Hooray for Sheetz with its clean restrooms and huge selections of snacks! I stopped in here for the restroom and then got a nice, large coffee to keep me moving along. I normally stop at this Sheetz because it is in a convenient location. I stopped here on 4/20/24 around 1pm and had an awful experience. I came in and ordered MTO like I normally do. I was with a friend, and we both got our orders within a good amount of time. Since we had been working for around 3 hours, we decided to order to iced coffees after we had gotten our MTO. We placed our order, paid for it, and then go stand to wait. As someone who is employed in the food industry, I always try to be as lenient as possible when it comes to wait times. I understand that making food takes time, and will never get upset when I have to wait an extra couple of minutes for it to be finished. The wait time is not my biggest concern when it comes to this experience. I am more concerned about this particular employee who was working when we waited 20 minutes for two coffees. We were standing there, and she had called out orders of people who ordered after we did. Even then, I was not that upset, because it is understandable when we all order different products. But all we had were two coffees. She noticed us standing there for a while, and finally asked us if we were waiting on an order. When we told her and she noticed it was only two coffees, she replied, "Okay well I'm the only back here so it's gonna take awhile" in a very snarky tone. Saying it was going to take awhile after we had already been standing there for around 15 minutes was just insanity. I never try to "flame" any other food places because I work in food and understand stuff happens. But when we ordered two coffees and then you give us a mean reply when we were extremely nice about waiting 20 minutes, I mean it is simply unacceptable. Customer service is key to a guest having a good experience. Even if their order is messed up, or they simply just didn't enjoy the food, they won't forget how they were treated by the employees. I don't care that I waited 20 minutes (and both our coffees were made incorrectly anyways), I care that I was not treated nicely after being extremely polite to the employee working that afternoon. read more

Since my last review I'd say customer service has improved but damn your prices for food are more than a restaurant. I bought a taco salad today, 90 percent was freaking lettuce and the extra toppings I got weren't extra at all. Almost $13 for a taco salad, ridiculous. Paying for gas at the pump has become a pain in the ass also, the amount you spend doesn't come out of your account for 3-4 days. Nowhere else holds the amount for days read more

Why are the workers at this store lazy??! We placed a order at midnight and the girl that's working got a attitude because she had to make 4 chili dogs. Slamming things around and rolling her eyes. Ridiculous! Customer service isn't the field she should be working in. We get home and open our bag and we see hot dogs with a sprinkle of onions. This place was horrible! I have been to close to 100 different Sheetz in my lifetime, and this ranks in the bottom 3. The outside was clean, but the inside was dirty and it smelled like old oil. The guy in front of me in the food queue looked so angry, he must have been waiting forever for his food... we made eye contact and he rolled his eyes, so I am pretty sure it was them. I however got my food quickly, but when I got out to the car I realized why: old, cold French fries and a tiny veggie wrap. The French fries tasted like ancient oil, like at least 3 days old. I only ate everything because I was famished, and in a hurry, if I wasn't, I would have marched back in there and demanded my money back. This was ridiculous. read more

This place was great. You know I'm a burger boy, and all the choices you have for one here is astounding for just being a gas station. I made my own burger to my own personalized taste, took a bite, and was in love. My associate got the Turkey Sub on White and she said it was great, and that the bread was great. Sheetz is Sheetz. Very consisent. This review is limited to gas service and pricing. I happen to have relocated to this area a month ago. It seems virtually ALL the gas stations in Berkeley County (at least the Martinsburg area) are priced exactly the same for regular, and almost all the same for mid-grade and premium. However, I have noticed a trend that the stations in Inwood are about 4 cents/gallon cheaper than Martinsburg. Perhaps this is due to the proximity to the state line, where gas (in VA) can be 15 cents/gallon cheaper. But figure what it costs for a half-gallon of gas to go five miles south and tank up (10 miles round trip) at $2.99/gallon and you haven't saved anything if that's the only purpose for your trip south. Sheetz does have a deal with Weis Markets going on now (not sure if this is short term like Martin's just had which ended 1/29/11) or if it's ongoing all the time, but for every $100 spent at Weis, you get 20 cents/gallon off at Sheetz. Just so happens that Weis is not too close to where I live, and we have taken a liking to Martins. Overall, if you don't like shopping around for the best price for gas, go to Sheetz. read more

Please add a function to your MTO order screen that allows you to ask for the cheese to be melted. Also if you are going to offer potato skins / loaded fries please consider switching to crumbled bacon piece instead of the large pieces. This makes about the 3rd time this had happens. Never know what you will get when ordering from here. read more

**Warning** If you can avoid going to this store than it is in your best interest to do so and take the extra time to go to another store. Here is my experience with the Sheetz Store in Inwood, WV On 3/30/2020- My husband and I went to this store to use their lottery machine to buy scratch-off tickets. ( We visit this store daily and buy tickets here often) On this day, I had a winning ticket that was worth $5.00 that I brought from home to cash in an also purchase other tickets. When I came into the store I scanned my winning ticket and the machine added my winning funds of $5.00 to the machine and my husband put a $20.00 dollar bill in the machine. When the machine took the $20.00 it sucked it up quickly and the end of the bill got folded up, which then caused the machine to jam. The machine then was unusable due to the red message on the machine screen that stated the machine was JAMMED. So my husband then waited in line to let the associates know there was a problem with the machine and we needed assistance. The young lady at the register said nothing to my husband she just called on her walkie talkie that we had a problem and never addressed my husband so he walked away to the machine to wait. After waiting over 10 mins for the manager to come, the Manafer that was on duty finally came over. She asked us what happened we explained but she clearly was already no listening. The manager opened up the machine and handed my husband a $5.00 dollar bill and said here you go. We then explained to her that the $5.00 refund was for the winning ticket that we had brought from home and that we had put a $20.00 dollar bill in the machine and that is what was jammed. The MANAGER immediately had an attitude and said: "No you did not put a $20.00 bill in there". We explained again that how is the machine jammed and still jammed if you just gave us $5.00. She had no response. She then told us that we werent understanding what she was saying and that we werent understanding what she was saying and didnt know what else to tell us. We then explained that she wasnt getting it. That clearly our money was jammed up in the machine and didnt make it to the money box hence why the machine is saying jammed. The MANAGER not wanting to listen or even care then threatened to ban us from the store because we wanted our money back. I asked the MANAGER if she was able to pull the security camera to see that my husband put the money in there. She went into the back and came back and said that she pulled the tape and didnt see him put money in the machine and then in the next breath said we only saw him put the $5.00. So I dont understand how she didnt see him put money in there but then she saw him put $5.00 in the machine (which we never wput a $5.00 bill because the $5.00 came from my winning ticket. My husband asked if he could leave his name and number to have the the manager's manger give him a call to figure it out. My husband was told no you will have to come back when the manager is here which my husband works is not able to come to the store. So my husband left his name and number anyway. The following day 3/31/2020- I contacted the store at 9am and spoke with the General Manager and she was completely rude from the beginning. Told me that there was no $20.00 in the machine. She told me "Your husband didn't put any money in the machine" "I dont know what to tell you, you never put money in the machine". This is a complete LIE. Why would some one make this up trying to scam or get over on someone and leave their names and phone numbers. Kinda crazy dont you think. So After speaking with the General Manager and getting no where and being told she would call her DISTRICT manager and call us back which she never did, I contacted the Sheetz Corporate Number and filed a complaint and was told that the District manager would call me back. Which never happened. Now on 4/1/2020- Just spoke with the District manager who told me "I don't know what to tell you. You must have gotten confused and thought you put money in there but you did not." My husband and I are in our early 30's we DID NOT get confused. We know without question that we put the $20.00 bill in the machine. All of these people mentioned in this review said we were lying. Is that how you treat customers.......I think not. So end result.....Sheetz in Inwood WV took our money in one way or another and now we are just out $20.00. This is the rudest store and I recommend that no one visit this store. Check the numerous reviews on the web about this specific store and you will see they have nothing but terrible reviews about their customer service. read more
