It's been three and a half years since my last Taco Bell and it will probably be the same amount of time until I'm back. It was average. I had to repeat myself at the speaker. The young lady who took my payment and provided my meal was pleasant. My burritos were not wrapped properly, almost leaving me with beef and cheese on my lap. For a restaurant along a major highway, the lobby was closed due to "staffing issues". This should never happen!!! The drive through line was crazy long and absolutely not worth waiting in. The entire area off of this exit was terrible. read more

A few days ago there were some accidental omissions from my drive thru order. I called, and "Angel" assured me they'd make it right if/when I came back. She was very fair and professional. Anyone who has worked in the job knows: despite best efforts, getting an order wrong will occasionally accidentally happen... Angel and her staff have been friendly and have fixed the problem. This is an excellent Taco Bell to visit, even if there's an accident, as long as you communicate in the same polite and friendly manner they treat you with. (seriously, 5) read more

My a cappella group is traveling through from the University of Illinois. My car stopped to grab a bite to eat around 10:30 P.M. If I could give a 0 star review, I would. Employees are not helpful, and they do not know how to help the customer. I expect someone who is on the phone with a customer to actually help them, but they simply tell you to "use the app" and they don't know anything else. Worst customer service ever! I ordered on the app showed up and was told 15 minutes back up. When I said it was fine that I had already ordered was told still a 15 minute wait. When I again said that was fine was ask to repeat my self 3 times only to be told to leave the lot or they would call the police. I asked for my food or a refund and was told.no. When I asked for the manager at the window I was threatened and ordered off the lot. It's the fact that the system is always down or the you can only place online orders the majority of the time. Stopped here on our way back to TN. Should have been a sign when one of the employees was smoking right outside the front door. Almost our whole order was wrong. I know it was ordered correctly because I was basically ignored until I finally gave in and used the kiosk. My kids hate that jalapeño sauce so I made sure to input "no jalapeño" on everything I ordered. Instead, it was on virtually everything I ordered. My one son didn't get either of his cheese roll ups. They weren't in the bag at all. I had also ordered him a chicken quesadilla and that was in the bag, but of course it had the jalapeño sauce so he wouldn't eat it. Now riding down the road with no meal for my 6 year old and have to stop again. Awesome, guys. What an awful experience! Went to Taco Bell at 2700 Lee Highway in Troutville Va last Saturday, June 12, 2021 and ordered two chalupas and a 12 count party pack of tacos. Cost was $26.53. Got home and discovered that the tacos had a weird smell (maybe the shells?) and nobody could stomach the taste. Taco Bell employees refused to do anything because I didn't have a receipt. THEY NEVER GAVE ME A RECEIPT!!! The employee refused to give me the manager's name and gave me a four hour window when the manager "may" be there. How is this supposed to be properly resolved when the employee can "do nothing about it" and you don't know who the manager is or when they'll be there? When you travel a lot, and are on a special diet like plant based there aren't a lot of options on the road for fresh and healthy. Taco Bell has always been the most optimal choice in rural areas and of all the bells I have been to the team here was the friendliest and nicest I have ever encountered in a faster food establishment. The blonde cashier patiently took our order, while friendly conversing with us. The gentleman (Aaron or Eric) kept coming over to make sure my bowl was how I wanted it (with a smile), even the lady mopping the floor told us to have a nice day and come back. I mean seriously I wish the most amazing good karma on these people as they probably don't make a lot of money why. Give them a raise and their own place to manage. More customer service and people should be this way, but I'm sure it's hard to on an industry like this. Thank you! read more

This is four stars in the realm of Taco Bell. That said, for a Taco Bell, the place was extremely clean - something one rarely encounters at a Taco Bell. It was almost unsettling, I had to keep reminding myself that I was indeed at a Taco Bell, my brain kept rejecting that fact because it was so clean. The folks behind the counter were super cheery, lots of thank you's, have a nice day, enjoy your meal and other assorted pleasantries. Then a bus of college girl volleyball players stopped to get lunch, so that was cool, cause they were hotter than the fire sauce on my chicken tacos. My crunch wrap supreme has maybbbeee a tablespoon of meat in it. I have never seen one so thin. At first I thought maybe they forgot the meat. They also were out of whatever it takes to make the naked egg taco and they don't have verde sauce. I ordered it online and it took 20 minutes to pick it up though drive thru. they had also neglected to give me a utensil for the potatoes plus they gave me sour cream which I didn't ask for and I had to wipe it off! read more
