Nice interior design. Not so great if you want a meal. All items were under portioned (more like snack-size) and over-priced. My daughter ordered the burrito bowl. After having to send it back twice to get it as ordered, we were all astonished at the quantity or lack thereof. The plastic bowl, approx. 16 oz size only contained about 8 oz. of food! A one cup serving contained rice, chicken, a small dollop each of sour cream and salsa for $15! My husband and I ordered the taco sampler ($18) to share. My husband had the pork and beef tacos, only one of which he could chew as the beef was very tough and leathery. I had the shrimp taco- the sauce was tasty but otherwise kinda meh, as was the chicken taco. Each taco was 3-4 bites- not very filling for most appetites. Both granddaughters got cheese quesadillas with chicken for $9 each and charged extra for sour cream. The burrito bowl came with a few whole tortilla chips and a lot of crumbs- the same as the "complementary" chips and salsa served prior to our orders arriving. The salsa dish held maybe a scant 1/4 cup of salsa for five people. No carafe was left or offered to refill the cup as at every other Mexican place I've ever dined at. We did ask for more and got one refill of salsa. The tray had more chip crumbs than whole ones. I guess we got the bottom of the bag, they were not house made for sure. I was really looking forward to a place that from reviews and other descriptions would be similar to the long gone, A Place to Eat in Frostburg. Sadly, there is no comparison in taste or price. My favorite item was the watermelon Jarrito $3, which I can get elsewhere. Sorry, I really wanted to like this place, but instead, we left hungry and a bit hangry. Although none of this was actually our servers fault, it was hard for me to leave more than a 15% tip due to feeling very ripped off due to the stingy portions and lack of the usual sides/condiments that should be part of the 'meal.' We will not be trying it again. read more
