My wife and I were both craving street tacos this evening so we tried out Tacos El DF in Inwood. Everything was super fresh and super authentic! We both would have preferred a little more salt to really bring out those amazing flavors, but overall a very solid spot! Out of the ones I tried, I think I like the veggie one the best (I love beans and rice though). Moises liked the carne asada best! The inside was pretty casual and just what you would expect from a quick service place. The food came out hot and fresh, so that's a plus. AMAZING! Food was delicious. I had the QuesaBirria Tacos and the next day the Pastor Tacos and they were very tasty. The birria tacos are actually made with borrego (lamb) meat and the conzome (mexican broth on the side) for dipping the amazingly delicious tacos all add up to a flavor explosion. Great Mexican food! Came here on a whim, craving Mexican food. I was pleasantly surprised with this cool spot. Their food came our quickly and hot! My husband and I got burrito-taco combinations. We both got carne asada burritos which we really enjoyed. My husband said he needed a little salt, but I thought it was great! My husband chose a carnitas taco which he liked and I loved my Birria taco. I would highly recommend! I loved their chips and guacamole. The chips came out hot and delicious. In town for job training, and was suprised to find street tacos in WV. If you want authentic street tacos the way they should be made, this whole in the call came through. Their unique salsa to garnish the tacos had a spice i'm not use to, but it complimented the tacos very well. Tortillas are made fresh, which is a BIG plus....hard to find even in SoCal. I went with buddies twice in one week and we were all pleased both times. There may not be much to choose from, but what they do have was a delight to have for dinner. Only reason they didn't get five stars was the burrito was a little slim for what i'm use to, but still enjoyable. Having a tv for customer enoyment was a plus as well. read more

Authentic mexican food in Inwood West Virginia! Staff is extremely friendly and willing to walk you through any of the items on the menu and if you are nice enough they will let you try stuff! Personally recommend anything with the Chorizo and/or steak. The salsa is extremely unique and delicious. My only ask would be an option for spice! For the classless reviews from "Taco Bell" and "Texmex" regulars. I've been in the store when you order tacos and ask for sour cream and lettuce. Awesome tacos. They were super accommodating letting us mix and match so we could try direct things. The salsa for the tacos is perfect. Mini quesadillas are delicious as well as the tamales.
