Walking into this fairly new Five Guys you are greeted by sacks of potatoes straight from Idaho piled up on steel racks. I pity the person who has to lift them! I love Five Guys, the burgers are awesome and the ground beef is fresh. In fact no Five Guys has a freezer. The potatoes are fresh cut and fried to order and a large will feed at least two people! The entire menu is trans fat free and they only use peanut oil for frying those delicious fresh cut fries. Fries can be ordered small or large, salted or cajun seasoning. They fill the large cup, place it in a bag and then add another hefty scoop of fries into the bag. There are fifteen different toppings to go on your burgers including jalapenos, grilled onions and sauteed mushrooms. The best part of all of this is it is free! Top your burger with anything or everything and other than cheese or bacon it will not cost you one dime more. Buns are always made by a local bakery and the burgers are always cooked to MW. All drinks are free refills of soda, iced tea or coffee. While you are waiting for your order to be cooked fresh shell on peanuts are throughout the restaurant for you to munch on. They also split and grill Kosher hot dogs and will top them with whatever your little heart desires including bacon and cheese. A little hamburger is one patty and one piece of cheese, a regular hamburger is two patties and two pieces of cheese and it takes two hands to eat it, so forget about taking it on the road to eat! Maybe it was because my first Five Guys experience blew me away at the King of Prussia location, where the juice dripped into the bun or down my arm and was so good, but I think this one was not as memorable, even though still very good, because the woman cooking my burger kept pressing down on it to get it done quicker which released a lot of the juice. I watched her continue to flip it and do this and I wanted to yell STOP! Five Guys are winning best burger wherever you go and those fries and dogs pack a wow factor! Add on fresh free peanuts and free drink refills and this is a win win situation. They are growing by leaps and bounds, so if you do not have a Five Guys near you yet, don't stand in one place too long or they will be building one right on top of you!

Ordered at 4:42p, notification of order at 4:50 p, actual receiving of products 5:35pm.

In the past 30 days I've been met with horrible service, a long-30 minute or more wait time after arriving after waiting for mobile order notification to say order is done. I leave once I get the notification and when I arrive , I invest in my 30 minute onsite plus wait. I made mention to the manager or owner and as he asked if He could help in anyway, my response was, "get better for everyone's benefit." His response was, did you notify anyone you were here, yes I did, he then said we have such a turnover in help our service quality is hard to maintain. FiveGuys is a corporate franchise and on two occasions I've bought ok burger, good Cajun fries and a experience full of excuses and poor service. I am the owner of a food truck and on any occasion my customers order large 20 item orders and never wait longer than 10 minutes. We hand roll our products and make everything fresh. FiveGuys is a fast food/casual restaurant and there service is slow and impersonal. It's sad in a world and place in time when service is so crucial to survival the corporate big brother doesn't show vulnerability. Attitude reflects leadership and if the corporation doesn't care, why would the profit Center under it?

In all the time that I have lived in and around Johnstown, I had never been able to make it here…read more On a recent trip back home I met my sister and her family for a dinner. I'm glad I finally did to check this place of my to try list. From the outside, it looks like a typical hole-in-the-wall bar in the Johnstown area. I had no idea where parking was because every time I drove past here I would be doing it at a pace I couldn't see. I was happy to see that there was ample parking behind the street facing building. Entry from the parking lot takes you up stairs or a zig-zagging ramp that looks fairly new. This area is also connected to an outdoor seating area, can't really call it a patio. Or, you can enter from outside and take the stairs up into dining room. This is a seat yourself establishment. Once you are seated, you are greeted and given menus. What an extensive menu it is. The amount of items on the menu, if you haven't been here before, can be daunting. It took me a few minutes to just give it a once over. When the server came back around to take our drink order she asked if we needed a few more minutes, yes, we did. When she returned I was ready to go. I ordered the Pickle Chips as my appetizer and the Howler as my main. The Pickle Chips were served with a side of ranch for dipping and they were amazing. Perfectly coated, not too much and not too little. Dipping in the ranch cooled them down just enough to be enjoyable. Now, the Howler, is kind of an experience. The Howler is one of their signature burgers. Half-pound patty cooked to your liking. The set toppings on this burger is bacon, choice of cheese (American Cheddar, Swiss, Provolone, or Pepper Jack), meat sauce, and a fried egg. You also can choose to add lettuce tomato onion and pickle. For mine, I went American for the cheese, lettuce, onion and pickle. There really wasn't any need for condiments as there was already so much on the burger to give it flavor. It almost comes off as either a breakfast burger or a chili cheese burger. Although I did as for medium, they overcooked it a bit. What was a nice addition here was the side. You can go with the traditional fries or go for one of many that don't seem to have an upcharge to it. Tater tots, slaw, applesauce, or nachos and one item for an upcharge, onion rings. I went with tater tots. Overall, this was an enjoyable meal. Our service was impeccable. Atmosphere was lively.

The building is just about exactly the same, save from a paint job. I was looking for a quick meal that day and decided that I would stop here. It was after the lunch time rush which meant that it wasn't all that busy when I came in. Since this is a brand new building it is an up to date KFC. Nice and bright, with that lounge feel instead of the fast food aesthetic of bygone years. As soon as you walk in the door you are basically at the counter. If you do not know what you want, step to the side so that others may be able to place their order. Once you place your order you can go find a seat. There are booths, tables, high top tables, counter seats, and like this large cushioned area with a table kind of in the center. You can fill up your drink while you wait for your food to be prepared and find a table to settle in at, that is if you are quicker than the workers. By the time I had filled my cup, my order was up. I had ordered one of the five dollar meals and you can add an extra side for a dollar more. Decent deal, and you get more food than other fast food joints. The food was what I expected. I knew it was KFC before walking in here, so I didn't have my expectations too high. It filled me up, so I left pleased. This place had a consistent busy about it. If there wasn't someone ordering inside there was always someone in the drive thru. Parking lot is a bit of a mess as it is just a strip of spots that are right off the street. Maybe should have done some more planning to add an appropriate parking lot and not put so much room for a single lane for the drive thru.

Taco Bell - Galleria Mall, Johnstown, PA - June 20, 2025…read more Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a fast-food place. This all started over the phone when the manager referred to a female as "sir." When I spoke up about it, instead of handling it professionally, the manager called me a "fucking asshole" right on the call. It didn't end there. When she went back to the store in person to try to resolve the issue, they gave her additional food to "make up" for the mistake -- and unbelievably, one of the food items had what appeared to be saliva in it. This is beyond disgusting and completely unacceptable. I hope Taco Bell corporate sees this and takes action, because no customer should ever be treated this way or be served food under these conditions.
