I happened to be in the area one early morning and as I was looking for a place to have breakfast, I ran into this very unique Chick-fil-A. Actually, I have discovered that every Chick-fil-A is very unique in its own way. And this one was not different. First of all, I was impressed by the attractiveness of the design of its outdoor signs in relief. By the small dining patio to be able to dine outdoors in good weather. By the open interior space that created a comfortable environment in which to enjoy your meal. By the framed artworks and photographs on the wall celebrating the City of Salem, the Grand Opening of this restaurant on June 7, 2012, and the Story of Chick-fil-A. But as if this wasn't enough, what most impressed me was the quality of their employees here, as in all of their restaurants. Now only were they warm and friendly, but also very knowledgeable and helpful to someone like me, who was visiting their restaurant for the first time. They really made me feel right at home, creating for me an extraordinary dining experience. When it was time to order, a very friendly lady greeted me and took my order. I was able to tell that her greeting was genuine and not rehearsed. I order their Biscuit, Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, with their Hash Browns, and a Coffee. Everything looked so good and tasted delightful. I loved the little box in which they served my hash browns which were cooked to perfection. And were truly "Crispy bites of pure delight." My server so nice and helpful. She scanned my Chick-fil-A app so I could get points for my purchase and then showed me where the condiments station was so I could add cream and sugar to my coffee as I pleased. As I was enjoying my breakfast while sitting in a window booth, I noticed how cars drove by and a Chick-fil-A employee would walk to the cars, that by the way were under a roof, and diliver their orders. This indeed was more personal than driving through a pick-up window. Chick-fil-A always finds a way to make life more comfortable for its customers. And this isn't just statistics gathered through surveys. It is experienced everyday by each one of its customers. I highly recommend this Chick-fil-A as one of my favorite of them all. And look forward to returning for lunch or dinner in the near future. read more

Nice people, but slow. Was driving to see my ailing mother who is in hospice care. Put in a mobile order and paid for it in advance 20 minutes before I got there. Did not want to wait around, given my Mom's situation. Got there expecting to find my food ready to go but, no, nothing. Asked a cashier but she had no idea and was unsympathetic. Had to wait around for my order. Not appreciated, because I submitted the order 20 minutes earlier. Honestly, putting in a mobile order saved no time at all. read more

The line was out the door, yet I got my cookies and cream milkshake within 20 seconds of ordering! I also got my food within four minutes of ordering with a line of at least 25 people. Insanity. No rats hanging from the ceiling. Ms. Martha took my order with efficiency and a level of quickness and kindness. Then, after going OUTSIDE to eat at the nice outdoor seating, the amazing, hospitable manager (Victoria) comes outside to ask the people how they were doing. What other manager does that? I asked for a water cup and she made it her personal mission to get me a water cup. For free. And it was a big water cup. It wasn't some snack size water cup, yet a cup with such size and elegance that it might have been one of the best cups of water I've ever drank. Another worker came out and asked if I wanted a refill on my milkshake and water. For free! How thoughtful! Everyone seems to love working here and that makes me love to order here. They even got one of my friend's name's right, which never happens. Everything, including the bathroom, was really clean and there was even a prayer requests jar. I mean, you can't even call this fast food place. That is too degrading. This is a nice, classy restaurant where the customers are pleased because the servers wanted to serve. They even had an instrumental version of Hello, My Name Is by Matthew West playing in the restaurant. That's how you show God's grace in a restaurant! Bravo! Very joyful! Wonderful establishment! Honestly, worth the two hour and a half hour drive! The boys and I enjoyed and I will look out for this restaurant if I am ever in a 45 mile radius of this place again! read more

I was in the area and driving back from Tennessee and I had to stop. I really don't eat any kind of fast food often but I make an exception for Chick-fil-A. No matter what Chick-fil -A I go to there's always a line in drive up or inside. The lines seems to move quickly because they're very organized. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I placed my order and told them I was eating there. I was given a standup card to place on my table, and a worker would bring my order to my table. My order arrived within 5-7 minutes and the girl who brought it to me was very friendly. She even checked on us and asked if we needed a refill on our drinks. ( I love the Southern Hospitality.) I ordered two 4 pc Chicken Strip Meals.My order was perfect. Everything I ordered including their special sauces which are so good was correct. While I was eating I noticed the staff was constantly cleaning. This restaurant was spotless. They have a variety of different size tables for eating. I really enjoyed my time here and I would definitely return if in the area. read more

We arrived at about 9:45 AM and they were still serving egg boat. Ordered an egg and bacon biscuit and husband ordered an egg, bacon and cheese biscuit. Mine was barely warm and husband's was cold. If you are still serving breakfast at that time then the food should be fresh and hot from the first one you serve to the last one you serve. read more

Over the last few years, we have just happened to stop at this Chick-fil-A location twice. We were driving and I was hungry. We saw the restaurant sign on the side of the highway and I was like, let's just get Chick-fil-A. Out of all the chain fast food restaurants, I always feel like Chick-fil-A employees are great. They care about their jobs and I trust their food handling skills. This location is no exception. I ordered a chicken salad with no cheese or egg. They did it right and I didn't have a stomach ache which is always a worry when on a long road trip. The employees here were super friendly and helpful. read more

I used to frequent this location. Recently (past few weeks) I've ordered and 5/6 times my order has been incorrect. Sometimes it's something small like forgetting sauce, but I'm celiac and cannot have gluten (it won't kill me but I still can't outright consume it) and on 2 of those instances, I'd ordered a grilled salad and received breaded chicken instead of grilled. These instances have accumulated, and sadly I can't safely choose to eat at this location anymore for my own safety. I order through the app and know my order is correct and check receipts after receiving incorrect orders, and they are all labeled as I ordered them but not fulfilled properly. read more

We were coming home from vacation & decided to make a lunch break. I was on crutches and walking across the parking lot and fell right before I got to the car. Immediately, one of the boys working the drive through came over to help. He brought a chair so I wasn't sitting on the hot pavement. The next thing the manager came out and offered a bandage and ointment. He then got me a bag of ice for my knee and helped my husband get me into the car. These people were so wonderful. I'm sorry but I love you as a fast food place but the no mask so soon thing, the MINUTE the governor lets up, as a food server to the community and with young employees that may or may not get vaccinated, it was ALARMING to go through the drive thru and see six young employees not even two feet apart clustered together, NONE wearing masks anymore, handling our food, the guy says "yeah, we don't have to now", well sorry I don't have to eat there for a while now, I'm really disappointed in your decision to have no masks around food so soon, with young employees that will probably not get their shots, and covid will probably creep in soon and you'll have to close the store like earlier last year read more

I've come to expect a lot out of chic fil a. Seven hours into a road trip, I saw a sign and decided to stop for dinner. When we exited the highway, I saw the restaurant was over a mile out of the way. I was bummed and a bit annoyed, but I carried on. Hoping I wouldn't be disappointed. I went inside and was greeted by a lovely young lady, full of smiles. I watched the employees interact with one another and please and thank you was used often. Wonderful to see. Whenever we're on road trip and in Chick-Fil-A territory we make a point of stopping. Every location is exceptional. We usually get the Chick-Fil-A Deluxe with no cheese and the 12 piece Nuggets. Real chicken, not pulverized and shaped. This organization knows how to run a business. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. Just based on the past few months I am giving this review. They always mess up our orders, or it's thrown in the bag carelessly and it's gross. (Picture attached). The few times I've traveled back to get the right order, the general manager has been rude which is not what Chick-fil-A is supposed to stand for. I would like to say this is a one time thing, but it has been months of bad experiences. The staff up front are great, but something is going wrong in their execution of orders and they need to get it under control. They are too worried about getting people in and out quickly, than actually making the food correctly. From someone that works in the food industry, it's unacceptable and very unfortunate. Stopped here on the way home on a road trip. Everyone in here was really friendly and courteous, and the food tasted good. Always an expectation at Chick Fil A, and they got that part right. With that said, they were completely unprepared for the lunch rush. They had workers walking around aimlessly looking for customers who appeared to need food and would ask them if that order was theirs... Then a member of our party was given someone else's order. The line was way too long even though it was lunch time (I've seen way more efficient Chick Fil A locations). It just seemed like a very friendly but very amateur staff who meant well but was either poorly trained by management or just not prepared. This Chick-fil-A was clean and the food was great, but the highlight was that they had employees walking around the seating area asking if you needed anything. I was halfway out of my seat to get napkins when an employee asked me what I needed and got the napkins for me. She also later refilled my husbands soft drink. Great service.
