I observed the black woman with blonde braids with Eyore syndrome making the orders and her attitude towards her job performance. The customer service here is ridiculous. It started as early as taking our order. She wasn't paying attention to us and was already distracted and kept asking us to repeat things. We pull up to the window and she had the biggest attitude. All we could hear after was her talking to another worker about how long they had left in their shift. We weren't asked if we wanted any sauce so when we asked, she barely opened the drive thru window enough to hear us. With all of that attitude they couldn't even give us our correct order!!! Listen, I'm not one to leave bad reviews almost ever, but I think management needs to seriously look over this location. I originally got in the drive thru to order, but waited for ten minutes before deciding to park and head inside instead. I ordered on the tablets they use, and proceeded to wait forty minutes. Me, and other customers had watched them only work on drive thru orders for these forty minutes even when the drive thru had no line. They had voluntarily not been working on in store orders at all and after these forty minutes proceeded to tell us that our orders stump them which is why they're taking so long (I only had three crunchy tacos). After another twenty minutes they finally started making the orders and went out of order making the newly arrived customers orders first. This was a last minute decision. We had just checked into the Red Roof Inn behind this Taco Bell and were hungry. It was around midnight so there were not many options in the area. I have been craving Taco Bell for a while so this was a great opportunity to satisfy it!! Since we had the dog, I hung out with her in our hotel room while hubs went to order and pick up food. "Company policies" need to be consistent or they are totally no good. I've visited Taco Bell stores all over the country and never have I been refused to be served because I had a large bill for payment.... that is, until now. I walked into this location on State Road 16 in St. Augustine that was completely empty so I guess that's why the help and the so-called manager was in a bad mood. I told him all I had was a large bill to buy my food and he refused. He gave me a lecture about the sign on the door, "it also being Christmas time there are a lot of 'fake bills' ..." and other reasons he didn't want to serve me. I guess the nimrod had never heard of the marker that verifies bills, scanners that do the same, or he was just plain paranoid. I told him, "In other words, you simply don't want my business," and walked out the door. I hopped in my car, drove less than a mile to another fast food type restaurant and there was NO PROBLEM taking my large bill. I'll support that company and will not return to any Taco Bell again. Weird that one guy's attitude and lack of good customer service has spoken for the entire Taco Bell chain. This is by far the worst Taco Bell I've ever eaten at. I live 10 mins away from this Taco Bell and we have given them chance after chance. The Mexican pizza shells taste like burnt pecans like the grease they are using has never been changed, even the cinnamon twist have that taste, completely inedible. The service is awful, I have found old dried food in the soufflé cup of sour cream that I paid .50$ for, the cravings box had dried hand prints with old dried crusted on lettuce that looked like it had been there for ever. I believe this is the best Taco Bell I've ever been to. I've been a couple of times after visiting the ocean and (unlike every other Taco Bell I've been to in the last 2 years) the tacos are consistently FULL! Their other items are prepared just right also. It's a difficult location to get to if you are headed inland, but worth the U-turn and wiggling through parking lots. Literally the last few years I have always over ordered because they will ALWAYS either mess up or not give you your entire order (although they will have charged you for it) see current example; my burrito with extra cheese and extra red sauce. This is two separate trips. If there were more options for food in this area they would already be out of business. No need to return to this location. The people here just don't understand customer service or how to interact with a customer. Apparently, this includes the management because workers are not getting the proper training. Yesterday, we attempted to use the Taco Bell App to order our meal, but had challenges getting it to go thru. So, we went thru the drive-thru to confirm the ordre and pick it up. We were told that that app does not work in this store. Huh? So, we asked for the same items and the same prices. We were told by two employees that their store was not using the app and they could not provide the meal items at the prices shown in the app. After a Q&A with the employees, we ordered our food. We expressed our frustration with the disconnect between the Taco Bell ads to use the app and this store not providing service for the app, to which the employee replied, "I know, we are frustrated, too. We here these complaints all day long." We pulled around to the pick up window and one of the employees mentioned the challenge with the app. I pointed to the sign (painted on the drive-thru window) which reads, in part, "Save time. Use the Taco Bell App." We again mentioned that we like the food, but found the response to be frustrating. She commented dismissively that they are also frustrated and we should feel for them, them shut the window and walked away. Guess what, Taco Bell? We have choices. Our choice is to patronize stores with *consistently* good food and *consistentyly* good service. Personally, I am sorry if your employees are frustrated, but I do not want to hear about it. Those comments need to be directed to management and owners, not the customers. I have not been a fan of Taco Bell stores in recent years because of a lack of consistency in both quality and service. I've ordered from this Taco Bell several times and never had any issues. The food has always been correct and hairless. The employees taking the orders have been friendly and helpful. This morning was the first time I've ordered breakfast. The gentleman taking my order was patient and told me about some of the things I could order, since the menu lacked options for breakfast. I ordered a crunchwrap with bacon and it was really good. There was a sauce used that added a kick of flavor. I would definitely get breakfast from Taco Bell again. 3/6/16- I went back again today because I thought about that breakfast crunchwrap all night. I also ordered a biscuit taco with bacon. Stopped here for breakfast on our way to the beach last week. I've never been to Taco Bell for breakfast so I was pretty happy that I could get anything off their menu - not just breakfast items. I ended up getting the Mexican pizza but really wish I had noticed the breakfast bowl my friend got on the menu board because I ended up disappointed and hungry after finishing. I know it's been quite a while since I've eaten at Taco Bell but the pizza I was served was a ghost of its former self. There was so much sauce I could barely taste anything else, the cheese on top was unmelted and still cold and I'm pretty sure that was all the pizza consisted of - sauce & cheese, ended up throwing 3/4 of it into the trash. The food was good at this Taco Bell and the service was good. I would recommend that they do a better job cleaning the bathrooms. They we're extremely dirty. Worst Taco Bell ever. I am in town for a seminar until Monday and needed a quick bite to eat for me and my friend, just before noon (order# 396232, 11:49:22am, November 5, 2016, Cashier Tracy). The guy asked if I wanted to give a dollar for their charity and, when I said "no thank you," a group of started laughing at me over the intercom AND at the window, presumably trying to make me feel badly about not giving them more money, and as though the food I was paying them was going to be tainted. As it was, it was not made properly, half the chips were broken into crumbs, and they skimp on ingredients like nacho cheese. Never have I seen a worse Nachos Bell Grande. Because of their unprofessional behavior for not giving them an extra dollar, and because they laughed and carried on like a bunch of idiots, I believe the food was spat upon or worse, so I ended up throwing it out. While I wish I had photographed the food before tossing it away, in retrospect, I should have just driven through and kept going without giving them a dime. There are too many other drive-thru places around to put up with this Taco Bell. Hopefully, I am saving the rest of you by warning you about this place.
