A great way to start a morning! Fantastic breakfast as well as A+ service! Definitely give Peppermints a try.

Taco salad... not the usual flour shell but very good. The ranch dressing is my doing.

Last Tuesday was my second visit to Peppermints in Henrietta, NY. And another winning evening. We were a group of 13, so I had made a reservation a couple of days ahead. When we arrived tables had been set up for us and the arrangement was excellent. Our server was also excellent-- patient, efficient, patient, friendly and courteous, and patient. Three of us were children. I had the taco salad. I often get taco salad, and this was one of the best. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We were a smaller than usual family get-together, and stayed about to closing. I think if you're going to bring a group to a restaurant and stay for 3 hours, a Tuesday evening is probably a good bet. At any rate, staff was completely accommodating and pleasant. I wish I'd gotten photos of everyone's food... it all looked wonderful.

Food was mediocre and the prices were high. Our waitress was excellent and very sweet. There were not many vegetarian options and all the salads all come with chicken. Overall it was fine on a roadtrip, but I didn't love it.

The service was great, and the food was delicious. The restrooms have a bit to be desired. I had a Reuben sandwich with french fries and my wife had a Gyro. Both were delicious.

Nice family restaurant on our route from Massachusetts to Ohio. Stopped for dinner. Staff attentive and friendly. Nice menu. We both had bacon cheeseburgers and home fries, and drinks. Would stop here again in the future.

Appetizer sampler (already started on it!)

Not a bad spot. Stopped in for a lte lunch on Saturday, back to school (RIT) weekend. Outside could use a little sprucing up, so could the inside for that matter. We were seated right away and drinks came out quickly. We ordered a hot dog, mozzarella sticks, Reuben, and burger, as well as a sampler appetizer. Appetizer came out fast and really hit the spot. Hot dog was mediocre, and came with a bag of chips. Burger was ok, and fries were really good. Onion rings, tenders and mozzarella sticks were all good, and Reuben was also good. Meal was decent, prices were fine, and service was good.

Great staff and good food! I love good diner breakfast food. The portion sizes are pretty big and the coffee is fresh and hot! It can get pretty busy for breakfast/brunch on the weekends- so make sure to get there early and to bring your appetite!

    Santa Fe omelet

Overall a really nice time, the location was easy to find right off the main road and there is ample parking for the building. I went with two friends on a Sunday at 11 (brunch time) and we were seated within a few minutes so no wait time even for a typically busy time. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and we had our drinks shortly after sitting down. I got one of the specials the Santa Fe omelet with hash and toast. It was very good, nice and light and not overly cheesy. The hash was seasoned well and not dry or burnt. It was a little mushy and I prefer a little crispier but nonetheless still very good. The only negative I had was that I felt like we were being rushed the entire time. For the entire process from sitting to food it was like 15-20 minutes. I came to meet up with friends and so we wanted to sit and chat for a bit but every-time someone came by it felt like we were overstaying our welcome. It could have been just me but that was my feeling at the time. Other than that the prices were reasonable, the food was good and the staff were very nice.

The prices shown must be very old. I was just there and paid far more for the country breakfast than the price shown.

Yes, the line gets long, so definitely get there early. But once you're in, it's smooth sailing -- fast service, friendly vibes, and food that make your taste buds do a happy dance. I ordered the blueberry French toast and my friend went for the apples and cream French toast, and ohhh baby, everything was made to perfection. We walked out full and happy. If breakfast is your love language, this place speaks it fluently. Absolutely worth the hype -- can't wait to come back!

We ordered a couple of jumbo fried chicken wings, The Geechie, Waffles w. Strawberries & Cream, and Steak, Egg & Cheese sandwich. The wings were cooked perfectly, crispy and incredibly moist on the inside. We both thought these were a tad on the salty side, but overall great wings and well worth the $3.75/per wing price. The Geechie was a bit of a letdown. The 3 pieces of toast with cheese in between wasn't anything special, and the steak I found tough and even by "breakfast steak" standards, these tasted on the lower end quality. Also found this to be a tad on the saltier side. This rang in at $26 which was steep. The Waffles w. Strawberries & Cream were pretty standard. We enjoyed the topping more than the waffle itself as it tasted pretty plain with no distinguishable flavors. For the Steak, Egg & Cheese sandwich, the steak was also tough but everything else was fine. On a side note, we saw a sign for specials which one of them was for crab cakes. A single one sets you back $15, which I find very steep for a crab cake compared to how much fine dining restaurants would normally charge you for this item. Overall, not a bad experience. Clean restaurant, clean bathrooms, staff (woman who served us) was kind, but expensive for the quality. Not sure if we would return for breakfast as everything came close to $70 dollars.

So after making a cash payment i asked for a receipt. Unfortunately Michelle didn't know how to print one.My response was," well with the cost of our bill i am sure the owner will remember us. Based on our previous visit I was guessing roughly maybe $40 at best~but $97? I am hoping the owner reads this and forwards a phone call my way. I know there must be some mistake.

The majority of the menu is Turkish, and they are using authentic ingredients either imported from Turkey, or from the region. Our food was yummy and very reminiscent of the breakfasts we enjoyed when we were traveling. First, this place is in a strip mall and may not be easy to spot; second it's small, and despite their efforts to jazz up the interior with themed seating areas, it has a very take-out sort of vibe; and third, there are other things on the menu that I'm guessing they offer because of their proximity to RIT, but take my word for it - stick with the Turkish items and you will not be disappointed! Our order included the 'sucuklu yumurta', which is basically eggs with Turkish sausages served in it's own metal pan, plus the bagel plate, and I had the 'tray' (the name of which I cannot remember) which came with hard boiled eggs, fruit, cheese, tea, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers and a roll. It was almost exactly the breakfast we had every morning in Turkey, except the fruit we had there was fresh and here it was a kind of preserve. The portions may seem a little small, but prices are very good, and I would definitely recommend getting more things than you think you need just so you can try more and ensure you will leave satisfied. We are looking forward to going back and eating more of the menu!
