This place has been doing it right for YEARS. Great management and great team.

I have to admit I am a big Burger King fan, always have been, always will be. With that stated I…read morereally hate these types of locations where they were trying to invoke a 50s diner feel. What happens is that it becomes very dated, very fast. I have a love for neon and 45s, but the way they are used in here with the sterile white on the walls just doesn't do it anymore especially given the size of this place and lack of use of that space, it just looks awkward. The staff were semi-alert when I came here for a quick lunch making it seem like I was intruding on their personal time rather than serving customers that come walking in the door. I decided to try one of their grill dogs that have been advertised to hell and back. It's decent, but not $2.50 decent. I could have ran down over the hill to the Sheetz and gotten two hot dogs for less than the price of this one. Here's the thing, if I'm paying that much for a hot dog it better be one of two things. 1) Be heaping with toppings or 2) I get to select the toppings and those toppings be unlimited. It was kind of a disappointment and waste of money. Any chance I can get to have onion rings with a meal, I take it, so that is one thing that BK has going for it that other fast food chains do not. One last thing about the food, if you have a food allergy such as I do that prohibits you from drinking a majority of sodas/mixed nonalcoholic drinks out there, the bottled water is a choice, but not a good choice. If you up size your meal you don't get a chance to up size the bottle of water. The one thing that was puzzling about this location was the overuse of the bathroom by noncustomers. From the time I sat down with my food until I finished three separate gentlemen came in to use the restroom for extended periods of time. And believe me, I used this restroom prior to leaving and there is nothing fancy about it especially since you can see everything going on in the toilet stall from the urinal. Makes you think that BK is either a hot spot for bathroom usage (particularly number two) or something else is going on.

Since I drive by here often this place has been on my radar for a very long time. I have said it…read morebefore, but I am a huge hot dog fan and will try one at a new place whenever given the chance. While on way through the other day I decided to take a few minutes and finally stop in. The building that houses Bull Dogs is rather small and gives off the concession stand vibe. It's a simple and small looking building with covered outdoor seating attached. Once inside you notice that it really isn't that small of a building at all. Rather big on the inside which gives you the opportunity to dine in if you like. Now, after seeing this place for years through my travels I had thought that all they served was hot dogs. Once inside and looking over the menu, I was wrong. They serve just about everything else you can imagine a fast food themed place might offer. From chicken to nachos, so my concession stand vibe kind of does carry through. I don't even know why I decided to look over the menu because I already knew what I was going to get well before stopping here. I was going to order two dogs and be on my way. To my surprise there is a menu option meal deal that you can get yourself a bag of chips and drink. I did just that. Along with the concession stand vibe you kind of get the feeling that you are in someone's kitchen. When you order the meal deal you are told to get what ever bottled drink you want from the fridge. Like go over to the fridge and just rummage through it as if you were at a friend's place. The toppings for the hot dogs are numerous, if you really wanted to you could go all out and get it topped with every single thing on the menu. I did not do that, I went with my old faithful and got nothing more than chili and cheese. It is my motto that you can never go wrong with a good chili cheese dog. The bun for this was amazing and not at all overwhelming to the hot dog itself. Actually it added to the experience. It was one of the softest, tasteful bun I have had a hot dog on. The hot dog itself was no mini, pretend to fit the bun, hot dog. This thing was plump and hung out over the ends of the bun by just a little bit. Making sure to have a good meat to bread ratio. The cheese added an extra saltiness to this and the chili was not too overpowering with spices. In all honesty, I hoovered these down in no time and did not feel guilty about it one bit.
