in. We recently moved to Canandaigua and wallah, let's go to Eric's! When you drive by, it doesn't seem like it would be as awesome as it was. What a treat! Monterey-Ranch Chicken - OMGosh! Chicken Parm-yum! Salads are delicious, Buffalo fingers PERFECT-prefer these to regular boneless bites from other establishments that are soggy sitting in sauce! Service is top notch. Online ordering makes life easy and allows for curbside pickup! I would have given 5 stars if there was an area on the order site to put special requests. We had a request for lite sauerkraut on the Reuben but there was no where to indicate that online. I ended up calling and they took the order no problem and were very nice about it. I would definitely ask if this is an option on the service you use for the online ordering. Food, atmosphere and service all pretty darn great. read more

A most excellent choice! It's very versatile & every time I have had a meal from here, it's always excellent!! I brought my cousin on a Tuesday night, and we actually had to wait to be seated, it was very nice weather when we had the warm spell. Any way my cousin and I frequent a great place once a month for the love of family. That night, my cousin ordered the chicken parm & cleaned his plate! I had the chicken French and thoroughly enjoyed it, but brought half of it home, it was such a hearty portion! Although it was busy, we still had great service, the crowd was very relaxed and together we enjoyed our visit. Most likely will return and possibly include the rest of our siblings. So highly recommended but not for me, my husband enjoyed his French dip sandwich but my hamburger, which is supposed to be half a pound was not. It was to come with blue cheese and bacon but what they use is blue cheese dressing and could hardly find the bacon, French fries were good, otherwise 16.99 for mine was a waste. I have been here for a couple times for lunch and I really dig it. It's not a huge restaurant and they do have takeout. They will take reservations. The menu is solid- all of the expected fare as well as many daily specials. The grilled cheese is perfect- exactly the way I like it. American cheese on sourdough, the French fries are also as good as they come. What really stands out here is the kids menu- there are more options than what's typical including spaghetti, a hot dog, burger, chicken strips, grilled cheese, etc. The sides are also beyond what is expected- fruit, veggies, cottage, cheese, etc. My kid is dairy free so it makes eating out with her a lot easier. Plus the food is cooked like adult food- it is high quality and elevated. Ha. Go figure I'm excited about kid food and a family friendly restaurant. The desserts here are also really great. I'm a fan of the coconut cream pie. The food comes out quick and hot. There is a bar with free popcorn. The service is great. For sure a favorite in the area. read more
