Very good food in an inviting space. The decor has an Mayan theme with calendars, temples, and Cinco de Mayo Art on the walls. My food arrived quickly and it was piping hot. My dish came with a fried Jalapeno, so it carried plenty of spice. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the complimentary salsa and chips. It appears they expanded some years ago, so there are plenty of tables and booths. read more

Worst service ever had!!! I mean bad . Won't be back food wasn't that great either! I will never go back again. I was finished with my Mail waited 15 minutes for a box. Ask for salt never got it turned around waiting for the bill. We waited a good 10 minutes for that too. It was just not a good night to be there. read more

Went on Cinco de Mayo and it was crazy busy as expected. The server did so well for how busy she was. Very attentive. The bar mixed up our drink order (who wanted salt on rim) but we just dealt with it because it took forever to get. Food has such great potential but the ground beef was dry. I want to try it one more time when they're not completely in the weeds and see how it is. read more

This place is really good. The food is authentic and great. Our service was super fast and very helpful and friendly. It is not a huge place but it would be fun for a group. All food is good you won't go wrong read more

I will literally eat anything and I felt sick just looking at this food. My beef quesadilla was cold and sitting on top of its own grease soup. The waitress was clearly new or just didn't care to promote herself. When the best part of the meal were the free chips, and those were stale, you have a problem. I had a total of 4 bites before calling it quits. I recommend making food at home before going to this "restaurant". read more

It's a family tradition to come here at least once a month! This place is awesome and the prices are very affordable! It was very sanitary and clean. The food was delicious, and I really recommend the churros for dessert! The waiters and waitresses were very kind and helpful! I definitely recommend this place! read more

Anybody know where to get some good Mexican food around here? Cause this ain't it. Used to be pretty good but not lately. And forget about ordering takeout. The last three times I ordered online they 'lost' my order. Had to wait around for them to make it. No offer to try to make it right. Then, this last time we discovered when we got home that half the order was missing! At least they refunded the price of the missing items. Were done. read more

I got the Quesabirria it was very good packed with flavor. It did not come out as hot as I would like it and was just warm. I originally wanted the birria tacos but this was the better option. Less mess! The chips and salsa was very good! Not stale and not super salty. The waitress was extremely thoughtful and caring with my picky toddler. I think the environment/decor was just fine. Bathrooms were extremely clean. They have outdoor seating too. No bar but they do offer a very small selection of free drinks from Thursday to Sunday. We will be back when in the area. read more

If you have severe food allergies - avoid. I cannot have gluten or dairy. I ordered my food without cheese or sour cream. When my food came out, it had both cheese in the refried beans and sour cream over my flautas. I asked the server if I could please have a new dish. She brought it back in record time. I found a small speck of sour cream on the flautas, meaning they scooped off the toppings, added new ones without dairy, and sent it back to my table. I'm not deathly allergic to dairy or gluten so I ate it, but just want anyone who does have a severe allergy to be aware. Also, the drinks they serve are non alcoholic mocktails. It is, however, BYOB and there is a liquor store in the plaza close by and a beer distributor close by as well. The staff were nice, the food was delicious, and the food came quick. Just be aware of the allergy issues and the drink menu. read more

My wife and I have eaten at Los Mayas in Zelie 4 times. All of our experiences have been great! We had delivery once, takeout twice, and dine-in once on their outside patio. My wife has tried a variety of their menu items (enchiladas, street tacos (pictured below), nachos, etc), and I always get the same two items: steak texacano fries and chicken quesadillas. I absolutely love the texacano fries! Flavor explosion! (Pictured below) Whether ordering pick-up online, delivery, or eating in, the service has always been great. Food is cooked perfectly, timely, and with great portion sizes; all at reasonable prices! We've also tried their churros and fried ice cream for dessert (pictured below); both of which were legit! I would hands-down recommend this place over any of the chain Mexican places in Cranberry/Wexford. Los Mayas is an authentic Mexican restaurant, that I'd definitely recommend! read more

Talk about a breath of fresh air when it comes to Mexican food. This restaurant checks off all the boxes, but none more important than a delicious meal. They do not skimp on the portion sizes and somehow our meal was under $45 (for reference, we ordered a lot of food). They are BYOB, which I'm glad we didn't know as I enjoyed my Horchata and coke. If you bring your own tequila you can also mix it in their margarita mixes. The table-side queso with chorizo, the enchiladas and their chips and salsa we're all perfection. And our waitress was attentive and friendly. read more

The food is authentic and excellent. The ambiance is simple but culturally true. Tables nicely spaced with an outdoor eating area. The hostess and server were both very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. It is in a small shopping center but don't let that keep you from going. You'll be glad you did. read more

Beautiful decor in warm bright colors, Diego Rivera-inspired artwork and furnishings. Service was excellent. A treasure-trove of a menu. Cheese enchiladas, beef and cheese nachos, Mayas Special, guacamole, were all delicious. Kids' menu items are the standard but hilariously named; the chicken fingers and fries were scarfed down. read more

We came back. The music was much more relaxing and our meals were very good. We hope it stays this way.

Great first experience at Los Mayas, located unassumingly in a strip mall plaza just north of downtown Zelie. They have a few outdoor umbrella tables & lots of indoor seating. They are BYOB, but if you bring tequila or rum they have a whole list of drinks they'll make you for $5-7, like margarita & mojitos. We were not aware that they were BYOB so we just had water. You get a big basket of tortilla chips and the salsa is quite good, we had two small bowls which is on the house. I ordered the seafood fajitas which came with scallops shrimp and tilapia and onions and peppers, four tortillas and then beans rice and sour cream. My husband had a quesadilla with shrimp & chicken. Everything was fresh and delicious and the portions were large. Our waiter was very friendly. We would definitely return! read more

I've been here a couple of times and have enjoyed my meals every single time. I feel like the portions are pretty generous. Don't get full on the chips and salsa they give you because you won't be able to finish your meal. Lol. The staff is super nice and attentive to your needs. It's my favorite spot for Mexican food. read more

We love going to this place for the amazing and affordable food and great quick service.

We recently ordered six meals and a few appetizers for carry out. Online ordering and text notifications made the ordering process super easy. We received everything we ordered and almost everyone was completely satisfied with their meals. I personally loved the flavorful mole, guacamole and pico. We received a huge bag of tortilla chips, but only a very small container of salsa. Just enough for one person. Completely ridiculous based on the number of items ordered. read more

Food was sent out warm and bland. I had the Verde enchiladas and it had no flavor or spice. Service was good but I would not recommend or ever come here again. No liquor license. read more

If you haven't read the other reviews, this place is a serious hidden gem. I don't even know where to begin, but I have no had one single dish from Los Mayas that I wasn't in love with. Here are some of my personal favorites. 1.) Chimichanga: A serious flavor bomb that truly delivers with every bite. I love the different sides offered with it and the savory goodness that it delivers. 2.) Sopes: I have been on a quest for some delicious sopes. You can tell that their sopes are made with passion and serious dedication. The texture of the sopes with toppings seriously hit the spot 3.) Maya Burrito: This is not your average burrito. Wow is it packed and seriously generous on portions and taste. Support local and seriously order from Los Mayas. I ordered from the website mayasmxrestaurant.com and it was incredibly easy and quick. Los Mayas gets my stamp of approval next time I'm in town! read more

Los Mayas is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Love the table side homemade guacamole and fajitas. We've celebrated birthdays here and have always had excellent service. Ask for Emily...she's the best! read more

I have eaten there twice. First time was great but the second time was just so so. Not as flavorful.

My husband and I have been here three times. We had the classic burrito every time . We keep saying we will try something different, but these burritos are so delicious it's hard to not keep ordering it! Restaurant was clean, service prompt , portions large, complimentary chips and salsa also tasty. They don't have a liquor license , but yummy mixers to add your own tequila . Can't wait to go back ! read more

When my fiance and I moved to Pittsburgh from San Diego, we were resigned to the fact that we would never experience the same caliber of Mexican food. In particular, we were dearly missing the mole enchiladas from our favorite restaurant in San Diego. All our concerns were assuaged when we found this hidden gem. The food is spectacular, and the music/decor made me feel like like I had been transported to Mexico. I would give 6 stars if I could read more

This is quite the surprise - very good Mexican food in a Pittsburgh suburb. They made excellent enchiladas - cotilla cheese, good tortillas, great green salsa. I look forward to going back and trying new things. Interior decor is nothing special . Service is great.
