Ordered multiple hot sauce packets and received 1 mild and 1 medium
    Jessica H.

Ordered through the app for pick up. That part was easy. It took forever after arriving, for the food to be made despite being 1 of 2 people inside and the drive through line only having 2 cars. No one greeted or acknowledged me when I walked in or after I was standing around for a while. Eventually, someone little dropped the bag on the counter without any order number or name called out or on the bag. I had to ask if it was my order and he said "yeah" while facing his back towards me. I had ordered a hand full of hot sauce (don't judge us, we love hot sauce) and was given 1 medium and 1 mild sauce in the entire bag.

    Cheese on the table

They didn't give me a water cup and there is no way to get water except getting a meal super disrespectful horrible service it's messy there is absolutely nothing good here might be the worst place I've been to in my entire 48 years of living also when we walked in there was cheese all over the table

    Big Cheez-It Cracker

OMG I AM EATING THE BEST QUESADILLA EVER! So much sauce! And everything was super fresh!! TRAVIS he was absolutely amazing. We are traveling on the road, and he absolutely REJUVENATED us. WE ALL need more people like him in the service industry. So very kind and thoughtful. On top of that, quick service!! Not a whole lot of people in the middle of the night!Thankful they were happy to still see us even so close to closing! AND great energy, even for this late in the evening !!! Thank you Travis & Taco Bell, From Bethy and Steve

each order has taken about 15 minutes on average, a terribly slow pace for drive thru.
    David ..

Slowest service of any fast food in Folsom and workers routinely get orders incorrect. Edit: this was my longest wait yet, a whole hour spent in the drive thru this time.

Being mocked and belittled for having a visual disability is uncalled for.... being refused service, 5 minutes until another employee assisted me was unacceptable for! Rude employees need more training @tacobell

    Doesn't even deserve a star.

I was surprised to see that Owner is super cool and gave us a dessert to try out and walked us through the menu. We've eaten in the restaurant more than we've had takeout and can recommend for either direction your night wants to go! Onto the food: Chips and Salsa - Typical crunchy corn chips with a good portion of salt sticking to each one. Very good like any solid taqueria would have. Habanero Sauce - 9 - Tasty but wow will this one get you. It's hot! So much good flavor though...it's to die for. Jalapeño Cream Sauce - 10 - Something I've never seen before but is so delicious. Creamy with tremendous Jalapeno flavor with a kick. Destination salsa!!! Guacamole Sauce - 6 - Lacking in lime flavor, watered down avocado Sinaloa Sauce - 8 - fresh tomato forward but excellent spices on the finish. Rice 7 - Good but run of the mill Beans - 10 - Best refried beans you can get...seriously! Quesabirria - 9 - Juicy and flavorful. I need to try with hot sauce, cilantro, onions and lime to compare with the best in the business in Chula Vista La Fogata Burrito - 7 - It's a lot to eat but very one note in flavor. I was hoping for more pizazz Carne Asada Super Burrito - 10 - Juicy and tasty, hit damn it's good! Shredded Chicken enchilada with green sauce - 10 - Tender and juicy chicken along with perfectly bittersweet green sauce. Birria Enchilada with red sauce - 8 - Juicy meat but salty when combined with the red sauce. Good flavor though! Chile Relleno Plate - 10 - The fresh tomato sauce was perfect, the crunch on the chile was perfect, the cheese was perfect. Eat it right away to preserve the crunch! Taco Plate (Pollo Asada, Carnitas, Al Pastor) - Carne Asada - 7 - I ordered chicken but this was flavorful albeit dry Carnitas - 6 - No crisp and a bit lacking in flavor Al Pastor - 9 - Very flavorful but has a greasiness to it . I don't recommend ordering in a burrito because it may be overwhelming. Flan - 8 - Creamy and tasty, a tad sweet This place is fantastic. There are several items we've tried that have become our favorites among the local taquerias. Friendly staff, very high quality takeout Mexican at a good price. This place can't be beat!

My friend decided to take on their spicy taco challenge and with three insanely spicy tacos and somehow completely dominated it! She ended up winning two coins that can be redeemed for free tacos on the next visit, which made the experience even more fun! The atmosphere was also great: clean, spacious, and a really chill spot to hang out with friends. The staff checked on us often and were super friendly and attentive the entire time. I ordered the Birria taco, Butter Chicken taco, and Carnitas taco, and honestly each one stood out in its own way. The Birria taco was rich, juicy, and full of savory flavor with tender meat that paired perfectly with the consommé. The Butter Chicken taco was such a unique fusion taco! creamy, flavorful, and slightly spicy with a really good balance of Indian and Mexican flavors. The Carnitas taco had crispy, well seasoned pork that tasted fresh and authentic. We also shared the ceviche, which was super fresh and refreshing, especially with the crispy chips. For dessert, the churro sundae was AMAZING !!!warm churros with creamy vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate, caramel drizzle, and a cherry on top... definitely the perfect way to end the meal. The Al Pastor nachos were also really good and loaded with toppings. The only thing I didn't realize beforehand was that they came with beans, which personally just aren't my thing, but that's more of a personal preference than a complaint. Overall, this spot definitely impressed me and I'd absolutely recommend checking it out if you're craving tacos, good vibes, and creative flavors!

We ordered 5 different tacos and all were very gross. The food was cold and tasted awful. The fish taco was the worst. It tasted as if the fish had been sitting out for a few hours and they just threw it on a tortilla and called it good. When I complained, the server didn't care. I asked for a manager and they said we don't have one. To find out, there is no manager at all the folsom location. So you can see where the quality of food was lacking. I'm still waiting for a refund and no one has called me back from any of the other locations. Because if you need to make a calling, you'll need to call another location with a manager. We left and got dinner elsewhere because we were still hungry. And on top of it, had a very bad stomach ache for 24 hours after eating there. Beware!

Now here's what made it even better--this used to be a Taco Bell back in the day, so let me just say... the taco energy in this building is deeply rooted. The tortilla spirits were already working overtime before I even walked in. I stepped inside, got greeted right away, and placed my order for carne asada tacos and a drink. Simple. Efficient. Exactly what the pre-movie mission required. But here's where things got impressive... I swear the second I paid, my food was basically already waiting for me like it had somehow known I was coming. And unless I missed someone hiding in the back doing ninja-level prep work, I'm pretty sure the young lady up front was running the whole operation. She was taking my order, working the drive-thru headset, handling everything, and still keeping it smooth like it was just another regular day. That kind of hustle deserves respect. Now let's talk tacos. These carne asada tacos came out hot, flavorful, and straight-up comforting. The kind of flavor that doesn't taste like "fast food trying to be tacos"--nah, these tasted like somebody's grandma would absolutely approve. And if the food gives "abuela would nod in silence and keep cooking," that's a compliment of the highest order. Every bite hit. The meat had flavor, the tacos were put together right, and for a quick stop before a movie, this absolutely overdelivered. The place was easy, the service was fast, and the whole stop felt like one of those hidden little wins you're glad you trusted. In all, Taco Express did exactly what it needed to do... Quick. Flavorful. No nonsense. Strong taco ancestry. And honestly, if this building was once a Taco Bell and has now evolved into this... that's character development. Will I be back? Yeah... because movie plans and tacos are a dangerous combo.

We were meeting a friend and they had gotten a table for us before we arrived, but it wasn't busy and there were plenty of tables available. We're glad we had a chance to try Cantina Pedregal before it changes into Nixtaco- although now having been to both you're going to have delicious food either way. The restaurant is beautiful and whoever did the interior design was so thoughtful with the furniture, colors and ambiance. It's very warm, welcoming and calming inside. A great date spot or place for a meeting. The lunch menu has a good variety of options, and is broken down into smaller bites/appetizers, salads, main plates, and then sides. It's a nice spot to share dishes so you can try more items and share the sides. We ended up getting the chips and salsa ($7) with an extra salsa ($4), Grilled Black Half Chicken ($23), and Fideo Seco ($14). Our friend got the Carne Asada Tacos ($24), Refried Beans ($12), and Red Rice ($10). The sides were shareable and needed, since the entrees came on their own. Our friend added some of the beans, rice and Fideo Seco on their tacos and our chicken did come with some tortillas to make our own tacos or eat on it's own. Everything was high quality and flavorful. The Fideo Seco was surprisingly my favorite item. It is vermicelli pasta with sofrito, chorizo and egg yolk and was very tasty. The chicken was good, but hard to eat without using your hands to get all the meat off the bones- the messy hands didn't seem to fit with the restaurant vibe but we loved the flavor and how tender the chicken was. The salsa was good and the chips were fresh, but it seemed like a lot to charge $4 for the ramekins of salsas. I would pass on chips and salsa next time. Overall it was a great vibe, high quality food and good service. Definitely more of a treat meal or great spot to impress a date or business client. For a regular chill meal it felt a bit expensive, but I think they're going for more upscale.
