Stopped here on a whim because we were hungry and we were not disappointed! Awesome tacos. My boyfriend and i both tried the general tso taco (special menu item happening rn) and then i also had a beef and my bf also got a pork and they were fire!! Would absolutely make a trip back. Wrote a review two years ago saying how great this place was. Well it's definitely not as good as it was then. I literally walked up to the window got the most "Why do I work here tone and service." There was no "Hi, how can I help you" or "Thanks, have a good day." I was nothing but nice and let them know what car I was in. About thirty to forty minutes later I get out of my car now more hungry and annoyed it's taking this long for three meals. I find out they thought it was a "Call in" and that my food was just sitting there this whole time. All I got was a "sorry" and given my food. Yeah thanks I guess.. Glad I paid for three meals at the place for them to sit and get soggy. read more

Terrible over the phone order. Websites trash can't remove any ingredients so I had to call. Teenager on the phone was super rude about it for no reason. Repeated no cream on my beef tacos four times. Then when I go to pick it up my tacos just have cream splattered all over them. I'm lactose intolerant so I figured it was better to just throw them out and get taco bell. Don't order here on the phone or website i guess. read more

I would definitely recommend coming here for lunch or dinner! I come here almost every week for lunch since I work not too far from here. The chips and queso are great and the spicy beef tacos are some of my favorite tacos. I consistently get the spicy beef tacos every time. However, my coworkers have all gotten a variety of things here and I've never heard anyone say they didn't enjoy the food. Even though the place is super small; they do have seating. I work a couple minutes from Bull River so we get lunch takeout here about once a week and it is always very good! The place is very small, almost looks like a shack so it could be easy to miss it if you are not looking for it. They also have a lot of benches outside if you want to eat there. I have ordered the nachos, taco salad, rice bowl, and chips and queso and they are all great choices. The food is so flavorful. The nachos and the taco salad are huge. Rice bowl is similar to chipotle style bowl, maybe a little smaller but not by much. Their queso is really good; it's that great white queso. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Went to Bull River during my lunch break today and was not disappointed! I ordered the chicken nachos and got a jarrito to drink. The nachos were delicious. I like a little bit of spice, but not a ton and they were perfect for me. I got them without the jalapenos to fit my taste better. The service was quick and the employees were kind and polite. Stopped by here on a whim. Glad we did. Super yummy tacos! I had a pork & a chicken and I thought the flavors were delicious. The guys got beef tacos and were happy with them. We also got some chips and queso which was yummy! The order was enough for 2 adults a teen and a 10 year old. They do take out / call ahead and have a walk up window and a few picnics tables. I was so excited to see tacos nearby and I hope this new business thrives in White Oak, where Busters was nearly an institution. I finally tried it today. I had a pork taco and a spicy beef taco, an order of beans and queso and chips. The tacos are soft with very nice tortillas. The pork was not overly exciting but the spicy beef was really good - that will be my go-to order. The beans were black, not refried. I really liked them, but for some reason I had been expecting refried beans so was initially disappointed. The chips were good, but I couldn't tell if they were fried on site. The queso was really good while hot, but it was a bit salty and got gloopy pretty fast as it cooled down. I phoned in my order for pick up and the person taking my order was very friendly and efficient, as was the person at the counter. And the food was ready promptly when I arrived about 15 minutes after calling. Overall, it was a bit pricier than I expected -$15 to feed 1 1/2 people, and the web site doesn't say anything to describe the food, flavors, company history or really anything of much interest. This makes the whole experience a bit less personal, but I did like most of the food and am still very glad to have good local tacos. I will definitely go back! read more
