May 6th 2026 534 pm. Ordered 51 Dollars worth of food And nothing was correct. Asked for no onions on 2 subs both got onions along with brown lettuce. No pickles on the side and sandwich that was to get pickles no pickles. Ask for black olives no black olives even though it wasn't ready when i got there but tasted like they had been sitting for awhile. got banana peppers on my sandwich My wife did not but hers tasted like she did which tells me your sandwich more than likely didn't change his clothes between making them For 51 dollars I expect more. It is doubtful that we will return to a firehouse subs. read more

Sandwich was good. Lacked the amount of mushrooms usually on the Engineer sub. Employees all looked to be under 20 years old and although not rude, they weren't overly friendly either. Nobody else in restaurant and they were out of napkins. An employee took no less than 3 min to find mayonnaise packets and their signature sauce. Sandwich wasn't bad but the bread was not super soft like it has been in the past. The trash can was overfilled in the bathroom. There were at least 4 employees and maybe a visiting friend or perhaps an employee who was off the clock. While there, a door dash driver came in and said her order was missing an item. Bring in the hook and latter this place is on fire lol we ordered a large steak cheese,peppers and onion sup and a large Italian sub. Service was quick and the food was delicious. I have searched America for the best Italian sub and I must keep it real for my fellow foodies. Fire house Italian sub was delicious BUT Jersey Mikes is still the Best . Boom! Guy with the chin beard behind the register didn't seem to enjoy taking food orders. Also, not sure when they stopped but apparently this location no longer gives military and first responder discounts; Which I thought was the whole point of a food place made by Firemen. Do NOT eat here! Horrible food/ service!! We stopped by to grab some food on a long trip. didn't have the option to order one of the subs online so we went inside to place the order for the one sub while placing the other online. Figured it'd be a little easier for them than ordering them all in person( was for 5 other people). As we got the one we waited for the online order and the staff was talking extremely rudely about whom placed a online order for 5 subs (us). Also while waiting two of the girl staff members were yelling rudely across the place asking if we were laughing at them which we were not. After the online order came up I grabbed it and started walking out and the guy asked if it was ours and said he thought we were stealing it. Makes a rude ass face to his friend because of us and I asked him what he was making that face for and not to and they continued to say smart shit on our way out. read more

Very slow and inattentive service. Wasn't busy, asked if I had missed something since I'd waited fifteen minutes. Was asked for the name of my order (four staff members and one other patron in restaurant at this point) and finally receive my food. I get outside and look in bag and it is just a thing of Mac n cheese when I ordered a Mac n cheese and sub combo and a cookie. Go back in, starting to get agitated and they hand me another bag with the cookie and sandwich once I point out the mistake. I believe the bags were just sitting there for multiple minutes and wouldn't have been given to me unless I asked. Disappointing first experience. Nothing stood out positively. I walked up to the counter and none of the employees said a word, they just kept doing what they were doing. When someone did come to take my order he just stood in front of the computer and looked at me. Did not even say a word until I said hello. Firehouse has some unique and delicious sandwiches. I haven't tried everything but I have tried the meatball, the Hawaiian, corned beef and the turkey. All have been well made and delicious. They have a modest array of hot sauces ranging from not hot at all to make the insides of your ears burn on available at the end of the counter. Plus they have fresh sliced jalapeño available to be added to your sandwich. They do not however have avocado. Buns / sandwiches are steamed not toasted and the effect is pleasant, but I still prefer toasted. Overall the food is good at a reasonable price. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. They staff are generally friendly and willing to help with special requests. I see in other reviews that people have compared FireHouse to subway. Let me tell ya that's not the case at all. Both occupy a specific space in sandwich history. Side note: I'm informed they will sell new unopened bottles of hot sauce if you ask. They have some solid choices up there and I highly recommend the Marie Sharps Habanero. It's a perfect mix of hot and flavorful. The Maddog was surprisingly tasty in addition to being very hot. read more

We found Firehouse Subs down the road. We had the meatball subs. They were well cooked, well seasoned, and downright tasty. Firehouse is one of the best places to go if you enjoy subs. There is something for everyone here. The prices are decent especially considering the amount of food you're getting. 04/01/21 Online Order - Halfass at best! Half of my Tuna Salad sandwich did not have tomato on it and hardly any tuna salad. The banana peppers I requested did not exist on the sandwich. Consistancy is everything!! Half the time you go in your order is right/good. Other times order is wrong, not heated enough, or a varisty of other reasons. Have had several sandwiches made wrong. Requested no sauteed onions or peppers but wanted mayo. Got home, mustard and sauteed onions and peppers. Took back and was an ordeal getting it corrected. Staff not always friendly or sometimes not attentive to customers but more to their phones. read more

This Firehouse is in a small strip mall on busy West Main Street and getting in and out can be a chore during busy times. With all due respect to a previous review Firehouse is nothing like Subway. They have a good variety of very good sandwiches that are always well made and delicious. The Italian and the Hawaiian King are my favorites. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. They are very accommodating with special requests. The restaurant is neat and clean even during the busiest times. Firehouse is my favorite stop when in need of a quick lunch. They can get you in and out in a hurry if you are on a tight schedule. read more

This is a chain sub shop, with Firehouse and Firemen decor. I personally think they offer some of the better chain subs around the country. They have those numerous drink flavor choice machines. They accept Apple Pay, as well as credit cards. Apparently, only 2 actually have a firetruck in it. This one does not. read more

This is a standard Firehouse Subs location. It was clean and staff was nice. There are plenty of tables to grab a quick lunch. I like that they have a section of choices under a certain amount of calories. That's pretty helpful. I don't generally eat fast food, but this was a decent choice for lunch while making a pitstop on a long drive. One perk was the extensive selection of hot sauces. There were a number I hadn't tried before, and some I might consider buying. It's a great way to try a few! read more

I came in 15 minutes before close after working hard all day to get a refreshing sub. I usually love firehouse. This particular occasion was nothing of the sorts. Immediately after walking in, one worker proceeded to call me and my colleagues assholes. We dismissed the comment and proceeded to order. After we placed our order the same female flipped us the bird while we were eating. One of the most unpleasant dining experiences of my life. This lady caused me to lose my appetite and will be returning to this particular store. read more

I ordered via Uber Eats for two subs and two bags of chips. Well, the subs came, but not the chips. And, the subs were haphazardly put together. No fault to Uber Eats, driver did what he was suppose to do and was very friendly. However, Firehouse omitted the chips and the subs were made where all ingredients were only on one side of the sub. That, we handled by spreading it out. However, when I called to say the chips were not included in the order, the manager said he would give me a credit on my card. Nope, nadda, didn't happen. It's been over 48 hours and nothing. I stopped by the store the day after the order and he wouldn't give me the chips. Said it was my bank's delay and to wait it out. Well, I am from out of town and my mom was in the hospital and sis stayed to help her, I had to return to my hometown and could not go back today to dispute the credit to my account. NO CREDIT, NO CHIPS. I can afford the $2.80+ loss but it is the principal of this horrible transaction. I was dealing with a sick relative in the hospital and it was the last thing I wanted to deal with. SHAME ON FIREHOUSE SUBS who advertises they help first responders, but apparently not those who are suffering from a relative's illness. They didn't help me who had a very ill 83 year old mother rushed to the hospital by a Salem ambulance. It's the principal of this that irritates me, not the $$. The Manager should have been gracious and given me the chips when I stopped by the shop and "eat" the $2.80+ credit that NEVER HAPPENED. read more

Food I have heard is decent, but I would not know because they were closed 10 minutes before closing time. When I mentioned the open sign was still on and asked for the managers name, he said, "I am not comfortable giving my name". That is a complete lack of professional ethic. Luckily the managers name was very visible on his apron to which he turned away like a ranting child and another employee stated, "Let her call". These people obviously are there for one reason: to earn money. They care not about the customer not one bit and there is not one ounce of a little thing called "Work Ethic". Luckily for another nice sandwich shop up the road, we now have a new place we tried and they will get our business from now on.
