Shoot. Once again, I forgot to take a photo of my food. That way, you could see the difference between the photo on the menu board and the product. But, never mind, none of that matters: the Enchirito is back!! I could not believe my eyes when I saw it. Plump. Glistening with ample cheese. Covered with the perfect amount of sauce, dripping and pooling just so. Worthy of a plate, not some ol' cardboard box. The back story you never asked for was that my husband and I were getting ready to go on vacation and didn't feel like cooking dinner so we rolled over to one of the few fast food joints on this mountain. And there it was. I could taste it from that photo. In fact, I was taken all the way back to my childhood in San Diego. Before Taco Bell started plopping questionable peachy-looking mayo concoctions on every other product. That nasty Chalupa was not a thing when I was a kid. Those were the ancient days of the Bellbeefer. Respect. Haven't seen that tasty burger since a brief 2010 reprise. And the last time we saw the Enchirito was 2023. Yep, I looked all this up. Anyways, I used to be at Taco Bell super fan, in that drive-thru at least once/week back in LA. But, I got out of the habit when I moved out here to the surface of the sun. Not worth touching a hot steering wheel when I can buy all the branded ingredients at Safeway and fake it at home whenever. Which makes it all the more remarkable that I got a Taco Bell craving I couldn't shake and, come to find out, that day was the first day they were rolling out the Enchirito again. Was it anything like the plump burrito turned enchilada covered with freshly shredded cheese in the photo? No, of course not. But, it took me way back to childhood, minus the olives. Those went away in 1999. I don't know why Taco Bell is playing these games. But, we noticed they have a few more menu items we have not seen before: one is a cute Taco Salad. And my husband liked it. He keeps ordering this chicken avocado wrap thing, too. A few weeks ago, they took a stab at birria tacos. I am sad to say that instead of filling them with shredded beef and cheddar they went for some kind of wiry meat squeezed inside alongside cheesy mayo. And had the nerve to serve it with a side of bland yet salty consumme. No tomatoes were harmed in the making of it. Stop it with the games, TB. And it's a lazy thing, bringing back the Enchrito "for a limited time." I'll travel the scorched earth if you bring back the classic menu. Just a handful of them. read more

Service and speediness of the staff is so much better at this location as well as the kids working are so efficient definitely one of the better Taco Bell locations. read more

If you go in the morning, it is by far a better experience than if you go at night. My husband loves taco bell and he goes to this one a lot. He will bring me stuff back that is usually not even made right. He went one morning and I was surprised by the difference in quality of food, and, my order was made correctly! read more

Very good service drive-through very friendly, have my food ready I don't have to wait

Service here is always great (way better than the McDonald's across the street). Food quality was good too, pretty much everything here is good except for the chicken (Taco Bell should stop trying to make chicken tenders or chicken bites- not your thing). Very happy w this location. read more

Do better Taco Bell! Ur my go to place but the quality has gotten so bad. I paid DoorDash for this mess. read more

Well it's 10pm and I just went through the drive through where they told me they were closed even though it says open until 1am on their hours online and on the door. I also came here recently where they were out of beans.... Another time soda... Both fast food options are so unreliable in Estrella. Wouldn't be surprised if they are run by the same person. Unfortunate for those who live up here. read more

Night manager hates her job and makes everyone else miserable that comes to the window. Shoved my card back in my hand. Absolutely poor customer service. Just because she hates her job doesn't mean we all should suffer. She's a disgrace to the company and I won't be going back to this Taco Bell not only due to her poor attitude but also getting my order wrong is pathetic. Hope she gets fired because I feel bad for whoever else has to deal with her shitty attitude. read more

It's Taco Bell.. They were fast, helpful, and patient with me as I'm not a regular so I had a lot of questions. I now know why the drive-thru line is long... because of people like me who stare at the menu trying to figure out what to order!! read more

Worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. This was the second time in the last month they're out of beef. This time, they are out of beef, nacho chips, & their soda drink machine is down. They also refused to substitute beef for chicken without an up charge. Don't waste your time trying to get dinner here because you'll be left extremely disappointed. Zero stars! read more

If your working in customer service learn to have a voice that shows it. Honestly whatever dude and girl was working the drive thru at 7 showed disrespect in their voice with no concern. Wanted to finish my order before I'm even done talking. I had to drive up to the window to tel them I wanted to add something. And I'm told I'm only allowed 2 orders. Okay you idiot if you listened I wasn't done ordering. Show some respect or quit for real yes I took the time to do this survey cause you went out your way to show the attitude and walk away and not even give me my receipt. If a manager or someone sees this I would like to be contacted Got home and literally this is my food read more

5 stars for this location! I'm a picky person and order my food a certain way and they always are able to make my food how I like it.

I hade Taco Bell at this location about 2 days ago it is a pretty good restaurant but the tables could be a little more cleaner & if possible the prices should be cheaper to. But other than that it is a good fast food restaurant read more

Th e food is the best and the people are very nice the service is amazing I love it so much

The staff here is so friendly. I love Taco Bell and especially the potato tacos with added beans. Try it and you won't regret it.

This location is nice and clean. Such great employees! I accidentally ordered wrong for my niece and I planned to re-order and pay but the employee was so nice and gave a whole new order without paying thou it was my fault. read more

Cannot believe how rude some employees at this Taco Bell are. If you hate working at Taco Bell then leave! Don't take it out on the customer. It really took everything in me not to say something through the drive thru. read more

The Manager can't put her feelings aside and tried to trespass me for no reason, telling the police it's for children safety and that i was trying to fight a manager like girl are you dumb ? imagine thinking that fighting her old ass was worth being arrested and charged ‍ mind you i've been here so many times within the past year with no problems. read more

Updating because despite Taco Bell's corporate office and their horrible communication, or lack there of, the actual manager of this location has made the effort to make things right. Still could use some improvements but they are aware at least and have definitely gotten better since. I just wish corporate did a better job of handling issues in a timely manner + better training of employees = less sloppy food. A little goes a long way. read more

Horrible customer service. I ordered several items, including 3 soft chicken tacos. I got home and opened the bag. There were no chicken tacos! I drove all the way back to the store where I was told that I was only charged for 2 tacos. I thought they would certainly give me the third taco at no charge because of their mistake. Nope, they told me I had to pay for the third taco. I spoke to the manager and he offered to give me free cinnamon twists, but not a free taco because,"we can't just give away food for free." Really?!! I'm a regular here. I get breakfast every day during the week and dinner several times per month. I'll be telling all of my Estrella Mountain friends and neighbors about my bad experience. read more

Yo quiero Taco Bell! I do not eat it often, but when I am craving one of their cheese quesadillas, this place does the trick. I find the service at this location to be fast and friendly. No complaints. read more

Not the worst Taco Bell that I've been to. They are friendly her and always nice but they still do tend to consistently mess up orders and take a while. For this being not a very busy location one would hope for a little better service. Nothing bad enough to keep me from coming but definitely can put me in a sour mood when I get home just to see they messed up my order again. read more

Worst drive through ever! Got there at 8pm with only two cars ahead of me. The lady that took my order was nice but it took over 30 minutes to get food! I only ordered two things. No explanation and no compensation for time wasted. At least McDonald's next door is busy when I'm waiting 30+ minutes at their drive through and the manager gave me two free meals for the time wasted. read more

Yuck! Food quality is less than satisfactory. Store isn't very clean and bathroom was really bad. The floor is super sticky and doesn't appear to have been mopped recently. Staff was friendly enough but clearly do not listen. They got the order incorrect though promptly made it right. Watched the only other customer in the store stand at the counter for more than 5 minutes before even being acknowledged. There must be 5 employees in the back... Definitely wouldn't come back. read more

The kids who work here are super nice, however, every time I go here, my order is wrong. On top of this, the time in the drive thru showed their average time was TWELVE MINUTES....AVERAGE!!! This taco bell is quick to fix any issue, they're seem to get pretty busy around dinner time.

The first time I came here food was good. Warm not hot. Not enough sauces for how much food I got. I sit here on my phone in the drive thru at 1106 pm typing this as no one answers my calls of hunger. I don't want to be that ass hole and honk. I have tried calling out but no one is answering. Pulled around front and it looks like they are doing inventory without a headset on. So drive thru won't be acknowledged tonight. *sigh* I will admit defeat and go home and eat a sad bowl of cereal. I always second guess going to this Taco Bell for a few reasons. They mess up my order or completely forget one of my items. I feel like I waste my money coming here because it's always wrong. It normally tastes good, but i want to receive what I paid for. It's not that hard to put a bag of chips in the bag for the side of cheese you put in there! read more

Naturally, you would think fast food workers would be rude because they're just there to get their coin, but this one is not like the others. It's clean, friendly, and moderately quick. Personally, it's a good place and i love taco bell Keep up the good work ! read more

Family of three went last week. The gentleman at the register, Keith, was very friendly. We had a coupon and he was unsure of their procedure as it was his first day on the register. He did let us know and apologized as he needed to get help. The Manager, Bree, then proceeded to yell from the back on how to do it. The directions did not appear to be clear so he went to her and asked for assistance. She then came to the front and was extremely rude to him. She talked down to him the entire time and then started entering information into their system without even explaining it to him. We had three coupons and instead of letting us know that they couldn't be used in the same order in a friendly way, she stated that you can't use them but that's besides the point and I don't have time for this. It appeared that she entered the information wrong in the system so Keith received help from another co-worker (didn't get her name) and she showed him the actual process. I was embarrassed and humiliated for the Keith and the other co-worker and how this so-called manager was completely rude and unprofessional! Food was fine & order was accurate. read more

I'm from Minnesota and was staying in Estrella while my husband was working here. I stopped in while on a walk one day and couldn't get over how friendly and helpful the staff was!
