It obviously is catered to an older crowd, which is fine, and other places do that way worse. We walked in and were greeted by a very cheesy Elvis statue. So that set the tone as we half giggled and cringed. The wait staff was very friendly and allowed us to choose where we wanted to sit. The table and light fixtures seemed clean enough but the floor has definitely seen better days. We were handed a menu that was much smaller than I expected and I was very happy for that. We ordered our food and in less than ten minutes we had it. The food was served nice and warm-hot. We immediately felt that it is a comfort food. The taste was fine but improved after we added salt and pepper (most places that cater to elderly tend to not season their food a lot) and we were more than pleased with the meal. The serving size was spot on for us and the price was more than reasonable. I was not expecting to like it as much as I did and as a result will definitely go again next time I'm in the area and feeling hungry.

For my meal I got the New York strip with peppercorn sauce and baked potato with veg. Well... the steak WAS NOT a strip steak - it was more like a ribeye. It wasn't cooked medium as I asked - it was a medium rare then rare then purple finish. The broccoli I received must have previously been located next to power lines - bc the vegetation on the stalks were trimmed off, and the peppercorn sauce was more like yogurt and flavorless with pepper sprinkled on top. Oh and the baked potato? It was a HALF that was plated in a way to seem like that was by design. Yikes. I'm usually able to suck it up, but if I'm paying $80 you have to bat at least 2/4. They went 0/4 and the bay never got off their shoulders. Won't be back. Sorry.
