I get the diarrhea every time. I think it's the oil that it's fried in. That's just me. It tastes great but my gut can't handle it.

Insanity. No rats hanging from the ceiling. Ms. Martha took my order with efficiency and a level of quickness and kindness. Then, after going OUTSIDE to eat at the nice outdoor seating, the amazing, hospitable manager (Victoria) comes outside to ask the people how they were doing. What other manager does that? I asked for a water cup and she made it her personal mission to get me a water cup. For free. And it was a big water cup. It wasn't some snack size water cup, yet a cup with such size and elegance that it might have been one of the best cups of water I've ever drank. Another worker came out and asked if I wanted a refill on my milkshake and water. For free! How thoughtful! Everyone seems to love working here and that makes me love to order here. They even got one of my friend's name's right, which never happens. Everything, including the bathroom, was really clean and there was even a prayer requests jar. I mean, you can't even call this fast food place. That is too degrading. This is a nice, classy restaurant where the customers are pleased because the servers wanted to serve. They even had an instrumental version of Hello, My Name Is by Matthew West playing in the restaurant. That's how you show God's grace in a restaurant! Bravo! Very joyful! Wonderful establishment! Honestly, worth the two hour and a half hour drive! The boys and I enjoyed and I will look out for this restaurant if I am ever in a 45 mile radius of this place again!

Actually, I have discovered that every Chick-fil-A is very unique in its own way. And this one was not different. First of all, I was impressed by the attractiveness of the design of its outdoor signs in relief. By the small dining patio to be able to dine outdoors in good weather. By the open interior space that created a comfortable environment in which to enjoy your meal. By the framed artworks and photographs on the wall celebrating the City of Salem, the Grand Opening of this restaurant on June 7, 2012, and the Story of Chick-fil-A. But as if this wasn't enough, what most impressed me was the quality of their employees here, as in all of their restaurants. Now only were they warm and friendly, but also very knowledgeable and helpful to someone like me, who was visiting their restaurant for the first time. They really made me feel right at home, creating for me an extraordinary dining experience. When it was time to order, a very friendly lady greeted me and took my order. I was able to tell that her greeting was genuine and not rehearsed. I order their Biscuit, Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, with their Hash Browns, and a Coffee. Everything looked so good and tasted delightful. I loved the little box in which they served my hash browns which were cooked to perfection. And were truly "Crispy bites of pure delight." My server so nice and helpful. She scanned my Chick-fil-A app so I could get points for my purchase and then showed me where the condiments station was so I could add cream and sugar to my coffee as I pleased. As I was enjoying my breakfast while sitting in a window booth, I noticed how cars drove by and a Chick-fil-A employee would walk to the cars, that by the way were under a roof, and diliver their orders. This indeed was more personal than driving through a pick-up window. Chick-fil-A always finds a way to make life more comfortable for its customers. And this isn't just statistics gathered through surveys. It is experienced everyday by each one of its customers. I highly recommend this Chick-fil-A as one of my favorite of them all. And look forward to returning for lunch or dinner in the near future.

The first was the cheerfulness and engagement of their shift manager and employees, eager to please and be helpful. The second was the cleanliness and how well organized the place was. I went there today for a late breakfast and the place constantly had customers of all ages arriving and either staying to dine there or taking their orders to go. A friendly gentleman kindly greeted me at the ordering counter and took my order. I ordered a #6 Country Ham & Biscuit Breakfast with Bo Rounds, and a regular 16oz coffee. After ordering I paid using my Google Pay for the convenience of not having to take out my credit card. Then I went to the condiments station.which was very clean and organized to get some napkins, ketchup, cream & sugar, and a spork. The station was very clean and organized, and very well stocked as well. Just like in the other Bojangles a couple of their employees came out to clean and see that the condiments station was organized. I took the tray with my food to one of the booths. The biscuit tasted very fresh and delicious, fluffy on the inside, and with a crisp, buttery exterior. The chain is known for baking their buttermilk biscuits from scratch, often promising fresh biscuits every 20 minutes. The piece of Country Ham was a bit thin but also delicious. I had to ask the taking orders attendant for a paper cup with water to take my vitamins and he quickly had it ready for me. Overall a wonderful breakfast dining experience!

This popular family-owned restaurant is well known for its blend of Mexican and American cuisine, welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. It's amazingly designed menu has a very creative selection of entrées, like none that I've ever seen before in any restaurant. Its flavorful food is served in generous portions, by cooks dressed in black professional attire, that together wirh its elegant presentation, help create that unique "bistro" experience in a warm and friendly atmosphere with a diner-like feel. As soon as I found out the good news that the place had opened once again, I had to be one of the first ones to go visit and dine there. It seems that the two partners had split up. One stayed running this restaurant and the other chose to remain with their food truck. The only changes that I noticed were that some of the signs in front of the building were torn down and temporary homemade ones were put up. They had changed their business logo although their name remained the same, with the addition of the numbers 581. They already had menus with the new logo printed out, and their cooks remained the same, maintaining their elegant black professional attire. I was warmly greeted by a friendly lady employee as soon as I walked in. She remembered me from the last time I had dined there, and immediately detected my happy feelings of seeing the restaurant opened again. After being seated at one of the booths, she took my order. I had a Coke to drink, the Cancun Shrimp Chorizo Dip with Tortilla Chips as appetizer, and the California Burrito with added Chorizo as my main entrée. It was all very well presented and amazingly delicious, as always. I invite you to view my photographs accompanying this review to get a better sense of the place and the high-quality of their food. The server did an excellent job checking on me to see if everything was of my liking and to see if I needed anything, including a softdrink refill. All the customers that came in expressed great joy at the re-opening of this well-liked restaurants. For dessert I had a slice of their Coconut Cake. It was amazing. At the end the owner who had stayed with the restaurant arrived and I expressed my gratitude and well wishes for the restaurant's future success. I highly recommend this Bistro to all. If I lived closer, I would be here dining more than once a week. It's that good!

Just a brochure menu with this saying on the cover: "Generous portions, made fresh, specifically for you." After being awarded the NC Triad Yelp Squad Yelper of the Year 2024 Award at the Yelpies Award Ceremony last year, an event that honored the highest-performing Yelp Elites, celebrating their contributions and accomplishments throughout the year, I decided that this year, as an All-Star Yelp Elite, I not only wanted to be the first to discover new restaurants and businesses, and bring them to the attention of the public, but also to uncover those found in hidden paths that for one reason or another have not reached the public in its totality. And Joe's Deli, in Salem, Virginia, is a perfect example. Located right next to the City of Salem Farmer's Market and its parking lot, where you can conveniently park for up to two hours, enough time to park and walk across the street to Joe's Deli to have something to eat. While I was walking, I noticed a mural with a rendition of people eating at Joe's Deli painted on the side of the building, which I found very interesting. Once inside, during around lunch time, the restaurant was modern and clean with a minimalist decor. The dining area had both regular size and high tables and chairs, and also a small bar counter with a large screen TV and a framed American Flag under it. On the wall leading to the ordering counter there was a poster with a QR code to be able to skip the line by ordering online on their website. Next to this there was another poster with the Roanoke College Wrestling schedule for the season. The atmosphere here was incredibly warm and inviting, making for a really comfortable experience. On top of that, this was by far one of the cleanest delis I've ever visited; it's clear they take take great take great pride in their space. I waited in line as a lady in front of me was making her order at the ordering counter and a gentleman was waiting standing up for his take-out order. While I waited I took a menu brochure from the counter and planned what to order. When it was my turn to order, a friendly lady greated me at the ordering counter and answered some questions that I had about what I was planning to order. I ordered a Reuben Pastrami that came on a white rye bread, and included a bag of chips. To drink I ordered a Pepsi since they carried Pepsi products. When my order was ready they called my name and I went to pick it up. The sandwich came wrapped in a nice, heavyweight waxed sandwich paper. When I opened it at my table, the sandwich was humongous, filled with a generous amount of quality Pastrami, Swiss cheese, Sauerkraut, and Thousand Island on a white rye bread, and was toasted. It was amazingly delicious! So much so that I went back and complimented the owner and chef of the restaurant, in person through the window that led to the kitchen. I highly recommend this deli for breakfast or lunch. For they have the qualities of a great Delicatessen, focusing on quality ingredients, generous portions, and excellent service.
