Make ur own bowl chicken and chimichurri
    Sarah A.

Super fresh and nice servers! Quick service. The quest was kind of unique and good. The guac was decent. I did not like the corn. It was very smoky in an unenjoyable way. I got the make ur own bowl with chicken. It was easy to eat but I wish it was a little more flavorful. I would get the Tex mex beef next time. The prickly pear drink was good! The chimichurri sauce was amazing! I def recommend . I'd come here again.

    Chips and bland salsa

My latest visit to Condado Tacks was just ok. I left full, so the basic mission was completed. The two vegetarian tacos ordered by my plus one were the highlight. We also ordered chips and salsa, and the salsa was so bland that we asked to swap it for guac and hot sauce. The guac wasn't much better, and we used the extra salt from a margarita mug to season it. The hot sauce request went unanswered, but we didn't make a fuss because the place was packed and our server was busy. My advice: stick with the tacos they suggest on the menu, and skip the salsa and guac. The latter aren't worth it.

Smoked Cheddar Queso and guacamole were very good!

I came here with a group of 4 on a Sunday night for my birthday dinner. There was only a 5 minute wait and we were quickly greeted by our server. She seemed a bit flustered due to another tables issues, and she didn't hear me order salsa with our apps but no biggie... the smoked queso and guacamole were very good. We also got the 2 margarita flights for $20. The glasses were described to us as "very small" so I'm thinking maybe like 3 sips per drink? But it was more like half of a margarita. My fiancé and I couldn't finish them all but they were all very good! For the tacos I got the Korean bbq and Baja shrimp. Both were ok. I was expecting a way more mild spice factor but they were both definitely spicy. My fiancé had the chicken bacon ranch burrito and loved it. I'd come back here for apps and drinks again for sure!

While in Pittsburgh for a volleyball tournament we snuck away for a late lunch (taco and margarita). Short walk from the convention center! We were able to snag a seat at the bar and ordered quickly. The bartender was friendly and efficient. The drinks and food were great too. This location is small but has lots of little tables and many seats at the bar.

Went about 9:15pm Sat at the bar! Service was very fast and consistent! I was extremely surprised at how good the food was! My friend got a SWOLE BOWL! I got chips & queso (no Jalepenos or paprika) And a blue dream beef taco. It was packed with flavor! Chill vibes, sound was fairly low. Had TVs behind the bar! I'll absolutely be back!!!

This location of Condado is always consistent. Because it is near the convention center, it can get busy if there is a convention in town. I always recommend starting with one of the dips--a small size is perfect for sharing with two people. The queso is great! As for tacos, the have an extensive menu of pre-built tacos or you can build your own. Be sure to pay attention to which tacos are marked as "spicy." They also have bowls now which adds some nice variety. The inside is very colorful with lots of artwork. No plain walls in the whole place!

I stopped by Condado for a quick bite to eat while on a 2 hr Greyhound bus layover. I walked there from the bus station, which was only one block away, so I don't know how parking is in the area. I sat at the bar. The bartender was very pleasant. The taco and mocktail margaritas I had were tasty. You gotta build your own taco when you eat at Condado. It's so fun & tasty. Some of the sauces were a little spicier than I expected, so be careful when ordering.

Delicious Mexican fare close to tourist attractions. We popped in after exploring Senator John Heinz History Center. We were seated right away in the upstairs section and when we arrived, we were the only party up there. It was nice having the whole second floor to ourselves for a bit. Our waitress, Sam, came over to say hello and bring waters. She was bubbly, helpful and a breath of a fresh air. We truly appreciated her waiting on us! To start, we ordered the street corn guac. The chips were warm and crispy, and the guac was incredible. The roasted corn and Cotija cheese mixed in nicely with the guac. Highly recommend this! I ordered two meatless tacos, which were tasty, but too spicy for me. Rango Tango was slightly less spicy but still on the spicier side. I removed some of the jalapeños from my Power Plant taco and ate most of it. I enjoyed the shells on both tacos, though. The restaurant was clean, bathroom was fully stocked and the artwork was dope. Easy to navigate to if you're exploring the downtown area or would like to grab food before a ball game.

Got the steak tacos with peppers, onions, and guacamole--super flavorful! I also tried the trio of small sides: guacamole, queso, and street corn dip, and everything was delicious. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town.

This was my first time visiting a Condado Tacos and I will be back! Met a friend for dinner and drinks before the Penguins game. Service was quick, food was good, and there's great atmosphere. I had the chicken bacon ranch burrito and a beer. We shared a small guac and chips. The tacos looked good, but I didn't get a photo.

While the food was tasty, it was relatively small on portion size. I was still hungry after eating there. My friends and I had a great server as he was as friendly, but the hostess was rude which is a shame because that's the first person you see walking in the door. I probably won't be back but it is a convenient location with tasty food near the convention center .

Ordered pick up on a Sunday night. The place was packed, seemed very hipster filled. Was told to go to the pick up window on the other side of the building. Waited for about 5 minutes before someone even came up to the window. When I took it back to the hotel, I realized there were no utensils. Luckily the hotel had extra. Now the food. The swole bowl was a let down. There was SO MUCH rice. The flavor was bland, nothing special about it. The street corn guac was better than the bowl. It was 90% guac and not enough corn. Did find a huge avocado chunk, but I guess that means they make it fresh. Would I get it again? Probably not.

Conveniently located across from the August Wilson Center this is favorite spot when we're in town for the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival. It's a fun casual atmosphere, with an assortment of tacos. Reasonable prices and quick service are great reasons to stop by.

Great spot for tacos they are overpriced but if you go on Tuesday you can grab a few of them half off and that's when I recommend going.

The tostadas were nicely crispy and had the perfect amount of salt. The guacamole was fresh. My husband said that it was probably the best value that we have even gotten for chips and guacamole at any restaurant. Carne-asada street tacos - 3.5 stars - Again, the serving size was large. The tortillas reminded me a bit of my husband's Mexican grandma's tortillas. As for the carne-asada meat, my husband said, "I don't know what that was supposed to be." Eek! However, he added, "The beans and rice are very good. There's definitely a Mexican in that kitchen." Well, I do not know who the chefs are, but I hope that they accept that last comment as a compliment. These two menu items cost $42 plus tax and tip.

They were a band from another country that was performing at a nearby venue a little while later. I was excited to be able to get them a good, non-road food meal. I'm sure any band members out there appreciate what a treat this can be. The place was half empty. After 20min., I had to physically go to the bar, where servers were kinda just hanging out, to get someone over to serve us. Our waitress was sweet. We order drinks and food. The chips arrived cold. Small issue. The food came soon after. Cool. Went up to check on drinks. Nothing. I want to stress that they were nowhere near slammed at that time. Our drinks arrived after we were well-finished eating. Not only that, we ordered Margaritas and they were all from nasty, synthetic syrup, with very, very little Tequila. I wasn't asked if I wanted salt so I made sure to say that I did. No salt. We couldn't even finish them they were that bad. Between that and the terrible service timing I regret not getting up, going full-Karen and having them all taken off the bill. But I was mortified and we were in a hurry. So, so embarrassing. The hostess stand is a bit of a farce - the employees seemed to hope that people would just seat themselves. Even when we were greeted - they said to just pick your own seat anyway! The decor is pretty cool. I'm partial to the stacked wood for the smoker as you enter, but the rustic feel of everything made the vibe come alive. With the smoker right next to the patio, the wonderful smell of the barbecue permeated the entire restaurant. The brunch menu was just as extensive as their lunch/dinner menu. We grabbed two coffees - which seems like a rarity - as they brought sugar and milk in little dipping sauce cups. The candied bacon was a MUST. 6 slices of thick cut bacon drizzled in brown sugar for only $6. Walter's Benedict with Pork Belly will stalk my dreams... the flavorful crust charred to the fork tender pork belly casually laying on the buttery, crispy chive biscuit smothered in the perfect hollandaise is the brunch you dream of but never really comprehend. Brisket Hash was unfortunately a nightmare though. The menu doesn't inform you that the brisket will be chip chopped into fine dust and coated in hot sauce. It was so spicy that it was almost inedible and the 1/4" of oil under the potatoes and eggs proved that even the hot sauce felt like crying. In all, the amazing waitresses and cool setting outweigh the one menu issue! We will be back!
