    Shrimp, Steak, and Chicken Tacos

Who doesn't love a Taco Tuesday?! The Tuesday special for tacos was shrimp, chicken, beef for $3 and steak for $4. Salsa Sam's tacos and food was absolutely incredible. The shrimp and steak were my favorite. You could taste the high quality in the proteins. The salsa was made fresh to order. The street corn was divine!! It truly was Chef's kiss. Rice and beans were good too. I tried to order the queso mac n cheese, but that was the only menu item that could not be produced that day. I will come back to try it. The service was friendly. It did take a bit for the food to be served, but I am hoping that was a one off situation as they seemed to be short staffed. The wait was worth it though! It was all made fresh to order. Hands down the best tacos in the area!!

Saw this place when visiting a nearby brewery, and decided to stop in! They are very accommodating and will bring your takeout order to any of the nearby businesses! We ordered the burrito with shrimp, shrimp taco, fish taco, queso Mac and cheese, and shotski dip combo! Everything was fresh and very good. I really enjoyed the shrimp in both the burrito and the taco. It's very chargrilled, and cooked well! The queso is also very good, cheesy with a little spice! Likely one of the best taco spots in the surrounding area. Would definitely come back next time we are near Irwin!

Hands down the best shrimp tacos I've ever had. The fish is also great!! The guacamole and queso were also on par! I couldn't say anything better about the food here! Definitely worth a try!

First visit thanks to my daughter's recommendations. She could not believe how fabulous all of the salsa dips tasted, and clued me in to this newer taco eatery. However, today was not a salsa day for me because I discovered that Penn State Creamery Ice Cream is also available here, so ice cream ruled. There were 3 flavors available, and usually change once the next Penn State trip occurs to replenish as needed. The shop itself is small, but very quaint, cool, and inviting. The owner was exceptionally friendly, and well-equpped to start, and maintain lively conversation about his background, travels, and the passion he has when it comes to creating healthy, and tasteful products and meals . It is a family run operation, and he and his wife are working hard to offer the community quality food in a comfortable setting. I look forward to the next visit to give the tacos, and salsas a try, and to find out what new ice cream flavors await me.

I really enjoyed eating at Salsa Sam's Eatery. My favorite thing was the queso - I could drink that or eat it with a spoon! We also tried the fish taco and a rice bowl. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant is quirky and comfortable. I live across town but next time I'm out this way I will definitely stop again.

This place is the cutest with small space inside to dine but back yard/ patio for summer is very cool. The owner is so friendly, spent a ton of time talking to us and talking about his restaurant. We just stopped in for ice cream because they are one of the few locations in and around Pittsburgh area that carries the Penn State Creamery ice cream. If you like tacos, ice cream and fun vibe then stop here and check it out.

Amazing taco. We started with the seafood nachos. We had fish taco & Baja shrimp taco. On top of that, wonderful service too. Definitely be back with our taco-loving friends.

Freshest place in Irwin. Cozy little interior. Delicious food. Got the fish tacos and they were quite tasty, as were the jackfruit tacos.

Anytime my mom and I are out near Shadyside, we love to eat there. We love Mexican food and they do it so well. My husband loved his pozole soup. I had the tortilla soup today and it had such great flavor. I would be easier to eat if the tortilla strips in it were a little bit smaller. The birria tacos were phenomenal. The shredded beef is so tender and has the most amazing flavor. They're also super cheesy. The consommé really made it too. The chimichangas are very crunchy and you can't go wrong with any protein you choose. The guacamole is so creamy and tasty. Their chips are really good too. I have never had a drink there but they always look good. Go check them out if you like Mexican food. We have loved everything we have tried and you will too. Absolutely loved the birria tacos. So tasty and cheesy!

We…read moregot chips and salsa to start; the salsas are on the mild side (we got roasted tomato and tomatillo and both tasted mild) so if you want spice go for their spicy salsa. The service here is excellent. In both visits the attentiveness has been perfect. The environment is musical, decorative, and darker. It is great for a date, a visit with friend, or a chance to scratch that taco itch. Now, their tacos are so good. My favorite is the chicken taco (sounds boring?); these tacos are amazing. Guacamole cream, kale, and spiced chicken. I also had chicken and chorizo, which is very good, but that chicken one is the bomb!

They have a small area to order and a few bar stools to eat in one section and a much larger section up a few steps with pinball machines which is really cool. They have a variety of drinks including jarritos YUM and some jack worth ginger beer which i thought was nice for them to support other local businesses. I got my food to go. Chicken thigh tacos and a seasonal special. I believe it was a ramp steak taco. They were both stuffed with meat and toppings and really flavorful. I feel like the meat could have been bit more juicy but I did have to take it to go. In also got chips and queso that was good however I thought the chips were a little salty. Nothing a little wipe can't fix. 100% coming back and bringing my friends this place has nice portions at a decent price.

The chips and queso were delicious- we really enjoyed that and felt it was a good price. We then split 4 different tacos to sample many of their options. The beef shoulder and pork butt were good but could use more flavor. The chicken thigh was a bit clunky feeling and dry, in my opinion. Our favorite taco was the chorizo taco. It was very flavorful! I must say, I appreciate how full the tacos are and the corn tortillas were surprisingly tasty! I would come again but only for the chips and queso, maybe a chorizo taco, and am very curious about their burritos- specifically the brunch themed ones. The setting is very laid back which is nice and easy. You order at the counter and have a seat in their back room where they bring the food to you. The stand for getting hot sauce and free water was convenient. Everything came out very quickly which is another bonus! Overall not a bad experience, I would try again but some different menu items.
